30/08/2024: Deuxième experience. Restaurant très sympa sur Ronce les Bains dans un très beau cadre. Les produits sont frais, le service est agréable, mention spéciale pour l'Eclade de moules et la côte de boeuf, toutes deux très bien préparés. Les desserts sont également de bonne factures.

25/01/2026: We arrived at this restaurant on a Sunday evening at 8 pm. We were immediately seated at the bar counter to eat, even though there were still seats available inside. The service was appalling; we ate in 30 minutes just to free up our seats as quickly as possible. However, the food was very good, I must admit.

28/01/2026: The store is very pleasant, well laid out, clean, and well-stocked... however, there's a major problem with the selection and availability of dairy products. On several visits, I found products either unavailable or nearing their expiration date. I was very disappointed with this section... as well as the fish counter, which was very poorly stocked.

01/01/2026: Lopez!!! The best ice cream parlor in ALL of Royan!! We already knew that!!! And their ice cream logs are to die for!! That was a real discovery. We devoured the Sicilian log!

30/12/2025: We ordered two Yule logs for four people for Christmas, and what a surprise when we took one of them out of its packaging—it was broken! I checked to make sure I hadn't broken it during transport, but no, the broken piece wasn't even in the box. When we politely pointed it out to the saleswoman today, she didn't believe us until she saw the photo, and the only thing she could say was, "But we check them..." Apparently not that often. I'm not saying mistakes can happen, especially during the Christmas season when there are a lot of orders, but the broken piece not being in the box means it was broken as soon as it was packaged in the kitchen... And to top it all off, in addition to being condescending, the saleswoman didn't even apologize, which, given the price of the log (€21.90 for the four-person version, remember), would be the bare minimum... Lopez is a Royan institution, but it's a shame that some employees don't live up to the brand's standards. the company and this damages its image.

29/08/2024: Authenticity and quality! An establishment that is consistent with its location. At the foot of a magnificent castle, this hotel has retained all its charm. The rooms are carefully decorated in theme and very clean. I found a perfect welcome there by hoteliers who seem to love their job. A quality restoration. I recommend without hesitation.

26/08/2024: Excellent endroit cadre somptueux, serveur/se adorables a l'écoute des clients. Service très rapide au top ! Présentation magnifique, plat très bon et goûteux. Les saveurs dans la bouche une explosion ( un feu d'artifice en bouche ).
