30/09/2024: On adore le côté décontracté et sympa du lieu et du personnel..... Bonne ambiance. Cuisine simple, sans prétention, mais tjs bonne. Un plus pour les burgers !!!! Peut être renouveler la carte plus souvent ? Mais sinon ne changez rien à l ambiance....

Une ambiance minable, une restauration plus que limite des frites ultra réchauffer à patron qui, après avoir encaissé notre facture généreusement avoir critiqué parce que notre chien se trouvait sur une banquette en bois absolument insupportable et inconfortable. Si vous voulez passer une mauvaise soirée. Allez-y sinon fuyez rien n’est bonrien n’est agréable. Tout le monde fait la gueule bref à déconseillé à 100 %.

03/06/2025: We went there last Sunday, and prior going, I tried to call at 1.40, to ensure they were still open, it says 15.00 on Google map, no answer. We still went. We arrive at 14.10, struggled to park, no real parking area, we waited by the patio entrance. We were eventually greeted by a waitress, out of breath carrying plates. We asked if we could eat, we were 2. She mumbled something like, "No, were only two doing the service, and i don't have the time" and she moved on. There were only about 5 tables with customers on the patio. What a waste of a journey going there.

25/05/2025: If you're a foodie, you love nature, peace and quiet, and being on the banks of the Charente River, then you've found the right place. A plate full of originality, homemade bread. Thanks to a service provided in the region, we found L'Amaranthe. Thank you for this wonderful discovery in Port d'Envaux, this pretty little village.

02/09/2024: Ogni anno andiamo a trovarli dall' Italia sia per il cibo (di altissimo livello,pesce ma anche carne di qualità eccellente) sia per la cortesia,la gentilezza del personale. Lo consigliamo,vi innamorerete di questo ristorante e anche della bella regione Charente. Every year we visit them from Italy for the food (of the highest level, fish but also meat of excellent quality) and for the courtesy, kindness of the staff. We recommend it, you will love this restaurant and also the beautiful region of Charente. Chaque année, nous allons les trouver en venant d’Italie à la fois pour la nourriture (de très haut niveau, le poisson mais aussi la viande d’excellente qualité) et pour la courtoisie, la gentillesse du personnel. Nous vous recommandons, vous allez adorer ce restaurant et aussi la belle région de Charente.

30/08/2024: Très bon accueil, un bistronomique à l'ambiance feutrée, de jolies tables et des plats recherchés avec des produits locaux de qualité. La mise en bouche - toast à la mousse de chèvre - était parfaite. Nous avons beaucoup aimé nos plats et adoré nos desserts : essayez la nage de pêche avec sa délicieuse sauce/infusion à la verveine et glace au yaourt, vraiment excellente ! Merci à toute l'équipe pour son professionnalisme, nous reviendrons sans faute.
