24/05/2026: Hello, I am writing to you following an incident during my visit to the bakery. An employee spoke to me in a very aggressive tone and shouted at me in front of other customers. She also made comments that I found inappropriate and humiliating, which made me very uncomfortable. I also work in retail and I find this type of behavior towards customers unacceptable. I wanted to inform you so that the situation can be investigated and avoided in the future. Thank you for your attention.

13/06/2025: I came with my hiking group. We ate on the very well-shaded terrace. Very good restaurant, excellent meal, very generous. I recommend it.

19/07/2026: The menu didn't provide detailed information about the ingredients. After insisting three times that my dish was indeed meat-free, the waitress assured me it was. I was served a dish with chorizo. I pointed this out to the waitress as soon as I realized, even though I hadn't eaten it. I was still charged for it! €33 for a mojito and a dish that wasn't as described. That's expensive!

19/07/2026: This is a very good restaurant, I highly recommend it. The service is impeccable, the waiters are friendly and very professional, and the menu is excellent. The ingredients are fresh and well-prepared. Special mention for the chocolate mousse.

26/06/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant today and had their daily lunch special. The service was very friendly, and despite the language barrier, they did their best to explain what the lunch menu included. There was a small appetizer buffet, a main course, cheese, and dessert—along with table water. The value for money was excellent, the food arrived quickly and was delicious. The service was top-notch. The other guests were locals. A very authentic experience! The parking lot is large. Highly recommended!

22/05/2026: Today, a bouillabaisse menu for this Marseillais (myself included), a test for this restaurant we've enjoyed for several years. This culinary experience was a return to my childhood, when my mother prepared this traditional dish with love and passion. All the flavors unfolded beautifully. 15/07/2026: What a pleasure to have lunch at Au Plaisir d'Étang! On July 14th, we were welcomed with great kindness, simplicity, and professionalism. The dishes were perfect, prepared with quality ingredients and so beautifully presented! The goujonnettes and frog legs were excellent! The service was attentive and kind (thank you again, madam!). The shaded terrace is a charming little haven. A place where you feel comfortable and want to return. Thank you to everyone at this restaurant who worked to make this lunch...a truly delightful experience!

20/06/2026: If you want customers, be open according to the hours listed on your Google listing and the sign on your door. When it says "open," it's actually closed. So the four of us went somewhere else nearby. And it was very good.

25/06/2026: Had a fantastic evening at So Club, the pétanque tournament was brilliantly organized. Thanks to Alban and Mathis for their warm welcome and friendliness! I highly recommend this place.

30/05/2026: So Club is a place where I grew up, whether it was celebrating my friends' birthdays when I was 12, playing five-a-side with my friends when I was 18, or enjoying a great meal by the pool! It's a warm and friendly place with a beautiful new terrace and excellent, hearty, and refined dishes. I highly recommend this well-known spot in the Ain region.

25/07/2026: The terrace is pleasant, but the food is nothing special. The chicken was served undercooked. The dishes are overpriced for the quality. My neighbors at the next table even found a piece of rubber band in their plates. The sauces are in packets, like at McDonald's. There's a lack of professionalism. It's a shame because the location is perfect for a good meal.

14/07/2026: Rather disappointed, we expected more flavor. A small snack with an aperitif would have been welcome, as is the case in most establishments. Furthermore, the portions are very small for the price. In short, compare prices carefully before making your choice.

12/07/2026: We left this meal deeply disappointed. The raw ingredients were undeniably of excellent quality, and this is undoubtedly the only real positive aspect of the experience. Unfortunately, this is not enough to justify the label of a gourmet restaurant. The cuisine sorely lacked refinement and finesse. We felt that the ingredients were simply displayed without any real culinary skill or exploration of flavors. The seasoning was also insufficient, leaving several dishes bland and uninteresting. Beyond the food itself, the restaurant lacks soul. The atmosphere is cold and impersonal, devoid of the emotion and experience one has the right to expect from such an establishment. The value for money is particularly disappointing. Spending over €400 for four people and leaving with such a feeling of frustration is hardly acceptable. At this price point, we expected creative, expertly prepared cuisine and a true gastronomic experience. Despite excellent ingredients, this restaurant, in our opinion, falls short of the standards of a fine dining establishment. A very disappointing experience, unfortunately, considering the price. Finally, the customer is asked if everything was alright before they pay, not after...
