Room 16 was located in the annex.
Mold is present everywhere, in the shower as well as in the room.
The wallpaper is peeling off everywhere.
The sofa is covered in stains.
In addition, the sheets were not changed during our stay.
On Monday, no room or breakfast service was provided.
The wardrobe smelled musty
Our things smelled of rot there.
Very negative reception with obligation to pay upon arrival.
Hotel to avoid.
Only the person serving breakfast and providing room service lived up to our expectations.

I do not recommend this establishment. Really unpleasant welcome

10/09/2024: Like previous reviews, the owner is not the most hospitable person you can encounter. The other young woman serving, on the other hand, was very friendly. The interior is somewhat old-fashioned, but that makes it nice. Absolutely good food and highly recommended.

17/09/2024: Located just 15 minutes from our accommodation and well worth the visit. The best food we’ve had in Sarlat!
Really lovely waitress, extremely helpful and helped us translate, which really helped the menu choices.
13/09/2024: My group of friends are a challenge for any restaurant as there are 11 of us. One is GF and another is lactose and alcohol intolerant so finding a place to accommodate us all with fantastic food at affordable prices was fantastic. Set menu of 3 courses €26.50 or €35.50 and good sized portions too.
The service was great with all our food arriving together on HOT plates (where appropriate) which was surprising as they also had a party of 24 eating there from a local hotel.
The added bonus was it was less than 5 minutes walk from the villa.
Some of the group are wine buffs and the wine list met their expectations too.
It was so good we went there twice!

16/07/2024: We stopped by this restaurant this afternoon by chance and we were pleasantly surprised. Seeing the starter buffet (all you can eat) I found that it was a little lacking in choice but in the end it was more than enough and the whole family found something to enjoy. The products are quality and very well cooked. Guinea fowl with macaroni gratin for me (my photo unfortunately does not highlight the dish). Good welcome and a accommodating waiter with my daughters who only wanted pasta, even if in the end the little one ate half of my meat!
