07/09/2024: Excellent ! The waiters are full of humor, the food is very good, excellent value for money, and finally, wide and spaced tables where you are not literally stuck to your neighbor. I recommend.

04/09/2024: Superb welcome despite the rain, we were offered a blanket and very warm service. Good food, plentiful and not very expensive. Perfect !

12/10/2024: How to say… What a loss in quality compared to the previous owners… In terms of the kitchen, nothing to complain about for the entrance. On the other hand, for the main courses, the mosquitoes enjoyed us much more than we enjoyed our dishes. Cooking problem on my dish (overcooked on top, cold in certain places), accompaniment also at room temperature in the room. For my partner's dish, the cooking was good, but the accompaniment was far from being tastefully acceptable for the price paid. In terms of service, nothing to complain about the reception in the room, but coming back 3 times to encourage customers to refill their drinks borders on harassment. Finally, about the atmosphere…. What can we say about an almost empty room, where there are no more bedbugs (around twenty (having had time to count during the 20 minutes of waiting between the end of the starter and the arrival of the main courses) as many customers at the table (9, counting us. I can also add the 4 flies that came and went between our table and that of our neighbors, and the ear clip at our feet. The view is not bad too, with a pile of mess behind the bar, with tables, chairs and the like, all exposed for everyone to see. And to enhance it all, a background sound ranging from oriental restaurant music to rave party techno…. I was told that it had lost value since the previous owners sold their restaurant, well I didn't think the fall was so brutal...

27/08/2024: Pleasant 3-night stay in the Primavéra hotel, ideally located a few steps from the Flyin Club festival; discovery of Saint Palais and the Primavera hotel thanks to this event which for the second year delivered incredible concerts (big names, such as Etienne de Crecy or Kavinsky (see Photo), notably present during the ceremony closing of the 2024 Olympics!) and a great atmosphere. What a joy to enjoy such a setting, coupled with a festival that brings youth and dynamism to the city! Regarding the room, sublime view but somewhat outdated equipment for the price. The elevator could do with a little overhaul, we could hear the door creaking/slamming every time someone used the elevator. Very kind staff, who listened to our requests. I also strongly recommend the rooms with a sea view, however it seems to me that without this argument I would not return to the Primavera hotel given the dilapidation of the building. To conclude, magnificent potential (a place full of history) but unfortunately too many things to improve. We look forward to coming back to see you for the next edition of the Flyin Club! 29/06/2024: Very unfriendly service. As a nice group, we were immediately rejected for no reason! When we asked if we could put an extra chair at the table, we received a cheeky and unprofessional answer. No recommendation!

15/09/2024: Superbe restaurant, la cuisine est excellente faite avec des produits frais par le couple de patron. La serveuse est très sympa, très aimable et à beaucoup d'humour. Nous étions 4, je vous recommande la pièce de bœuf, accompagné de ses frites faite maison, sa sauce à l'échalotte et sa salade, ainsi que que le camembert rôti, accompagné de frites aussi, salade et jambon de pays. Un vrai régale. Je vous recommande se resto. Je vous conseil de réserver à l'avance.

05/09/2024: Good food, very friendly and attentive waitress, but a small downside, my wife and I took 2 menus at €18 displayed plus a soft drink at €4, so total €40, but the bill came to 42€. I have the impression that the 5.5% VAT on the menus was added at the end, is this normal and regulatory?

04/11/2024: Too expensive for what it is! Beware of the tourist trap hiding behind the false label “market products”. Gloomy room, set at a table in a corner at the exit of the kitchen next to a storage room. I took a menu from the market and I was hungry afterwards. My friend took a menu for 30 euros to which we added 4.5 extra!!! 35 euros for a starter and a main course at lunchtime, and being hungry afterwards is not normal! The bottle of sparkling water was flat, it had no bubbles; and no matter how much we say it, we haven't considered our return. In short, we had the impression of being a nuisance when we left more than 60 euros for two at lunchtime!! Brief. Avoid!

15/09/2024: Restaurant très bien situé. Nous étions 6 personnes : addition 300 euros … 2 planches de la mer sans bulots ni terrine de la mer comme indiqué sur la carte. Nous avons dû réclamer plusieurs fois les boissons commandées, le pain, carafe d eau et même un dessert oublié. Enfin déçu par ce restaurant malgré cette journée ensoleillée et cette vue sur la mer et le pont de l île de ré.

02/09/2024: J'ai plusieurs fois fréquenté cet établissement où la cuisine était parfaite, dimanche 1/9/2024, les plats servis sont insipides : pâtes aux palourdes à l'eau et sans goût. J'ai mentionné mon insatisfaction à la serveuse et aucun geste commercial n'a été proposé juste des excuses. On m'a confirmé que le cuisinier avait changé après mes remarques. Le bilan : plus jamais et je ne conseillerai jamais ce restaurant devenu un très bas de gamme sauf pour les prix. Heureusement personne n'est tombé malade, juste une chose de positif le vin n'a pas changé.

26/09/2024: The children's room had a problem in the bathroom, it had to be condemned, but the hotel did something and offered us the aperitifs from the day before. Very smiling and friendly staff, thank you that feels good. Be careful not to arrive too late to reserve the restaurant otherwise you risk not having everything on the menu.

25/09/2024: Very nice establishment, very close to the wild coast...the rooms are large. The hotel is quiet. The service is very good. The impeccable restaurant. The only downside is that the pool jets are almost all out of service. But that doesn't take away from the 5 stars I've given it.

28/08/2024: Seafood lovers, this place is for you! If the mussels and oysters are of course worth the detour, the same goes for the homemade dessert: Charentaise galette with cognac. A faultless dinner, from the meal to the atmosphere, everything is there! The real plus of the place? Enjoy the sunset over the salt marshes. Reservation essential!
