14/09/2024: Après la balade jusqu'au château nous avons apprécié cette halte dans votre restaurant personnel très agréable nous avons très bien mangé. La salade périgourdine était copieuse et bonne. Je recommande.

13/09/2024: assiette anchaud, salade crudités/frites 2expressos,deux café liégeois 1/4pécharmant un verre de rosé 58.30E,personnel très sympa, la cuisine est bonne.

25/12/2025: We stumbled upon this establishment while looking for a restaurant for dinner with our daughters on December 24th. What a delightful surprise it was to discover this welcoming place! The exceptional menu delighted us. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The prices were very reasonable. In short, everything was perfect, we will be back!

13/12/2025: A truly wonderful experience, just a quick visit to the restaurant. Incredible dishes, full of flavor and perfectly portioned. Relaxed (with a touch of humor) yet very professional service. Delightful little surprises throughout the meal and a good wine list. Very reasonable prices for such quality. We'll definitely be back.

10/11/2025: What sets this hotel apart is the great staff and the excellent rooms. The staff go out of their way make guests happy and comfortable. It’s the little things like remembering our names and our morning coffee preferences. When we couldn’t get the tv working, they sent several people until it was fixed. Breakfast was also a highlight with abundant selections of everything. We ate one dinner and the meals were very good. Do visit the history museum and the nearby caves, Combarelles and Font du Gaume.

16/09/2025: Great location but more client service in resturant those that are staying. Beds need looking at. Liked · Location was perfect! Beautiful views! 🥰 Disliked · Unfortunately we were eaten by bed bugs. Bed was very hard. We wanted to have dinner and a drink and wanted to support the hotel restaurant but it was too early for dinner and just wanted a drink. We were told only dinner at that time. We went off to another bar and returned for dinner to see other tables were just having drinks!!. At that point we went elsewhere for dinner. The wifi did not work for the entire stay.

02/01/2026: There were 10 of us. We showed up without a reservation on December 31st at 1 p.m.! We received a very warm welcome and had a delicious meal (excellent food). We will gladly return and highly recommend it.

06/08/2024: Un dimanche soir, sans avoir réservé et pourtant, on nous a trouvé gentiment une table très bien placée. C'est bon et copieux. Le foie gras est très bien préparé. La vue est incroyable. Soleil couchant sur le Dordogne. Nous recommandons.

04/08/2024: Nous avons déjeuné dans ce restaurant avec une magnifique vue . Lee sevice était rapide et efficace Bon rapport qualité prix avec des produits locaux ( environ 30 E pour 2 plats et une eau pétillante ), plats copieux. Je recommande

29/09/2024: Very warm and friendly welcome!! We appreciated the little touches during the aperitif and coffee. Local products and cooked with passion. Too bad, we live too far away to come back but we highly recommend it!

05/08/2024: Quiet hotel by the river. The boss and staff are very pleasant and welcoming. Possibility of dining in the evening by the water as well as in the morning at breakfast. Pleasant stay, I recommend this establishment without any problem 👍

08/07/2024: L’endroit parfait pour un dîner dans un cadre romantique, sous la forme de planches à déguster, véritable produits locaux. Dans le cas où vous n'auriez plus faim, pas de soucis, on vous propose la boite à emporter. Nous vous recommandons ce lieu absolument.

29/10/2024: We stopped by, to have a drink on the terrace, a half 25cl (single beer) €3.50, a small orange juice (plastic bottle), €4. We find the price excessive, okay it's summer, but still...

19/10/2024: Be vary wary of this establishment - the Trip Advisor star ratings mostly pre-date the change of management. Although the restaurant looks quite cute, it is obvious that the current management are either clueless, or skirt around environmental rules and legislation to do things at minimum cost. The noisy and highly odoriferous extractor system has recently been installed on the cheap and without the necessary authorisations, at the detriment of local neighbours and the charming village square. Bags of fly-tipped rubbish are left on the lane by the side door overnight, an attraction to vermin and an eyesore. If these highly visible problems are evident to a client stopping by from time to time for a drink, just imagine what hygiene rules and regulations may be compromised behind the closed doors of the kitchen!
