23/04/2024: Living in Velaux, I was looking for a place to have a surprise birthday for my wife. Well, I was not disappointed! Jérôme explained to me what he could do... and he did exactly what I was told, even better 😁. I can't list everything because there were so many things, but from the bruschetta to the burger and lots of platters, each as succulent as the next, everything was great! And above all, everything was fresh and cooked almost directly. Special mention also to Jérôme's daughter for her kindness and sense of welcome. In short, if you also want to celebrate something in a very friendly atmosphere, don't hesitate! Christian

29/08/2024: What a great and delicious experience! We first visited Xavier at Xa in 1990, then again in 1994 on our honeymoon. We were already fascinated by this beautiful restaurant with a retro look, the personal welcome from Xavier and the cooking skills of his wife Martine. Over 30 years later we visited the Xa again on the occasion of our 30th wedding anniversary on a trip to Provence. Unfortunately we learned that Xavier had passed away. However, the restaurant has remained unchanged and Martine is still conjuring up her very tasty menus in the kitchen! We were warmly welcomed and served by Melanie, Xavier and Martine's daughter. A wonderful, unforgettable evening, with excellent food and wine, in the middle of St-Rémy, with many memories. Merci Martine and Melanie, we'll be back!

23/08/2024: Ein schönes Wiedersehen mit einem Restaurant, das einen ganz besonderen Zauber verbreitet. Martines Kreationen sind einfach und köstlich - und manche Highlights sind seit bald vierzig Jahren auf der Karte und schmecken noch genauso gut! Wo gibt es das noch. Wir freuen uns auf das nächste Mal.

18/08/2024: It was a fabulous time that we spent in the Patio restaurant (small restaurant in a small street parallel to Cours Mirabeau), the warm welcome and very professional advice. The decor is original and gives the impression of being in a very cozy village square. The cuisine is delicious and generous (thanks for the doggy bags). We enjoyed chatting with the manager and his partner, who were very kind. I will just repeat one word: GO FOR IT! GO FOR IT! GO FOR IT! we know where we will go to eat next time we are in Aix-en-Provence

22/09/2024: Having stayed for our son's wedding we had 4 rooms in one of them as soon as we arrived on the terrace a cigarette butt in an ashtray which was not cleaned was immediately reported to reception and nothing was done, moreover despite a agreement to leave at 3 p.m. everything was done so that we left at 11 a.m., even the magnetic card was demagnetized at 11 a.m....we will not go back!!!!

13/09/2024: Everything was perfect. The room was modern and not at all in its original state, appreciable king size bed with impeccable bedding (and that's so rare in hotels today..)! The bathroom was very good and the shower is large enough. Breakfast with choice (fruit is missing) both savory and sweet We were scared when we discovered that the hotel was close to the highway but we heard absolutely nothing, the hotel is quiet and well located. There is room to park. In summary, a 3-star hotel that is well worth it. Excellent value for money See you soon !

22/07/2024: LA valeur sure de notre liste de restaurants, ça fait 8 ans que je connais le Julien et la qualité du service et des plats n a jamais changé : au top. Les ris de veau sont toujours excellents , le magret…l’onglet…les desserts. Le tout accompagné de bons vins. À bientôt sûrement!

The prawns marinated in cognac were tasteless shrimps that tasted like water accompanied by sad watered carrots for 28 euros!! A perfect hospital diet menu to curb your appetite As for grilled pork trotters, mastering the fire is not the primary quality of the grilled cook yes burns no Addition for 2: 74 euros very very expensive for a total disappointment to absolutely avoid

22/03/2024: Ne cherchez pas de cadre, le resto jouxte le supermarché et son parking , mais le principal est à l'intérieur, bonne ambiance, vivant sans chichi. Accueil et service très bien, efficace, sympa et sans attente . Prix serrés et bonne cuisine, produits frais, en fin de service il peut manquer de choix, et c'est bon signe. Personnel sympa

13/09/2024: we take an aperitif, taking care to warn us not to receive our dishes straight away bingo as soon as the aperitif is served the dishes arrive, we send them back by negotiating because we force you to accept the dishes, at the end of the day the waitress tells you that it will be cold.. broken stemmed wine glasses no carafe of water brought no salt shaker no wine list offered red wine served in the aperitif glass of white wine in short, French service they won't see me again

09/09/2024: Five good quality squash courts, two spacious changing rooms with showers, two terraces for lunch, one of which is covered and heated for the winter, several daily specials, homemade desserts, in short, everything is there to practice squash at its best and well to restore. The best!

For our last evening at La Ciotat, reservation of a table in the morning for the evening meal. No reservation when we arrived, very light apologies, it's a real shame. Fallback solution found elsewhere 😊 The saying never two without three didn't work this time 🫤
