04/10/2026: We had a wonderful time at Hippopotamus with our family! The food was delicious, the service efficient, and above all, the atmosphere was fantastic, making us want to come back. Special mention goes to our waitress, who was incredibly friendly, pleasant, and attentive. You could really tell she loves her job and enjoys welcoming and making customers happy. This kind of attitude makes all the difference in a restaurant experience.

26/09/2026: A slight cooking issue with a hanger steak. But they need to learn to choose the cut based on the cooking method. It's up to the chef to do his job properly.

29/08/2026: A small, traditional village crêperie. Very reasonable prices and excellent service. Françoise and her husband renovated and breathed new life into this crêperie, which had fallen into disuse. The crêpes are delicious, generous, and prepared with care. The ingredients are local and high-quality. It's best to make a reservation. We go there every time we have the chance to be in the neighborhood, and we've never been disappointed.

27/09/2026: The food was exceptional! The magret de canard so tender and flavorful, the escargots sooo yummy, and the creme brûlée the best we’ve ever had. The chef really seems to care, actually taking our orders and making suggestions. However, They desperately need someone to fix their lighting!! It’s so harsh, and all overhead. It doesn’t do justice to the cool artifacts on the walls (including the enormous anaconda skin, yeeks!). The lighting put me on edge and detracted from an otherwise wonderful experience. Oh, and if you get the baked potato, notice the flavor! We don’t have potatoes like that at home…sigh, i love France!
