19/12/2025: Top-notch restaurant! A great meal for hikers. We enjoyed a Landes salad, unlimited frogs' legs (always perfectly cooked and piping hot), a superb vegetable dish, cheese, and dessert in a very pleasant atmosphere. The waitresses were incredibly friendly, and the owner was fantastic.
We were even able to bring an extra dessert to celebrate a birthday.
Everything was perfect, as always, and we will definitely be back.
A big thank you to this inn and all the staff!

11/10/2025: Sometimes the simplest pleasures are the best! Everything is simple in this restaurant: the welcome from the owner, the smile from the owner, the deliciously prepared dishes, the rustic and warm setting.
A place you'd want to keep to yourself.

22/04/2026: A simple smoke on a terrace and I'm subjected to a civics lesson from a woman on French laws and CBD consumption. She wanted to debate the topic, while I just wanted to enjoy my drink, which I had to take away. There was absolutely no tact in her contradictory remarks, because just before, when I asked if I could smoke, I was told it was hidden from the main market square and that I could... long live the URSSAF (French social security agency).

The spritz was anything but a spritz—nothing fizzy at all.
You're on your own with the wine tasting!! They just put it on the table.
The beef 🐂 was just a fattened chuck roast. Once, but never again.

06/05/2026: The boss has trouble saying hello, which is disappointing. One of the younger waitresses isn't very friendly, but the new saleswoman is great.

02/02/2026: We were just passing through, having stumbled in because there aren't many restaurants open in the area on a Saturday night, and our meal was very pleasant. The service was friendly and courteous, the food delicious, and the prices fair. Unfortunately, no photo of the delicious cream soup that we devoured in record time! 😄 The coq au vin and the brie burger were also very good.
