12/08/2026: Catastrophic! We made a reservation for seven people, an hour before dinner. From the moment we booked, we could tell the waitress was annoyed… We decided to ignore her. An hour later, we were at the entrance waiting to be seated. Another 10-minute wait. Okay, fine… But the worst was yet to come when we were finally seated. We were the largest table in the restaurant and waited over 30 minutes before receiving… only the menus! Meanwhile, a waitress, probably a student, was being insulted by the cook while she was going back and forth between the bar and the dining room… Appalled by what we had just witnessed, and after all that waiting, we finally decided to get up and leave without dinner. A disastrous experience…

05/08/2026: Disgusting! We ordered mussels and fries and were served disgusting scraps of fries. The mussels were revolting, and as for the fruit salad, let's not even go there, just like their toilets.

14/08/2026: We were very disappointed with our visit to Casa Vecchia, even though the menu looked particularly appealing. Two particularly annoying points: the service and the food. - Regarding the service, we understood that the restaurant was operating "at a snail's pace due to unqualified staff" and that they were "doing the best they could, otherwise they might as well close down" (the chef's words to other customers, who were reprimanded after waiting an hour for their main courses and then another hour for ice cream for their son). However, we were seated without all the cutlery, and we had to ask twice for a glass for one of us, which was never brought. We also didn't receive the menu, which we had to request after waiting 20 minutes. The young women seemed lost and had to call the chef almost every time we took payment, which I think contributed to the delays in the kitchen. Regarding the food, we were particularly disappointed with the tagliatelle with gorgonzola, which was far too overcooked (unbelievable for an Italian restaurant) and very bland. The side salads came with fish roe, which wasn't mentioned in the description, and for us, it was an unpleasant surprise as we don't like seafood (but that's just a personal preference). We understand that there might be staffing issues; these things happen. However, between the poor service, the strange atmosphere due to the curtsy, and the disappointment with the food, it was all too much for us.

03/08/2026: Great food and friendly staff. My husband was ecstatic about his Cafe Gourmand dessert - a mini creme brulee, chocolate mousse and tiramisu plus an espresso!

18/08/2026: "You don't belong here," "Go home," said a customer who wanted to make a reservation (mixed-race, obviously). "Go back to Paris," said a non-Parisian. UNBELIEVABLE. Unacceptable service, as many describe below. Vulgar and rude staff, both to each other and to customers. Read the other reviews, and steer clear. Besides, read the establishment's responses to customer reviews; it will give you an interesting glimpse into who they are. Run away! (They have since deleted the response to this review, after talking about "getting screwed" while clumsily trying to justify the unjustifiable, explaining that everything is always someone else's fault). These people have no business being in this establishment. After 11 years, it's time for a change, even if the "Parisians" are still bringing in the money, it won't last...

15/08/2026: We had a wonderful evening with our four children. The service was quick, the food was excellent, and the staff were friendly and efficient. There was virtually no wait, even though the crêperie was packed.

17/08/2026: A nice place for a quick lunch break. Very good dishes served in jars and desserts. A very warm welcome too.

25/08/2026: Service was good, though the wait wasn't too long. The galettes and sweet crêpes were very good, and the cider from a local producer was also good. The price was reasonable. Would do it again. (Note: We are from the Lorient area.)

19/08/2026: The chipolata crêpe wasn't great, barely filled, it was more like a lace crêpe! The scrambled egg, cheese, and mushroom crêpe was good. The decor is outdated. The service was quick, but the welcome was poor: "Sit over there." In short, I was disappointed; I wanted to enjoy a good Breton crêpe. 😫😫

02/08/2026: During a weekend in Camaret, we visited this restaurant for the first time. We dined on the covered terrace. We enjoyed our pizzas and appreciated the service and the price. In short, we recommend this restaurant.

12/07/2026: A very unpleasant experience. Initially seated on the terrace, we asked if it would be possible to move inside as we were too hot, given the heatwave. There were free tables, but we were told it wasn't possible and that, and I quote, "I won't use the word, but people, one minute they're too hot, the next they're too cold [...]". In short, we understood perfectly well that we were inconveniencing them! We left immediately. We continued on to the village of Le Fret where we received a very warm welcome and had a very good meal. Having later read a review indicating that someone had been refused entry to this establishment because they were mixed race, I certainly don't regret not having dined there!
