28/02/2026: A lovely stop on this beautiful Normandy road. A large parking area is a great start. The hostess is both very friendly and remarkably efficient. It's a pleasure to stop at a place run by professionals. A nice menu with several set menus, the first being €20 for three courses… and a bread roll :). Lunch was excellent, served smoothly and with a smile. What more could you ask for? We'll be back on our next trip. Bravo!

13/01/2026: I booked the economy room. Small, simple, and practical. As for the receptionist, she was extremely kind and did everything to make you feel comfortable.

11/01/2026: I had an excellent business trip to La Corne d'Abondance. The hotel is ideally located in a quiet, charming little village. A major plus is the private parking, making it a great choice for motorcyclists. The welcome was warm and the meals were simply excellent. As for the room: impeccably clean and very comfortable bedding. I highly recommend it! The establishment is very well adapted for people with reduced mobility.

15/02/2026: We dined here for Valentine's Day and it was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment you enter, you're welcomed into a warm atmosphere, cozyed by the crackling fireplace. On the plate, everything is perfectly considered: each spice, each herb finds its place with precision. The seasonal ingredients are elevated to such a degree that you almost feel like you're rediscovering them. Special mention goes to the dessert: indulgent, refreshing, with just the right amount of sweetness to allow the flavors to fully shine. The service is on par with the quality of the cuisine: attentive and professional. All that's left for us to do is return to enjoy lunch on the terrace when the weather is fine. 08/02/2026: A superb discovery at the Palais de Joséphine in Évreux! 🤩 The dishes were as beautiful as they were delicious, prepared with care and great taste. Each plate was a true delight for the eyes and the palate. All this was accompanied by a most welcoming and pleasant atmosphere, which made the experience even more enjoyable. An address I wholeheartedly recommend and where I will return with great pleasure!

08/02/2026: The meal (Normandy-style ribeye steak and homemade fries) was simply excellent. The pepper sauce is one of the best I've ever tasted. The service is simple, friendly, and unpretentious. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the meal; I highly recommend it.

The staff was incredibly welcoming, especially towards the children, which was much appreciated. We also really enjoyed the crayons, coloring books, cardboard cars, candy, and board games! "Kids Friendly," as they say in Tennessee. 👍🏽😜

07/11/2025: We ate there as a party of three last weekend, and from start to finish everything was excellent: the ambiance, the welcome, the service, and the food from appetizer to dessert. I even finished my wife's delicious Caroline tart! I highly recommend this brasserie. Remember to book ahead. I can't wait to go back; if you're ever in the area, make the detour—it's worth it.

21/11/2025: This is the perfect spot to have lunch if you're visiting Monet's House and Gardens in Giverny. It's a bit of a walk down the main street, and you'll find it on the way to visiting Monet's grave (which you should also certainly do if you are in town). It has a lovely outdoor space as well as some seating inside though I didn't see anyone actually dining indoors when we were there. Perhaps they reserve that for when the weather doesn't allow for outdoor seating. The menu advertised out front is minimal, and there are more menu options on the regular full menu which they give you once you sit down. I wish they were a bit more transparent on the full menu before you sit down. We thought there were plenty of options to satisfy nearly anyone, and each tried sandwiches for lunch. Mine was a classic croque monsieur and my mom got a chicken sandwich on a crispy baguette. Her's was a "meal" and also came with a drink and dessert, which we shared and really enjoyed. The food was good. It really hit the spot, and the outdoor space was lovely, minus a couple smokers who were sitting nearby (yuck). If you're visiting Giverny, I recommend this as a nice lunch option!

31/10/2025: Giverny was lovely in its late summer bloom and gave us the experience we were hoping for! We had previously researched a casual dining spot for lunch and decided on Au Coin du Paint’re with its high reviews in the heart of the village of Giverny. The front outside dining area was rustic and charming, but we decided to eat inside as I was a bit chilled. The restaurant does not take reservations; when we arrived early, we had our choice of seating. During our lunch, the outside garden area filled quickly with other diners. Our burger, Croque Monsieur, beer and wine choices were delicious and exactly what we wanted! The other diners’ foods looked delicious too. A perfect way to close out our day in Giverny before returning on the shuttle to the Vernon train station.

26/12/2025: Sorry, but the pastry is more like bread dough—brittle and dry. The filling is generous, but the ingredients aren't high quality. In conclusion, you get what you pay for; however, we won't be returning despite the friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
