30/05/2026: We didn't know it existed... Walking along the clifftop path, down towards a beautiful beach, Chez Germaine was there. We'd eaten some fruit aling the way and were not hungry. It was still lunchtime and called in for a coffee. No problem at all. If we're in the area again, we'll have our lunch here. Edit, May 2026. We came back, hungrier this time. Super fast service with lovely crepes. A really lovely, friendly place. Fantastic views and ambience.

02/05/2026: Absolutely flawless! A very warm welcome in a small, somewhat hidden restaurant, like a hidden gem. I went for the classics: foie gras as a starter and duck breast as a main course, but what a culinary journey it was! A festival of tastes, colors, and textures... In short, pure bliss. I'm not much of a dessert person, so I ordered the cheese plate, and everything was delicious, with a superb wine pairing. They specialize in wines from small producers, so you can imagine the quality! I think they have all the hallmarks of a Gault & Millau guide. A true enthusiast who knows how to share his passion with discretion and generosity! I highly recommend it!

06/03/2026: A wonderful discovery at the Dragon d'Asie restaurant, where we had booked for 4 people at 7:30 pm. We found the service to be impeccable, and the waitress was very friendly and smiling. The food was excellent, full of flavors and tastes. The value for money for the €25 menu was perfect, so we will definitely return for dinner when we are back in Carhaix. 16/05/2026: Excellent. A must-try, and I'll definitely be back. This recently reopened crêperie is a gem. The "complètes" (with bacon) or the "andouille de Guéméné" (Guéméné sausage) are simply divine.

15/02/2026: What a wonderful discovery this little restaurant in Plouarzel was! The Valentine's Day menu was overflowing with love. Meat, fish, dessert—everything was perfect. The February 14th decorations were very well done. We were greeted with a smile by the owner and her waitress. This was our third restaurant of the weekend for our romantic getaway in the area, and this place truly stood out from the rest. I highly recommend it.

14/05/2026: We had a wonderful evening celebrating our 7th anniversary. The meal was delicious from start to finish, with flavorful and beautifully presented dishes. The welcome and service were also excellent. We were even treated to a little surprise at the end of the meal with dessert. A truly wonderful place that we highly recommend.

27/04/2026: This establishment is best avoided on Sundays (the day of our visit): The food is good, but nothing special. I don't understand the "Gault & Millau" label displayed at the restaurant's entrance... Having frequented other establishments with similar labels, this one falls far short of the required standards. The major drawback is the wait time: a three-course meal took three hours... we arrived at 12:45 PM and finished at 3:45 PM. Completely unacceptable. They claim it's due to staff shortages, making it difficult to recruit. I think this is a flimsy excuse, because when that's the case, they don't open all the tables for service. In short, an experience best forgotten, and I won't be returning to this restaurant anytime soon.
