06/08/2026: The saleswoman hands us the sandwiches without gloves, the prices are not displayed anywhere, it seems the price depends on the customer, there is no label indicating the ingredients of the sandwiches, we have to guess, and the saleswoman is unable to give us a detailed receipt....

17/07/2026: Very disappointed... I went there after an appointment, and the waitress served me without gloves or tongs, using only her bare hands with a delicacy that disgusted me! I didn't dare say anything for fear of causing a scene! So I threw my purchases in the trash on my way out! I won't be going back!

31/08/2026: The owner was incredibly unpleasant. We were having a quiet and discreet drink, and she criticized us for eating our beer with a bit of our own bread! She told us we should have left with our beers in cups! The establishment already had a terrible reputation, but now it's truly HORRIBLE. RUN AWAY! Don't even think about stopping there.

27/08/2026: Lunch for 4. The servers were excellent. The owner was disrespectful and grumpy with her staff, which caused stress for the servers. Hygiene needs improvement throughout the establishment. The meal was decent nonetheless.

25/05/2026: Excellent value for money, generous and delicious portions, top-notch staff (a rarity these days), very good desserts, and the rum baba (the authentic recipe) was superb! Bravo!

25/05/2026: This review applies to the restaurant only. The service was unfriendly, and the quality was very questionable. Be prepared to wait, especially at the start of peak season, as we waited almost half an hour for a carafe of water (in 34-degree heat, that's really pushing it) and a burger that wasn't cooked properly. Our food was lukewarm, and judging by the burger bun and the frozen fries, which were as hard as a rock, you have to wonder if the plates hadn't cooled down somewhere before reaching our table... I want to emphasize the desperately long wait; our neighbors had to help themselves to salt from another table that hadn't been cleared yet. We even shared our sauces with them because they were forgotten. The only good point is that the portions weren't too large or too small, but overall it's really very average, and the numerous Routard awards it has received in the past don't guarantee the current quality.

06/09/2026: Thankfully, the view is magnificent! We were served quickly. I ordered the 2 x 100g burgers for €21 from the menu. I was given a choice of how I wanted them cooked, and I asked for rare. On my plate were two burger patties, frozen and therefore much overcooked and tough. We ordered a carafe of Charentais wine, which came with ice cubes. My husband's €28 set menu was decent.

10/08/2026: We received a very warm welcome from the owner and her daughter. We ordered two salads and a medium portion of fries to eat by the sea and thoroughly enjoyed the fresh, high-quality ingredients. The owner, Estelle, is incredibly generous and readily recommended other restaurants in Cayeux. She clearly loves her town!

10/08/2026: Unpleasant staff, outdated answering machine, open Wednesday to Saturday, impossible to order on-site, probably too many tourists for them to be polite and respectful. I don't recommend it if you're saving your smile for the evening.

09/09/2026: It's a shame I have to give one star because this establishment and its staff don't deserve it. Seated on the terrace, we ordered a snack, but when it came time to pay, we were firmly informed that the card wasn't accepted for orders under €10, without any prior notice. Their suggestion: order something else?! I'll let you be the judge of their methods! It's a shame that such practices, and especially the staff's attitude, tarnish the island's image.

02/09/2026: So, unfortunately, we're joining the ranks of the previous negative reviews, and they deserve it. The waitress and the person behind the bar forcefully, with a level of aggression bordering on verbal abuse, insist on paying in cash for two coffees because they only accept cash for amounts under €10. This forces you to ask someone else to pay by running off to find an ATM. This is typical of a tourist trap; if you don't want tourists, you should behave like them. It's a shame for this beautiful island, and thankfully not all businesses are so unpleasant. We absolutely do not recommend it.

29/08/2026: I'm talking about the nightclub, not the restaurant: The welcome was about as pleasant as getting your teeth pulled without anesthesia... The bouncers were about as friendly as a prison door... A real treat... Luckily we were with someone, because paying €60 and being received like that on your first visit is a bit of a turn-off.

28/08/2026: The restaurant is amazing. But the nightclub section really leaves something to be desired. Dirty restrooms. Excessively expensive cocktails that aren't very good. And as for the music, I wondered if it was a DJ or a jukebox providing the entertainment.

06/04/2026: Dish of the day €12, a free-range chicken with fries, very well served. I'll be back.

19/08/2026: A very nice restaurant. The galettes are very large and beautifully presented on a plate. The quality/price ratio is reasonable for such a touristy area. And they have very good omelets for those who don't like galettes. The service is decent; the manager is admittedly a bit rough around the edges but remains friendly and has a good sense of humor. One point for improvement: the toilet seat needs replacing. But given how busy it is...

13/06/2026: The service on the terrace was terrible. The service was catastrophic, and the staff's friendliness needs improvement—they were a bit selfish and rushed. And the cocktails! Don't even get me started. It's a disgrace to offer such bad cocktails! They shouldn't even have them on the menu if that's what they're going to serve. Lunch was a disaster—very cold, and the salmon with rice was served with just water. The salmon and rice dish was watery and truly disgusting, and the salmon was overcooked and unappetizing. The entire service, including the meals, needs to be reviewed. The potatoes were undercooked, and there was a lack of sauce and spices. It had no flavor. Etc., etc. Never again.
