21/03/2026: I ordered a mixed platter via Uber Eats and everything was perfect, or almost. Great taste, plenty of it. I only took off one star because the lamb was tough and completely inedible. Otherwise, everything was good, even the fries.

11/05/2026: A truly wonderful experience celebrating a birthday with our family at Château Corneille. The welcome was warm, the rooms comfortable and quiet, and the surroundings of this beautiful estate peaceful. The meals were delicious, and thanks to Pierre's kindness and helpful advice, we had a fantastic time. We would love to return for another special occasion. We highly recommend it.

07/01/2026: A small restaurant in a shopping center. Despite the location not being particularly glamorous, the owners have managed to give it a certain charm. The restaurant was listed as full, but no problem, two tables were quickly found, which is a big plus (where there's a will, there's a way). We had a good meal. The food seemed homemade. The service was pleasant. A place to remember when hunger strikes on the road. Be warned, though, this restaurant is very often full, so it's best to make a reservation.

20/05/2026: I had to call three times and still couldn't make a reservation. The first time, they told me to call back the next morning to book for May 24th, assuring me it would be possible. The second time, they told me to call back the following week. The third time, no, they were closed that day. So I was given the runaround for three weeks by a rather unfriendly man who finally said they were closed on May 24th. When things start with such a lack of respect for the customer, it's a place to avoid. I've never seen anything like it.

17/02/2026: We went there for lunch and it was a fantastic find! Located in the middle of an industrial area, we weren't expecting such high quality. The owner's welcome is warm, friendly, and full of humor—you immediately feel at ease. The food is 100% homemade, simple yet delicious, and changes daily to guarantee freshness and variety. I opted for the daily special: a generous portion, perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and served quickly (ideal when you only have an hour). The staff is friendly and helpful, and the service is impeccable. The value for money is simply unbeatable for homemade dishes like this! Reservations are recommended as the place is very popular—and it's easy to see why.

15/03/2026: What a shame! It's 1:30 PM and we're being treated like dirt! They wanted to put us at the back of the room because, supposedly, the tables were set for the evening 😂 because the red paper napkins were already on the tables. It's a disgrace how they don't understand business at all! Avoid this place.

30/04/2026: A lovely establishment located on a charming little square in the pretty town of Pont-de-l'Arche, even more delightful in the sunshine. The welcome was particularly warm and friendly, with pleasant service throughout the meal thanks to the two very attractive waitresses. The only slight drawback: the quality and finesse of the dishes could be a little more refined. The food is decent for a brasserie, but given the prices, one expects a bit more on the plate. Overall, a good experience, especially for the setting and the welcome, but with room for improvement in the cuisine.

29/04/2026: With its great atmosphere, high-quality products, and especially excellent service, this café has become a neighborhood staple, and a must-visit in Pont de l'Arche itself. Located just a few meters from the establishment, I like to call it "my garden." You're welcome in my garden! 😇

31/05/2026: Really not great... The meat wasn't cooked at all... It wasn't what I ordered... overcooked... Too many vegetables ruined the vegetables. I ordered fries and salad, and I got extra with tomato and zucchini... Out of five reviews, three are negative. I gave the owner negative feedback... I was unhappy. I mentioned a chipped glass to the owner, and she replied... (You're not in a fine dining restaurant). Something's not right here... On the plus side, the aperitif, the rosé, and the dessert... There was a long wait after we arrived and between courses. No discount from her... She won't be seeing me again...

07/05/2026: Good restaurant, but the portions are too small for an adult... The dishes are good, well-cooked, and nicely presented, but you still leave hungry... and that's the bottom line. The restaurant is cute, the dining room is cozy, and the village has a typical charm. Note: Don't order the freshly squeezed orange juice! In my photo, the juice hasn't been drunk yet; it's served as is!

01/03/2026: On the road between Paris and Brittany, an unexpected stop in Évreux led us to discover this bakery. We left with a traditional baguette (5 stars: crispy and soft, perfectly baked), and an excellent pistachio and raspberry Paris-Brest—fragrant, smooth, and well-balanced. We also added an assortment of small oriental pastries, each more delicious than the last. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Évreux. The icing on the cake was the very warm welcome from a passionate and genuinely kind baker.
