11/10/2026: Hello, we stopped by last night after the Pink October race and walk in Rochefort. A very warm welcome. They were very accepting of our laughter and jokes. We had a good meal. And thank you again for your patience.

22/06/2026: Booked a room, and haven't noticed that there is no air conditioning. My mistake... But come on, how can you propose rooms without air conditioning, when it is literally +40 outside? That's disrespectful to your guests. Install air conditioning, or block the rooms for booking, when the temperature outside is 30+... Best regards.

09/06/2026: The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. The rooms are clean and well laid out. However, the walls are paper-thin! The room was adjoining another room separated only by an uninsulated door, so daylight streamed in underneath, and the room was cleaned very early… whether you were in the adjoining room or not. The noise level in the common areas inevitably affected the rooms from 7:30 am onwards…

26/08/2026: Very expensive. Fast but unpleasant service.

26/08/2026: Disappointed by the overall wait and the poorly served food... The staff were unprofessional and unhelpful. I ordered the Nutella Supreme ice cream, but it was served with leftover red berries inside my cup. I was outraged and asked for compensation, which was refused outright and in full. I do not recommend it.

26/08/2026: Questionable starter... Fresh vegetables???? Homemade fries were brown, some black: they weren't cooked properly! A shame, because the staff and owner were very friendly!

06/08/2026: We stumbled upon this bar during our vacation, while strolling through the beautiful town of Saint Savinien, and enjoyed spending several evenings there. We were always warmly welcomed. What I particularly liked was the convivial atmosphere; the people are friendly, and you're politely included as a guest. I highly recommend it! We'll definitely be back 😊

21/08/2026: Arrived at 4 pm, a little earlier than usual. After ordering a Grimbergen amber ale for €9.80, I asked the waitress for a plate of oysters. She told me the oyster shucker wouldn't arrive for another hour, even though the menu clearly stated continuous service. As a regular customer, I found the waitress rather unfriendly. I had to pay for my order immediately upon receiving it. No special treatment for regulars. Yet, this establishment, ideally located opposite the entrance to the Gironde estuary, offers a magnificent setting. It's a shame the friendliness and service weren't up to par. So, I'll go and enjoy some oysters at Viviers Charentais in Saint-Palais, where a dozen is €8 cheaper than here.

16/08/2026: Terrible welcome, the waitress was incredibly unpleasant, no thanks, and a casual, nonchalant attitude. Unacceptable! It's a shame because the setting is lovely.

28/09/2026: It's a shame, because the waiter was really great! Unfortunately, the experience was ruined by the owner's attitude. I ordered a freshly squeezed orange juice and ended up with juice cut with Tropicana. When I pointed this out, the owner was immediately unpleasant. I had to insist before he finally admitted to the practice, while explaining that "you couldn't taste it" and that at the price he was charging for his freshly squeezed orange juice, I shouldn't complain! The icing on the cake: when I asked for it to be remade without the artificial juice, he told me I would have to pay for the second glass. In short, they serve a product that doesn't match what was advertised, and the customer has to pay to get what they ordered… It's absurd! He finally agreed to serve me a real freshly squeezed orange juice, but without the slightest apology. I know this establishment, and it's all the more disappointing because the waiter is genuinely friendly and professional. But there's a huge difference between a top-notch waiter and an owner who talks down to customers when you point out a problem. Just a reminder: freshly squeezed orange juice is freshly squeezed orange juice, not watered-down Tropicana. And respect for the customer should never be optional.

05/05/2026: A very good Michelin-starred restaurant. The tasting menu was delicious and very reasonably priced. We received a very warm welcome and the service was impeccable. The intimate atmosphere was perfect for enjoying the dishes, amuse-bouches, and other petits fours. I highly recommend this restaurant. It's a shame the restaurant has been permanently closed since the beginning of the year ☹️

03/07/2026: An excellent place! The kebabs are truly delicious and the quality is always top-notch. The only slight drawback is that the portion size can sometimes be a little small depending on the day, but the exceptional taste more than makes up for it. I highly recommend it!

02/10/2026: A really nice of detail in the food that the mouth creates a good celebration. If you look at the food it shows quality and the extra touch from the lovely lady how served it.
