31/08/2026: We simply wanted to order coffees, which would have taken about 5-10 minutes. The restaurant was almost empty; we wouldn't have been taking a seat away from anyone who might have been dining. Despite this, we weren't served coffee. An unfriendly waiter with a mustache, who presumably spoke no language other than French, just kept saying, "Restaurant! Restaurant! Restaurant!" Is this supposed to be French hospitality?

16/09/2026: Excellent food, especially the dessert – crème brûlée – was delicious. Friendly and attentive service.

12/09/2026: We ate very well. The food was excellent. The human interaction left something to be desired compared to other restaurants.

13/07/2026: Even industrial producers are more generous with toppings (I'm referring to the crepes at the dedicated stand).

04/06/2026: Great value for money, both cheap and delicious. I highly recommend the main ingredient, the pickled cabbage; it's really good. No reservation needed, just go at 6:30 and you're good to go.

25/09/2026: Terrible service. What a shame! The seating is lovely, and the exterior is very inviting. The menu is varied, including vegetarian/vegan options. However, there's only one main course. And that's the problem. The service was very disappointing. See for yourself: There were two of us. We ordered one vegetarian risotto (main course) and one appetizer. I don't like risotto. I also ordered a drink. Before I could even order anything else, I was interrupted and told that two people have to order two main courses. The fact that I don't like risotto didn't count. I didn't even get the chance to order a second appetizer or dessert. I wasn't offered any alternatives. Fair enough, other restaurants do that when they realize they have two guests. Inwardly, I'd already left because of the unfriendly manner. Just as we were about to leave, the server turned around. She said she'd check with the manager. A special exception, she said, and we could stay. I was also not offered anything else. Fair enough, other restaurants do that when they realize they have two guests. In my mind, I was already ready to leave. We stayed because my partner was looking forward to the risotto and I liked the view. There was no service, and we didn't feel welcome at all. By the way, the outdoor seating area wasn't even half full at the time. We weren't offered a dessert menu, nor any wine. That's not how you make money. In short: the food was good, the service wasn't. I'd probably go to the Lebanese restaurant around the corner next time. Fun fact: We occupied a table for two. We had drinks, one appetizer, and one main course. If my partner had gone to the restaurant alone, she would have occupied the same table and ordered less.

25/09/2026: Excellent restaurant that I introduced to a friend. The quality and service have remained unchanged since my last lunch there; congratulations on this consistency!

27/08/2026: A good place to eat. Large dining room, but not too noisy. The dishes are decent and quite generous. You won't leave hungry.

25/08/2026: Good food but terrible service. If you don’t speak any French do not come here. You are apparently not welcome. The waitress insisted on speaking French to us even though we were obviously not native French speakers. (Which would’ve been fine had she been remotely friendly) As we know a little French we were able to understand her questions and place our orders. However, the waitress seemed very annoyed by the fact that our French wasn’t perfect. She did not appreciate at all that we were trying our very best to speak her language. (While she didn’t even say a single word in English even though she’s fluent in the language as we found out later on). She was much friendlier when serving the French guests around us. The food was pretty good, but depending on the staff you’ll have great difficulties getting it if you don’t know your basic French.

10/08/2026: So we got ripped off a bit leaving the FAV. A man gave us a ticket. When we arrived, the welcome wasn't friendly at all, neither at the entrance nor at the bar, and on top of that, it was €28 for two people without a drink. They even tried to charge me for a glass of water. However, the place is very clean and the atmosphere (DJ) is really nice, even though there were very few people. In short, once was enough...

06/07/2026: I wanted to thank you for the presentation of the cake; it was beautiful, delicious, and light. Congratulations to the pastry chef who made such beautiful cakes; it was magnificent! Thank you so much, I will definitely come back.

22/06/2026: Because you can't give zero stars! I've never eaten such a bad baguette, it was inedible!! And I ordered the chef's special. I won't be setting foot in this place again anytime soon; the service and quality are deplorable. This bakery, if you can even call it that, is one to avoid!

10/09/2026: A big thank you to little Vincent for his kindness. The people of Saint-Malo are very professional and immediately put people at ease. Don't hesitate to go and eat there; the portions are generous and the food is delicious.

08/09/2026: Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the food, so we'll just have to make up for it later 🙂 The welcome and atmosphere were fantastic, the service was impeccable. For a first visit to Colmar and a first visit to Alsace, I highly recommend it, and a special thank you to Jessica for her good humor and friendliness!! She's a wonderfully welcoming person who knows how to take care of her customers every time.

13/09/2026: The atmosphere is nice, the food wasn't bad, and the portions were large. The prices are okay. I had pork knuckle with Munster sauce, which I can recommend, but the portion was very large; I couldn't finish it.

29/07/2026: I've been to Xtrem Fist Weekend a good dozen times over the past five years and always had a great time. However, an incident on Friday, July 24, 2026, left a very bad taste in my mouth, to the point that I doubt I'll ever go back. A guy tried to play with me, but I wasn't interested. As I always do in these situations, I politely declined. Yet, for some reason, he then refused to leave me alone. He started following me and whispering nasty remarks. He did this several times until I yelled at him to leave me alone. Even then, he continued to harass me. I approached a member of staff, I think his name was Steph, to explain what was happening. He completely ignored me. I then tried to go back to playing with my friends and forget about it, but I was too upset to enjoy the evening. This man continued to circle me in a targeted manner. Fortunately, several people witnessed his behavior, which reassured me, as I was beginning to wonder if I was overreacting. I finally decided to leave early, as it was clear this man wasn't going to stop harassing me and the staff wasn't going to do anything about it. The cashier was the same employee who had ignored me earlier, so I tried to explain what had happened. He replied that he recognized me from previous evenings, then casually said something like, "You can't save everyone." I've been into fisting for over 15 years and I attend parties in several countries around the world. This is the first time I've experienced anything like this. I would have simply appreciated it if the staff had asked this man to stop harassing me, or even removed him from the party. Unfortunately, nothing was done. I'm sad that I no longer feel safe in this club where I used to have so many great nights. I'm angry that I let this individual ruin my evening. And above all, I'm deeply hurt and disappointed that the staff chose to let this situation unfold without intervening.

03/09/2026: I have not been there yet but a friend told me that the owner is one of my fans. I am from Gibraltar and the officent of MAPR. I shall be in Colmar this December and I would like to visit this cafe and say hello

01/08/2026: Didn’t eat, but this place saved us on a hot afternoon Colmar tour with cold delicious cremant and fully functional bathroom. The owner is a delight.
