20/02/2026: Following a recommendation from a fellow walker, we went into this small, simple but welcoming restaurant. We received a very warm welcome; it was quite busy, but we waited patiently. The meal was excellent; we were pleasantly surprised by the food, everything was delicious. I chose a glass of white wine from the Charentes region, which was excellent—a little dry yet also slightly fruity. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are ever in Rochefort. 05/03/2026: For 34 euros, this restaurant offers a refined and carefully prepared menu. The starter was excellent: butternut squash soup with cream cheese and grilled bacon—a true delight! The main course was quite good, of high quality, but not quite flavorful enough for me; the meat wasn't showcased to its full potential. Finally, at my request to the owner, I was able to have my Dame Blanche (vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce) served in a generous portion with a proper hot chocolate sauce and delicious grilled amakfes (a type of brioche) that looked like they were homemade. It was a real treat; I'll gladly return!

08/04/2026: I'm only giving it a 4-star rating because the Parking + Dinner menu (€17) should also include a drink in addition to water. Otherwise, nothing to complain about. Good facilities, clean and nice-looking, good food, friendly staff. Nothing to complain about...it's worth it.

22/04/2026: A pleasant surprise! The team is very friendly, quick, efficient, and funny! Today's specials: sole for €21 or meagre for €23! The side dishes were delicious. They cook with fresh ingredients here! The dessert selection was a bit limited, but everything was really good! We'll be back!

19/04/2026: We came to this restaurant for a drink, and so far everything was fine. Until I asked for a knife to give a small piece of toasted sandwich to my 17-month-old baby, who was hungry and crying. The waiter told me at that moment that I couldn't feed my baby, that it was forbidden in the restaurant, because if he said yes to me, he should say yes to everyone else, and that it wasn't a picnic area. What kind of inappropriate language is that?! How can you forbid feeding a crying baby? This kind of behavior is shameful and unacceptable! SHAME ON YOU!!!

23/04/2026: Excellent service! I came with my colleague, and even at 10 pm we were served despite the late hour! I loved it and highly recommend it!

22/04/2026: We came as a group a while ago for a going-away party. Two people ordered wine, and after starting to drink it, it turned out to be the wrong one. The waitress was very friendly, exchanged it for the correct wine, and didn't charge for the first wine. That was fair enough, but then we ordered two pizzas, one of which was vegetarian. After eating several slices, we realized there was meat in both. Very disappointed, I called the waitress over to point it out, and she looked me straight in the eye and said, "No, there's no meat." I had even left her some untouched pieces so she could see for herself. She refused to check, kept insisting there was no meat, left, and never came back. I'm very disappointed and shocked by this behavior.
