23/09/2026: I will never eat at this restaurant; they are not friendly, they are disrespectful, these people should never have opened a restaurant, I do not recommend this restaurant.

19/10/2026: The waiter's attitude was odd. He answered our call at 12:40 when we asked if we could have lunch, only telling us that rillettes were available. Five minutes later, a couple who seemed to be recognized were invited to have lunch inside. Anyway... we'll chalk it up to the fact that it's been a long and difficult season... or maybe not.

09/10/2026: It's a disgrace to serve such inedible food! Steak and tuna with bland, tasteless mashed potatoes and pork tenderloin with butternut squash (a dry, tough dish for an expensive meal!) NEVER AGAIN

24/11/2025: During our November cycling trip, we received a warm welcome at La Table de Meursac. We particularly appreciated the private room reserved for our group of 12, the quality of the service, and the dishes on the weekly menu, all enjoyed in a bright and peaceful setting. Thank you to the entire team. Highly recommended!

20/09/2026: A wonderful discovery during our visit to Île de Ré! 😊 We stopped for a coffee and tried the strawberry tartlet 🍓. It was so good we had a second one 🤤! 😋 The quiche Lorraine was also delicious. The waiter was really pleasant and smiling, as was the lady who was with him. A simple and warm welcome, it's so nice! We had a great time and will gladly return on our next visit to the island. I highly recommend it! ❤️

06/06/2026: We had booked a table for lunch for over 40 people. Excellent welcome, very pleasant, calm, and quiet restaurant. Excellent meal, very attentive staff, and a friendly and welcoming reception. Frankly, all 42 guests were delighted and had nothing but praise. We unanimously recommend this establishment.

02/09/2026: Small campsite restaurant with very welcoming staff. The cuisine is classic, but generally well-prepared, and some dishes were even exceptionally good. Personally, I thoroughly enjoyed an Atlantic salad with mango, scallops, cod loin, and salad greens... everything was fresh, perfectly cooked, and delicious. Absolutely perfect! Satisfactory value for money. I'll definitely be back!

19/10/2026: A calm and welcoming atmosphere, pleasant surroundings near the port. The sun is lovely on the terrace. Excellent service and food! Don't hesitate to stop by.

19/10/2026: Warm service with excellent staff. I went through express and everything was perfect, a truly enjoyable experience. Looking forward to returning for a longer stay.

04/08/2026: Only one checkout was open at 2 PM today, and 20 shopping carts were waiting.

04/08/2026: Appalling long wait for cashier. Only 2 tills open at 13.50hrs on a Tuesday. There were at least 5 or 6 people waiting at each till, most with trolleys full. No attempt made by staff to open any additional tills. They can spend money on increasing the size of the car park but not staff to provide to work on the cash desks. Supervisor walked around no apology. Just seen the prompt reply from Leclerc. I can assure you there were only ever two cash till open plus the self service. Our cashier swapped over whilst we were waiting in the queue, so could their data be misinterpreted and showed that two cash desks were open when there was in reality only one.

08/08/2026: Lots of choices, great prices across the board. Shopping can be a bit complicated, but it's worth the trip.

02/08/2026: You can find almost anything at a good price. Perfect for furnishing your home or just browsing.

29/09/2026: 5 waiters, over an hour and a half to get served our starter. We were the first bunch of customers to be seated. Ordered Tuna x 2.Drinks came in spasms. Never asked if wanted more drinks or dessert at the end. Got told they'd run out of Tuna, sword fish, the Boeuf dish, ended up with steak. And a more expensive meal. Food was ok. Very poor service. Such a shame as so many others looked happy enough. Including the couple next to us that arrived 30mins after us and left after eating a 3 course meal before we had started. And yes I got up and asked the waiters twice, politely if our food was coming. It was like we we're wearing invisibility cloaks. Quite amazing

23/09/2026: Visiting Île de Ré, as we do every September, we once again appreciated the warm welcome and kindness of the team at Bistrot du Marin in Saint Martin, as well as their delicious food and fresh ingredients. We promise, we'll be back. Dominique 64

31/08/2026: Exceptional service. Last day for the waitress as she's a student. She handled over 40 covers single-handedly, cheerfully, and without any waiting. Excellent methodology and organization, and a great memory. Bravo!

26/08/2026: We come to this restaurant every year; the setting is lovely, and we're never disappointed. We're always warmly welcomed, and so is our dog, a Border Collie 😉. The portions are generous and excellent. The desserts are homemade, as are all the dishes, and the fries are real (not frozen). The atmosphere is friendly, and the staff is attentive and caring. We'll gladly come back next year.

30/08/2026: We came for a business trip. Before our arrival, we noticed that the campsite was quite isolated and had very limited phone and internet coverage. Upon arrival, the manager, who was very kind and welcoming, offered us Wi-Fi for €10 for the week. We accepted, but what a disappointment: we couldn't get a decent signal in the mobile home, even with this connection. We went to the swimming pool, but there was another disappointment: the pool wasn't heated. On Saturday morning, when we went to return the keys, we ran into the owner. Unfortunately, we found him very unfriendly. He simply had someone working there tell us to leave the keys inside the mobile home. So we left without even being able to speak to anyone at reception. In short, we do not plan to return and we do not particularly recommend this campsite, which is a shame because the owner is really lovely, welcoming, very kind, but unfortunately this is not enough to compensate for the various disappointments encountered during our stay.

24/08/2026: Very nice campsite, good experience. Very friendly staff. Plenty of fun things to do nearby (donkey farm, Île de la Grenouillette...). No mobile network coverage, good for disconnecting. But once you leave the forest, you get a signal for important calls.
