18/05/2026: Excellent meal and efficient service! Despite the crowds, the welcome was very friendly. We had requested a one-hour meal to arrive on time for a 2 pm wedding, and the staff were perfectly accommodating. The traditional dishes were delicious and generously portioned: the calf's head with ravigote sauce and the lamb shank, accompanied by truffle mashed potatoes, were a real treat. The homemade desserts were the perfect ending to the meal. A great spot overlooking the Glandieu Waterfall to remember for its delicious cuisine and attentive service!

20/04/2026: The setting is very pretty. The details are well-executed. The food is good, but don't come hungry. The wait is extremely long for a restaurant that was far from full. The lady at the register was kind and very helpful. But the gentleman in charge of service... I have nothing against humor and cynicism, but you have to be self-assured and impeccable. There were several inappropriate remarks throughout the meal. The icing on the cake was when they presented us with the box of tea, which contained open tea bags without any packaging. Everything was mixed together (certainly by other customers). So much for hygiene, especially when you have allergies... I politely pointed out to the gentleman that everything was mixed together: "Of course, if everyone does it like you..." Not only did I give my water and the box of tea to my friends, but I certainly won't be back. I almost forgot the sugar for the cottage cheese, which was infested with ants. Over €80 for two, leaving hungry and risking an allergic reaction... The 12 frogs, which were admittedly good, aren't going to make up for it.

25/04/2026: The meal was more like something you'd get in a school cafeteria, and even though we were a group, it's unacceptable. Furthermore, our request to adjust the portion sizes was refused; I shudder to think of the amount of waste after the meal.

14/03/2026: The grounds are magnificent, the food excellent, and the staff charming. However, the customer service is a different story. Due to a physical disability (hernia), I was unfortunately only able to use my membership 5 or 6 times. I informed reception of this situation, and they assured me that management would take note and get back to me. I never received a single reply. The problem isn't necessarily the lack of a solution, but rather the complete absence of any response. It gives the impression that customer service disappears once the membership is paid for. A simple exchange or explanation would have been appreciated. This is particularly disappointing for an establishment that claims to prioritize the customer experience.

16/05/2026: We ordered two frog leg menus, which were very good. However, we asked if it would be possible to have two small potato gratins, but the waitress didn't respond. Instead, she served us small potato blinis; there were ten of them to share between two people. They were overcooked, and we were disappointed for a €36 menu. For dessert, we had a slice of apple tart, a scoop of ice cream, and a dollop of whipped cream. I was disappointed by the apple tart, which wasn't homemade. So, to sum up, the frog leg menu is overpriced for what it offers.

12/04/2026: A wonderful experience. Delicious and original dishes (duck breast tartare, chicken liver pâté as a starter) and the famous Bresse chicken! Good dessert with a very good and beautiful chocolate fondant.
