24/07/2026: It's a shame the waiter forgot our cocktail and wine order (even though he was the one who suggested it) and only served us a carafe of water, which we hadn't asked for. I had hoped it would be an unforgettable moment for our 15th wedding anniversary. We were hoping for a little more attention to detail. The food was still good, though.

22/07/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance (though we did search on Google). This restaurant lives up to its name: a pleasant welcome, and the food was excellent—even the pizza dough was perfect. The only downside, and there has to be one, is the price of the desserts: café liégeois and profiteroles at €12—it's a bit steep. We'll remember it for being tasty, peaceful, and right on the water.

05/05/2026: Good intentions don't always translate into good execution. I could write a long paragraph about this, starting with the language barrier, then the "advanced tour" with 30 seconds of canter and zero trot, which didn't even last two hours instead of the booked three and a half, and finally the fact that we didn't even get the right address because the one in the email, as well as the one online, was wrong. But to put it simply: for locals, it's probably a great experience, but for tourists or anyone who doesn't speak French, it's not. Friendly people and beautiful grounds, but that's about it. All in all, very disappointing and not worth the money.

11/07/2026: A Marseille institution Of course, we went there for their famous bouillabaisse. The terrace is literally on the Old Port. It was a wonderful experience to discover this Marseille specialty in a culinary institution of the city. The service was efficient and courteous. We were even given explanations on how to eat it.

20/07/2026: Having stopped in Rognonas with my wife, I made a reservation at this restaurant for a Saturday evening. The setting is superb, a beautiful restaurant both inside and out. We received a very warm welcome from the owner and were served perfectly. A smile and a genuine atmosphere are extremely important to us, and we found these qualities during our evening. As for the meal, it was flawless. The mille-feuille of tomatoes, mozzarella, and pesto was simply divine. If you're ever in the area, don't hesitate. I highly recommend this establishment.

21/07/2026: All I can say is that I arrived around 3 p.m. and parked the truck, with the refrigeration unit running, right in front of the restaurant. As it turned out, that wasn't exactly the smartest idea. The owner came around 6 p.m. and very politely asked if I could move the truck a bit. To be honest, it wasn't exactly appropriate to be parked right in front of the restaurant while the guests were sitting and eating on the terrace. So she asked if I could move the truck. That wasn't a problem for me at all, so I moved it. I didn't have to leave early the next morning anyway. Afterward, I went into the restaurant, had something to eat, and a beer. When I went to pay, the owner said the beer was on her tab—as a small thank you for moving the truck. I thought that was a very nice gesture, and I think it was perfectly reasonable. The food was very good, and the staff was very friendly as well.

09/07/2026: For a first time, it was perfect, nothing to complain about. I thoroughly enjoyed the homemade and generous portions, the friendly and smiling staff, a really good roadside restaurant... the showers and parking were very good.

28/07/2026: The Regards de Provence Museum is housed in the former Maritime Health Station, built in 1948 by architects Fernand Pouillon, André Champollion, and René Egger. At that time, Marseille was one of the largest ports in the Mediterranean. Travelers and immigrants arriving by ship were examined there to prevent the introduction of contagious diseases such as cholera or plague. The station thus served as a veritable health gateway to the city. With advances in medicine and the development of transportation, this function gradually disappeared. The building was abandoned for several years before the Regards de Provence Foundation, created in 1997 by collectors and patrons Pierre and Michèle Dumon under the aegis of the Fondation de France, decided to give it a new lease on life. Its ambition was to create a museum dedicated to artists who had depicted Marseille, Provence, and the Mediterranean. A major restoration project was then undertaken as part of Marseille-Provence 2013, European Capital of Culture. While preserving the iconic architecture of the former health resort, the building has been transformed into a modern 2,300 m² museum, comprising several exhibition halls, a bookstore, a panoramic restaurant, and a space retracing the history of the old resort. The museum officially opened on March 1, 2013. I only saw temporary exhibitions… I didn't find the permanent exhibition… the staff's welcome was very poor.

17/07/2026: A small museum in Marseille that I didn't know about. No wait at all; there were only five of us there at the time (July 14th). The museum's history is quite unique. One of the employees told us all about it. The current temporary exhibition on Dubout was excellent, and several satirical drawings made us laugh. The exhibition by the artist Gilles Barbier is also worth seeing! In short, a great find right next to the Mucem and the Cosquer Museum 👍🏼 I'll definitely be back on my next trip to Marseille 🩵

30/06/2026: A wonderful discovery. Dining under the leafy terrace was very pleasant. All the meals were excellent, and the chocolate dessert was so decadent I loved it. I'd gladly return.

22/06/2026: The two-course meal (starter/main or main/dessert) was perfect and plentiful. However, we waited a really long time. Surprising, as the restaurant wasn't very full.
