30/06/2026: stayed for 2 nights & loved it..super comfy bed,peaceful sleep,clean room,tasty breakfast,friendly staff,nice atmosphere & the location was convenient. highly recommended!

27/05/2026: A very pleasant short stay at this establishment.

14/07/2026: On July 13th, my husband and I ate there for the first seating. It was certainly busy, and we don't question the servers' work—we commend them—but there simply weren't enough of them. We had to wait, and my husband only received his glass of wine at the end of the meal because he asked for it. We should have eaten quickly because there was a second seating, but for two courses (one main and one dessert), we were there for an hour and a half. It's a shame; they should have had two more servers that day to avoid any oversights.

21/06/2026: This was our second stay with our little dog. We stayed on the ground floor, in a large parking area opposite the beach, and had immediate access to the beach right across the street. The rooms were obviously very comfortable, and there was a swimming pool. The owner is discreet but attentive and available, and his wife has a passion for cooking that will delight you at mealtimes. A very pleasant establishment for a discreet and relaxing stay. Thank you.

06/09/2026: Perfect! I agree with all the previous reviews... It was simply perfect! Thank you for the delicious food and the warm welcome!

28/08/2026: For a first visit, it was excellent! The welcome, the friendliness, and the lovely decor were just as impressive as the beautifully presented and flavorful dishes! The dessert was a rare treat! Since we live nearby, we'll definitely be back for another delightful experience!

17/09/2026: A wonderful discovery! Warm welcome, generous and delicious portions. We highly recommend it.

08/09/2026: We arrived around 1 p.m. La Villette was packed. We asked for a table and were told yes, inside, no problem for us. We hardly had to wait before they brought us a carafe of water and took our order. The manager, who we imagined to be very pleasant and cheerful, was taken by us. If you don't know where to have lunch, don't hesitate to go to La Villette. The meal was very good, well-portioned, and for €19.50, frankly, you shouldn't miss out.

03/10/2026: The €25.90 set menu with a choice of starter and main course was simply perfect and delicious, with quite generous portions...no room left for dessert, which was a shame.

02/10/2026: A fantastic find! Impeccable, warm, and attentive service, with a 100% seafood evening menu offering superb value for money. Fresh ingredients, entirely homemade cuisine, refined and bursting with flavor. Every dish was a true delight. Special mention to the owner for his thoughtful touches: a complimentary glass of wine and even a souvenir photo! An address we wholeheartedly recommend!

09/10/2026: Great experience, the Camembert was delicious. I recommend it.

18/09/2026: Friendly welcome, efficient service with a smile, pleasant setting. Varied menu and generous portions. A good place to eat.

03/07/2026: Excellent food, very friendly service, and a calm atmosphere. A must-try if you're in the area. Please note, however, that reservations are required and the restaurant closes permanently at the end of August/beginning of September.

04/10/2026: A wonderful discovery! A calm and peaceful place in a former mill. The staff are lovely, and it's excellent value for money. We will gladly return. Georges.

05/09/2026: There are new owners who are still busy renovating. The food is tasty, but the drinks are quite pricey. We had a three-course menu for 25 euros per person.

05/10/2026: Excellent crêperie. Very welcoming and good service as well.

04/10/2026: Feeling a bit peckish at lunchtime, we stopped at this crêperie. We were drawn to it by its fantastic set menu and exceptional quality of food. Not to mention the very friendly service, always ready to do anything for its customers.

23/10/2026: Another great experience. We'll be back.

23/10/2026: Warm welcome, impeccable service, good and inexpensive food, and the staff are lovely!

25/07/2026: What a wonderful discovery! We had lunch with my two children and had a fantastic time. The welcome was warm, the dishes were delicious (homemade, which is rare these days), generous portions, and prepared with high-quality ingredients. Everyone loved it! You can tell the food is made with care, unpretentious yet full of flavor. We're delighted to have discovered this place and will definitely return. Thank you, and especially thank you, Chef!

23/07/2026: An old-fashioned brasserie just the way we like it, top-notch 👍

18/10/2026: A new winter menu with both updated and familiar dishes... always delicious... I always enjoy coming here regularly and am never disappointed. I know that when I choose a particular dish, it will be consistently excellent. In short, I appreciate and enjoy every bite. And the service is wonderful! It's not meant negatively to say that I've found my go-to spot...

17/10/2026: There were a lot of fruit flies during the meal, which was unpleasant. The service was very slow, and the food was okay but nothing special. I didn't think it was good value for money. Also, be aware that the menu online isn't up-to-date.

21/06/2026: We ate at this small restaurant, which had a beautiful and tastefully decorated interior. We received a very warm welcome from the staff. We ordered the €38 set menu per person (starter, main course, cheese, dessert). The cuisine was refined, and we were particularly impressed by the sausage terrine. The flavor was excellent, and the portions were very generous. The only slight drawback was that the dishes were a little lukewarm. We recommend stopping by for a meal when you're in La Rochelle.

20/06/2026: We came for lunch today and had a wonderful time. Upon arrival, we mentioned that I was gluten-free. The set menu (starter, main course, dessert) was adapted to my dietary restrictions at no extra charge, and always with a smile, which was much appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from start to finish. The dishes were excellent, the service was quick and attentive, and the entire team was very friendly and welcoming. A truly great place with excellent value for money.

15/10/2026: The atmosphere is warm and the welcome is excellent! The setting is magnificent! We will be back.

10/10/2026: A magical place in Royan… Worth visiting in good weather… or not… 👍😉

06/06/2026: The place itself is nice. The table service was very disappointing because you have to finish eating before you've even started 😤😠😡. It was really annoying, I'm not sure I'll go back.

19/04/2026: We visited a real French cabaret and were very satisfied. In order: an old manor (probably a former winery), with a large hall. Parking on site. Clean and tidy. Interesting and tasty cuisine, great service, everything is fast, the service is excellent. The show itself is something incredible! I didn't even think that 4 hours would fly by in one breath! Everything is thought out and well organized, the show itself is interesting and diverse. The pearl, in my opinion, is the can-can - real, complete, with all the details. Interesting circus acts, beautiful chansonniers, wonderful girls in dances. Everything is real, without pathos. We recommend!
