02/10/2024: Dinner restaurant recommended by the tourist office and the Hôtel des Pierres Dorés, whose restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings. Good attendance, the rooms were full. We had a reserved room for our group of 15. Varied and very fine menu. Good wines. Free coffee and bottled water.

The salads on the €38 set menu were the same size as those on the €11.50 menu? Strange... Were the vegetables in the Autumn salad the same as those accompanying the pike-perch fillet? They were overcooked! The quenelle—with its very dry and heavy rice crisp—wasn't worth a return visit. It lacked a smile from the waitress. After reading some of the lukewarm reviews, I hope mine won't be met with the ironic comments I've seen. Update: no change of heart... what bad publicity...

14/11/2025: Restaurant des Bons Vivants, La Réserve in Oyonnax... It's a very chic and modern restaurant. Located next to Valexpo, it's very well situated and easily accessible with its large parking lot. The prices are a bit high, but more or less average compared to establishments of a similar standard. That's all, nothing special.
