06/09/2024: We've been coming for years. I have never eaten the same thing twice. It's delicious and inexpensive. You pay 18 euros for the soup, a starter, a main course, dessert, wine and coffee. The boss, chef, will take you on a journey through your taste buds. Always a lot of people. Always a pleasure. See you soon.

02/08/2024: We were in the area for a week’s holiday and ate here twice as we enjoyed it so much. A small but varied menu, that is excellent value for money with delicious dishes from the local area. A beautiful setting for a restaurant with outdoor seating amongst traditional architecture and countryside views.

27/08/2024: Belle adresse si vous cherchez un hôtel tranquille au coeur d'un beau village. Cet établissement est aussi un bar où vous pourrez profiter de repas de type snack, tout à fait corrects et d'un rapport qualité/prix imbattable. Les chambres sont propres et bien équipées. Parkings gratuits à coté.

25/09/2024: The staff is very friendly but the menu is more than limited. If you want a snack they can only offer you platters of cold meats or cheese with possibly an ice cream!

02/09/2024: We stayed there the night of August 24-25, 2024 in room 7. When booking we knew that this room was a triple room but at the price of a double. THANKS. Spacious, clean room with good bedding. The hotel is quiet, well located by the river and a stone's throw from the castles (2) of Bourdeilles (a must-visit). Small, pleasant swimming pool too. Possibility of parking also. The welcome is friendly and professional. Very good catering (around 140 euros for 2 with aperitif, main course, dessert and glass of wine). The price of breakfast is perhaps a little high (16 euros). I recommend this hotel for its calm (far from the hustle and bustle of Brantôme), its location and its catering.

15/08/2024: Sommes passés au clos des Elfes déjà visité quelques années auparavant , coin toujours aussi bucolique et merveilleux, cuisine non gastronomique mais délicieuse et copieuse. Très bonne omelette aux cèpes , délicieux magret bien rosé avec pommes salardaises , tout ceci à un prix compétitif, continuez le bonheur est aussi dans l’assiette et la gentillesse du personnel.

28/09/2024: Pour la deuxième année, tout à été parfait... aussi bien le confort des chambres et le linge (j'ai également beaucoup apprécié les couchages pour mes chiennes) que la nourriture (produits locaux, frais et de qualité). Merci encore à M. PALLIER et à Mme ROBERTS ainsi qu'à leur personnel pour leur accueil et leur disponibilité. Le petit mot de bienvenue a également été fort apprécié...

27/08/2024: Magnifique lieu de séjour et de repos, chambre superbe, accueil et service chaleureux, restauration de qualité. On reviendra !!

15/08/2024: Très très bonne surprise, très bien accueilli et une cuisine simple mais avec de très bons ingrédients, le riz est excellent,. Ce n’est vraiment pas cher. Même la carte de vin est très accessible. L’endroit est dans son jus mais très bien entretenu. Pour les curieux, je conseille le cocktail maison.

12/06/2024: Fantastic restaurant with delightful rear courtyard. Great service and delicious food. A little gem, well worth a visit. Can't comment on hotel as we didn't stay but if as good as restaurant then you won't be dissapointed.
