28/10/2025: A very disappointing experience on a human level. I'm not questioning the quality of the coffee, but the attitude of the staff, particularly one woman present, was simply unacceptable. She started raising her voice and speaking very rudely because my dog ​​had simply sniffed a flowerpot on the terrace—without barking, making a mess, or disturbing anyone in any way. What's most incomprehensible is that there were no other customers present at the time. Nothing justified such a reaction. A simple word spoken calmly, with a modicum of politeness, would have been more than enough: we would have understood without any problem. Instead, the woman flew into a rage, forgetting all forms of respect and courtesy. It's a shame, because a business is also judged on the quality of its service and the human touch it demonstrates.

The owner is great, always smiling and attentive, and the customers who frequent the place create a truly friendly atmosphere. The menus are excellent (indeed, very, very, very excellent 😍) with excellent value for money. You feel good there, you eat very well, and above all, you have a wonderful time. Whether it's for a meal, a drink, or an evening with friends, the atmosphere is fantastic, relaxed, and friendly. A real place to discover and share! 👌 I highly recommend Le Repère in Dax to anyone looking for a good time around good food and a warm atmosphere.

06/03/2026: Over the weekend, we came as a group of six adults for lunch on a Saturday. We hadn't been to this restaurant before… what a great choice!!! A friendly and welcoming team, quick service! And the food… Whether it was the starter, the main course, or the dessert: all EXCELLENT!!! We ate incredibly well, and you can be sure that not one of us left the restaurant hungry! The value for money is unbeatable! Quality ingredients. Outside of peak season, they offer a set menu with a few choices, including meat and fish! There's something for everyone. We were delighted! And we'll definitely be back if we have the chance!

17/04/2026: We had a fantastic evening here. The servers were welcoming and friendly, the food was delicious and plentiful, and the mille-feuille sealed the deal. All this with a sea view, and in the evening you get to enjoy the sunset. A great place to recommend without hesitation! 👍

29/03/2026: Friendly welcome, oriental decor but dated, service a bit unclear. The food was good but definitely not worth the prices (an average of €28 for a plate of couscous). We were expecting refined cuisine, something we weren't used to. The meat was good, as were the vegetables, but very roughly chopped. The sauce was good, but nothing that justifies the price. We were a group of 15, and at the end of the meal, the owner came with a tray of small desserts and asked who wanted some and who wanted tea. We thought it was a small gesture of goodwill, but it wasn't; everything was charged, even the tea. I really don't understand the prices; for me, it's not even worth half. At that price, I'd much rather go to a good bistro in the city center.

21/03/2026: Hello, I stopped for lunch at this couscous restaurant, what a wonderful place! And such a warm welcome! I ordered the Constantine couscous (chicken and merguez sausage). It was amazing! In a setting that allows you to dream a little. The couscous was so generous, all the ingredients were there. Inshallah... The owner and his son were very attentive, thank you.
