25/08/2026: A disaster... The service was appalling. The owner/waitress made inappropriate remarks to customers, and it quickly became clear that she didn't like it when things didn't go her way.
The least one can do when running a business is to know when to stop when things aren't going well. The food needs improvement; the ingredients are low-quality and the presentation is nonexistent.
In short, I won't be going back.

18/09/2026: Superb bistro-style restaurant. Open for lunch only. Set menu (starter, main, dessert) for €35.
Alternatively, you can find frog legs, calf's liver, matured ribeye steak for two, etc. We had zucchini cannelloni with hake (from the set menu), which was superb (the fish was cooked to a coral-like texture 😋). It's located in an unexpected spot, near the A7 motorway and Valence. (There's also a terrace.)
And above all, they have a fantastic selection of wines from renowned estates, in superb vintages (10 to 20 years old, no problem!), at great prices for true enthusiasts (unlimited wine list) and at normal prices for those who prefer fine labels 😉. If you're heading south via the A7 and you don't stop by for lunch, you're missing out!

26/08/2026: I came today with a friend. The meal was incredible. The service was perfect, the person was kind and smiling. What more could you ask for? The Italian salad I ordered was generously topped and excellent. The chestnut cream dessert? Perfect. And very affordable. A very good experience. No regrets.

18/09/2026: We ordered the summer salads and desserts. Everything was delicious, and the waiter was very pleasant. We had a wonderful time.
15/09/2026: A very good meat platter; the tartar sauce was good, but the other sauces didn't complement the meat offered. The beef bourguignon was a tad too salty, even though the sauce was delicious.
I ordered a cocktail that was far too sweet and full of raspberry seeds 😵💫 I asked for more wine, but they added lemon instead.
The waiter also forgot to offer us bread with our platter, but that's because they were out of it 😅
Otherwise, a peaceful setting under the parasols. I'll definitely go back to have a fire pit; I can't wait! 😋

11/02/2026: Passing through Montélimar on numerous occasions, I never fail to stop at the "Brasserie des Négociants." The management and staff are particularly welcoming, professional, and kind. While the establishment maintains rigorous hygiene standards, I was taken aback by a comment I read... perhaps the author should verify the accuracy of their statements and check their sources more thoroughly.
Without hesitation, I give this establishment 5/5, both for its warm welcome, the professionalism of the management and staff, and the absolutely impeccable hygiene.

21/06/2026: This was our second time here. And once again, a wonderful stay.
The room was small but well-designed and offered a magnificent view of the Isère River.
The food on the terrace was excellent in the evenings. It couldn't be better, especially if you appreciate a relaxed atmosphere. No fuss, no service that thinks it's better than the guest, etc. Simply pleasant and relaxing.
Unfortunately, due to a knee injury, I could barely walk, so I was kindly driven almost right up to the terrace. Thank you for this kindness!
We'll definitely be back!

02/10/2026: Bar Les Passions is the perfect place to have a great time. The atmosphere is incredibly friendly, the welcome is warm, and you immediately feel at ease, like you're at home.
The drinks are excellent, and the shaded terrace and the lively evening atmosphere really enhance the experience. It's the ideal spot for drinks with friends or simply relaxing. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

The breakfast was absolutely delicious; there wasn't too much, but everything was made with fresh products.
And the rooms were absolutely fantastic. I arrived late in the evening with my wife and 6-year-old son. I was very pleasantly surprised by the layout and the tasteful decor. It was spotless, and the bathroom was really nice.
