L entrée est amenée...nous réclamons les aperos commandés. La chef de salle répond qu ils ont déjà été servis. Elle reconnait finalement son erreur.
Nous avons 2 plats : la bouillabaisse est sommaire pour 42 euros !
L autre plat un petit filet de rouget pour 23 e
Nos 4 voisins : 2 femmes sont servies 30 mn après les plats de leurs maris.
La chef de salle refuse 2 nouveaux clients car n ont pas réservé.
5 mn plus tard elle accepte 6 clients qui n avaient pas réservé
En résumé repas bof et service très bof.
Bon courage aux clients
Pour info et être positif nous avons très bien mangé au clos de lupin le même jour à midi à Etretat (regardez mon commentaire 😉)

04/08/2024: Hotel stopover on our very pleasant route. Provision of a baby bed and late arrival. Decor in its own right but it's so nice not to sleep in an ibis or novotel type place. Beautiful breakfast area, accessible exterior. Too bad indeed for the swimming pool! Super friendly staff.

17/08/2024: It's a new hotel! So neat and discreetly organised. The cuisine is not what I expected and a real shame! The service is apparently good, but it is not as excellent as we expect from the French! Overall it is a good base if you are traveling by coach.

We wanted to have a drink and we were stopped by a very unpleasant and arrogant old waiter because the table where we were seated was not cleared...🤔

23/09/2024: Habitués depuis plusieurs années à venir déjeuner au petit Flaubert où c'était un plaisir tant sur l'accueil que sur la qualité des plats toujours bien cuisinée et délicieux.
Telle a été notre déception en y allant en juin dernier où l’accueil était décevant, quand aux plats une catastrophe !!! dans la galettes une petite rondelle de saucisse au lieu d'une entière avant, pas de sauce, champignons annoncés qui était absente et pomme de terre immangeable.
Quand au dessert la tarte Normande pas fraiche faite était en 2 morceaux racolés ! surement un restant repris d'un autre client !!!
19/09/2024: Je ne comprends pas du tout les commentaires négatifs.soit les personnes n.ont pas de palais pour apprécier des galettes faites maison, très bien garnies et avec du goût.
Soit c’est de la méchanceté pure et dure de la part de c.est personnes.
Certes les galettes noyées sous la crème c’est terminée, vive la transparence et le goût 😋😋😋

Je ne suis peut être pas tombé le bon jour mais ce n'est pas une raison
Fruits de mer plein d'eau bulots et huîtres arrière goût avons du les jeter et pourtant pendant le confinement avions été agréablement surpris de la qualité

Langoustines cuites à 99€ le kilo foutage de guele je comprends mieux la fraîcheur qui laisse à désirer

11/08/2024: I booked via thefork.com and specifically chose the " discount on a la carte menu" rather then special price on " set menus"
Upon arrival they made us wait 15 mins ( the restaurant was not full) only to be presented with the " set menu options" ( those that i specifically avoided when booking)
I ( tried) since the waiter couldn't speak English to explain that was not what I had booked and when asked " is this the full menu?" I was told " yes" .. too bad his colleague was carrying a dish that was clearly one of the 3 that were listed on the menu we were given..
So I asked for someone who could speak English
After some consultation with his colleague, they completely ignored us ..
So we left..
28/07/2024: Stayed here recently as we used it as a base to see Bayeux and the Normandy beaches along with the war graves, etc. The restaurant was very good, the staff were very nice and helpful, the only problem was the room, on arrival there were many flies on the table and windowsills, ok this could be a problem but hey, somethings get missed, when reported the young lady at reception was very embarrassed. Will I stay again? Yes, of course, as everything else was good.
