The cuisine to die for was real magic, the soufflé wowaaaa crazy, it was so excellent
In short it was great

21/10/2024: One night in a triple room. Top: the single bed is in a separate room. Pleasant breakfast with sweet and savory options. Delicious restaurant but service a little too formal. Pleasant team.
19/10/2024: Autant le restaurant est super, on a très bien mangé ! Les prix sont un peu élevés. Quand à l'hôtel..... que dire ! Notre chambre était très petite, pas la place de tourner et la salle de bain une horreur ! Si petite qu'on avait du mal à rentrer dans la douche !!!! Le petit déjeuner est très banal.

15/08/2024: No starters, because there are only 4 hearty main courses: Cod à la Chaucrine, Cuttlefish à la Charentaise (but with bacon...), Cassoulet de la mer,
and Blanquette de la mer.

23/10/2024: Pause déjeuner très sympathique sur la terrasse très agréable de ce restaurant . nous y sommes allés à plusieurs reprises , et à chaque fois c'est le même plaisir . On est très bien reçus et on y mange très bien .
12/10/2024: Bonne petite table pour une pause au milieu d’une ballade à vélo . Carte variée, service authentique, simple et bon.

22/08/2024: Très bonne surprise en découvrant ce restaurant pour un prix très abordable entrée,plat,fromage dessert,vin et café compris pour 16€ allez trouver mieux!Un accueil très jovial des serveuses est la cerise sur le gâteau nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir très prochainement.Un peu bruyant mais acceptable.
31/07/2024: An incredible welcome: we arrive on bicycles dying of heat, immediately cold water on the table waiting for us on the terrace, a buffet of very fresh raw vegetables, hot dishes, a good dessert, a very cold rosé and a coffee all this for 16€! And in addition the very spontaneous authorization to take a bike (blocked battery) on the terrace to recharge it. Perfect 👌

01/10/2024: Absolutely not up to its reputation! Deplorable welcome, young waiters who were adorable but completely lost, pizza with non-existent toppings and a lot of dough, frozen fries cooked and recooked: they were brown! Cold fish (frozen?), club sandwich with sour salad and really too much mayonnaise: disgusting...getting a carafe of water is a cross!
Finally we are asked to pay quickly and leave because the table is reserved.
We often came during our holidays but the service, welcome and cuisine have gone down a lot, however the bill has gone up a lot! We won't come again despite the view.
01/10/2024: I leave the rating of 4 because the cocktails need to be reviewed. We tested two cocktails, the caipirinha and the Moscow mule.
The caipirinha became drinkable after mixing the ingredients well and crushing the lime.
Then we went inside (tapas side) and I wanted to try the Moscow mule. It was a big disappointment because there was no taste and the main ingredient was ice cubes.
On the other hand, the tapas we ordered were good.
It’s a shame to offer cocktails and be stingy with the ingredients that make them tasty.

Dos de lieu bien cuisiné et belle présentation, bon cuisinier, personnel sympathique.
Par contre addition assez salée pour ce repas comparativement a un autre dans la même commune où nous avions été la veille.
13/09/2024: Superb, very interesting food. I kept asking what the ingredients were (!) and they were very happy to talk about their food. Realy friendly staff. A nice, classy restaurant. All at a reasonable price. Can't wait to go back.

05/08/2024: Nous avons bien dîné dans cet élégant restaurant, le service était excellent, le serveur souriant et efficace. La carte est à l'avenant, les produits sont frais et délicieusement cuisinés. Mais sans être de grands mangeurs, nous aurions apprécié un peu plus d'accompagnement, les légumes sont servis en très faible quantité.

They serve delicious lunch dishes that not only taste great, but the presentation is also excellent.
Smooth and modest service from the host and hostess.
We have been traveling through France for a month now 🇫🇷 from Alsace to Brittany and have had lunch in the French country several times.
This lunch (3 courses for 20.50 euros) in Restaurant Le Jonzacais was great!
There is a bar, an outdoor terrace and an indoor restaurant.
Everything looks attractive and inviting.
Compliments to the chef!
