23/09/2024: Best food, super nice and friendly service. We first went there on a Sunday during the market, which would have only been possible with a reservation.
Then two more visits during the week at lunchtime: getting space without any problems.
The meat isn't just good, it's the best!!!

14/09/2024: A real favorite! As soon as I walked through the door, I felt this warm atmosphere, as if I was welcomed into the home of friends. The couple who run this place are simply amazing. Their welcome is full of kindness and sincerity, we really feel at home. The dishes are a pure delight, prepared with passion and care that is felt in every bite. It’s a place where you feel good, where authenticity and conviviality are there. A big thank you to this wonderful couple for this unforgettable moment. I will come back with great pleasure!

working-class restaurant: very warm welcome! hearty and varied dish. enough to recharge the batteries before returning to work!

18/09/2024: After a walk in Roscoff, the wind pushed us towards Carantec and the Chaise du Curé.
As luck would have it, it is 1:00 p.m. and the service is coming to an end.
After a Breton kir accompanied by small cakes as an aperitif, a “super complete” comes to satisfy me. Very good taste of pancake, simple and very good ingredients, a treat.
A treat far surpassed by the Suzette crepe with its ancestral recipe, flambéed before my eyes and with a delicious syrup with real citrus zest.
A double espresso to digest well and here we go again!

Nous nous y sommes arrêtés pour un repas en famille arrivant de Paris et n’avons pas été déçus.
L’accueil de l’équipe était chaleureuse et les plats étaient excellents.

29/10/2024: Sincèrement, pas grand chose à dire, kig ha farz seulement les jeudis et dimanches…bingo on est jeudi! Je ne sais pas si c’est un kig ha farz incroyable car c’était mon premier, mais je me suis régalé, surtout ce petit « lipig ». Petite fausse note où ils se sont plantés sur la commande de ma compagne mais pas un drame non plus, c’est honnête en qualité/quantité/prix et j’en attendais pas plus, pas moins!

28/08/2024: rien à dire super restaurant, service rapide, personnel agréable et souriant mais surtout crêpes et galettes délicieuses!
On a dîner dans une autre creperie pour comparer et il n'y a pas photos l'escale gourmande est bien meilleure ! On le rajoute sur nos adresses incontournables quand on reviendra.

10/09/2023: A somewhat rude welcome as if the person who takes care of the place fell by chance into the world of books. We're not asking for extraordinary finesse in answering two or three little questions, but it seems like it's disturbing. The bookstore is however well placed and it makes you want to stop there for a moment or even have a coffee in the sun when it is there.
