07/01/2026: A small restaurant in a shopping center. Despite the location not being particularly glamorous, the owners have managed to give it a certain charm. The restaurant was listed as full, but no problem, two tables were quickly found, which is a big plus (where there's a will, there's a way). We had a good meal. The food seemed homemade. The service was pleasant. A place to remember when hunger strikes on the road. Be warned, though, this restaurant is very often full, so it's best to make a reservation.

15/02/2026: We stopped by without a reservation and received a warm welcome. The pizzas were generous and delicious. Highly recommended.

17/02/2026: We went there for lunch and it was a fantastic find! Located in the middle of an industrial area, we weren't expecting such high quality. The owner's welcome is warm, friendly, and full of humor—you immediately feel at ease. The food is 100% homemade, simple yet delicious, and changes daily to guarantee freshness and variety. I opted for the daily special: a generous portion, perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and served quickly (ideal when you only have an hour). The staff is friendly and helpful, and the service is impeccable. The value for money is simply unbeatable for homemade dishes like this! Reservations are recommended as the place is very popular—and it's easy to see why.

04/02/2026: I'm rereading my review from 9 years ago, which shows I'm a regular, so naturally objective, otherwise I wouldn't be a regular. I stand by everything; I'm still a fan of the steak tartare, imaginatively prepared by Jean, the chef, and served by his delightful wife, Claire. But today I succumbed to a succulent, melt-in-your-mouth Angus beef and was blown away by the steamed julienned seasonal vegetables—pure perfection. Light, actually 😊 "Warm welcome, lovely setting, good traditional cuisine that's more than generous. Not everyone finishes the steak tartare, but it's worth the trip. Reasonable daily specials, also generous. It's tasty, but don't expect anything too 'light' :)"

18/01/2026: Excellent location in a beautiful city center, private parking, very friendly staff and welcome, nicely decorated rooms, very comfortable beds, lovely shower/toilet area (just needs a hook for a bathrobe or other items). The breakfast was very pleasant; even though it wasn't very busy that day, we were treated like royalty. Congratulations! I highly recommend it.

Everything was perfect, from the initial meeting to plan the menu, to the meal itself, which unanimously delighted our guests. 27/02/2026: I'm still reeling from this place. If you want to pay a fortune for something greasy that doesn't match what you ordered, go for it... €22 for a salmon steak with two peppercorns (no peppercorns, just some industrially produced, greasy sauce with who-knows-what), pasta with butter, and a lemon slice with parsley (sure, it's classy and prettier). For our first restaurant visit after lockdown, we're gutted. Either pay the same price and go to a well-known local mill, or save money and go to a fast-food place; you'll actually enjoy it a bit more. I didn't want to go through lockdown because I know restaurants suffered during this period. I'd rather not let others make the same mistake, and I should have checked the reviews before going!

17/02/2026: We went for lunch on Saturday at the Café du Commerce in Lyons-la-Forêt and were pleasantly surprised by the welcome and service. The lunch was also excellent and very affordable. We went back in the evening for a drink, and the atmosphere was just as friendly. I highly recommend this place.

The Americano appetizer was a great success (that's rare... 😂). In short, we weren't disappointed at all. Top-notch prices and service!!!! ❤️ I highly recommend it.

12/02/2026: Great quiet location, quaint basic hotel rooms. EDIT: I rated this hotel 4 stars only based on the room. But the restaurant of the hotel deserved more than 5 stars, so I made the total 5. The restaurant food and service are phenomenal compared to the price. I had a 28 euro 3-course meal that was just perfect. I wonder if the locals know that such a wonderfull restaurant is in their town.
