15/05/2026: We spent 5 nights in this famous hotel. We were well received, but they did not warn us about room cleaning and left the door wide open and unattended, with all our belongings visible to everyone. And of course, we had a theft, which they claim is not their responsibility, so be careful not to bring back valuables.

21/08/2026: We ate there today. A burger with fries and a steak. The fries were hard and the burger meat was undercooked. Not recommended.

18/08/2026: This is our second day here and we love it! One of the few campsites with more tent pitches than mobile homes! A peaceful and relaxing campsite with the beach just 100m away, fantastic! 👍 It's not a state-of-the-art campsite, but it still has everything you need for a great stay. I especially liked the built-in barbecues for grilling – very rare in a campsite. Don't rely on negative Google reviews, make up your own mind! 👍

06/03/2026: Over the weekend, we came as a group of six adults for lunch on a Saturday. We hadn't been to this restaurant before… what a great choice!!! A friendly and welcoming team, quick service! And the food… Whether it was the starter, the main course, or the dessert: all EXCELLENT!!! We ate incredibly well, and you can be sure that not one of us left the restaurant hungry! The value for money is unbeatable! Quality ingredients. Outside of peak season, they offer a set menu with a few choices, including meat and fish! There's something for everyone. We were delighted! And we'll definitely be back if we have the chance!

17/09/2026: We discovered a welcoming restaurant opposite the towers of La Rochelle. The waiters were incredibly friendly, and the food (the mussels) was excellent! We'll be delighted to come back for another meal!

15/09/2026: Beyond terrible unfortunately. The hostess was clearly annoyed by the customers when she almost smashed the aperol spritz glass on the table. The service was rude and hasty and inefficient. It really seems like they want your money even though we saw a lot of people waiting for 20 minutes only to order drinks... If I were you, go to Cafe Leffe. Its friendly, it's good and you will have a great time unlike we had in here

06/09/2026: What a disgrace! Going to eat in a casino and not having air conditioning. We're all sweating, servers included. Everyone's fanning themselves with their napkins. It's just shameful.

06/09/2026: A fun experience at the restaurant and the games room, where the selection of machines is better than elsewhere! Only the service at the till and bar was a bit lacking. But hey, everyone has their off day!

13/09/2026: We spent the day at Antilles de Jonzac and booked two 1.5-hour couples massages – simply fantastic, nothing to complain about. The welcome was superb, both at the main reception and in the beauty area. The staff were very pleasant and smiling, and for our first massage experience, it was a delight. We will be back at least once a year. I highly recommend it. Mr. and Mrs. Marion.

13/09/2026: The setting is beautiful. However, I was disappointed that there were no discounts for people with disabilities, and the pool water was cold. The lifeguards didn't respond to greetings. The cashiers were friendly.

16/08/2026: Perfect!! Generous portions (for parents and children), they cater to people with allergies, always a smile, quality homemade food. Top-notch!!

The welcome and the waitresses were so friendly and welcoming, the service was impeccable 👍, the menus and the taste were excellent, especially the supreme burger 😍, a beautiful setting in the city center opposite the church with a little entertainment – ​​what more could you ask for? 21/08/2026: The food was good, but the pricing was unclear and the server didn't know the prices, which was a shame. However, what bothered me most was when a waitress picked up a piece of a sandwich that had fallen and ate it in front of the other customers. I find this behavior unacceptable, both in terms of hygiene and professionalism towards customers. Quite disappointed with this experience.

19/08/2026: Excellent bakery and pastry shop, but the legislation regarding the presence of animals is not respected at all in the establishment located in La Flotte.

20/08/2026: The name of this brasserie really needs to be reconsidered given the extremely unpleasant welcome and the borderline misogynistic attitude of the waiter, the man with glasses. I left without even ordering. Avoid at all costs!!!

18/08/2026: Stopped in on a Tuesday at lunchtime (1:20 pm) in August. We were very happy to find a table here. It was busy, with servers moving efficiently. Large trays piled high with plates arrived at the customers' tables. We opted for the set menu: affordable, fresh, colorful, and delicious (kudos to the chefs!). The children's menus were varied and as well-presented as the adults' meals. Yes, the dining room was noisy due to the crowds, but this didn't affect the service; the wait was reasonable. The servers were attentive despite being asked for our food. For a place we stumbled upon by chance, while passing by, we were delighted with the welcome and the meal. I recommend it. Best wishes for the rest of the season to the whole team.

16/08/2026: The seafood sauerkraut was very good. The meat was tender. I recommend this restaurant; the staff is pleasant.

06/08/2026: A little disappointed with the food. Fortunately, the service was excellent, no complaints there—friendly and, above all, understanding. The atmosphere lost a point because we were at the far end, so people were practically walking right over us.

07/09/2026: A fantastic meal by the water. A truly relaxing experience. We started with a seafood platter as an appetizer, paired with a Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil rosé, followed by a fish stew on a bed of mashed potatoes (tuna, sea bass fillet, and mussels), and for dessert, a fig tiramisu. Coffee. All for 76 euros for two. Honestly, excellent value for money. Kudos to the staff at this establishment.

From the moment we arrived, the magic was palpable: a gentle waitress had thought of us even before we got there, sensing how comfortable we would both be in this enchanting setting, our table set facing the harbor in the breathtaking late afternoon light. This is true luxury. The appetizers set the tone: flavorful baby squid with chorizo, delicate fried smelts enhanced by an absolutely divine homemade béarnaise sauce. Freshness and deliciousness from the very first bite. And then came the main course, and wow, it was a revelation. A duo of locally caught fish that literally melted in the mouth, accompanied by ratatouille, homemade mashed potatoes and sweet potato purée, crispy onions, and a perfectly balanced lemon sauce. Every texture, every flavor interacted with the others without ever overpowering the rest. It was a thoughtful, expertly crafted, and truly inspired dish. The dessert sealed the deal: a sumptuous French toast, topped with homemade crème anglaise and caramel. A pure moment of indulgence. Mornac-sur-Seudre is a village of artists, painters, potters... But tonight, we discovered that the most moving art was found on a plate. Behind these dishes, a chef and her kitchen partner meticulously craft each flavor combination with rare precision, and in the dining room, a truly delicate touch. Thank you for your passion for your craft. An address you absolutely must experience.

12/08/2026: 202607 Great! You can get a round platter here to go into the market and buy seafood to eat! We ordered cream and bread, juice and a glass of wine to go with our oyster platter. I love Laro!

09/08/2026: I strongly advise against going there. We ate next to the owner's table, and he shouts and speaks extremely rudely to his employees throughout the restaurant. He also gave us a dirty look and spoke rudely to us. The waitress, however, was very professional and efficient! Unfortunately, when it came time to pay for the table and our drinks, the bill wasn't recorded, so we had to repeat everything!
