Outstanding in a very busy square
07/12/2025: The staff wasn't friendly.
The pastries were nothing special, and we had to go upstairs because there was no more room downstairs. The cleanliness was really lacking.
Upstairs, there was a member of staff doing paperwork at their desk, and the cook was listening to music.

13/12/2024: Overpriced for deplorable quality, a tourist trap in all its splendor.
Initially we wanted to express our disappointment, with a constructive aim, perhaps to pave the way for improvement in the dishes ordered... but we were confronted with an arrogant, self-confident, self-proclaimed boss. one of the best establishments in Colmar!
When I see the Google review score, it seems that many of us think the opposite.
The kind of establishment that harms Colmar's reputation. Really unfortunate that it could still exist in 2024...

Very varied menu, as many dishes as drinks.
And the service provided with calm, discretion and attention

09/09/2024: Für uns war der Besuch eine einzige Enttäuschung: Die Quiche kam im Kern eiskalt und am Rand gerade noch warm an. Nach der Bitte, sie aufzuwärmen, war sie immer noch nicht heiß. Schmeckte fad und war zudem ausgesprochen unansehnlich. Vermutlich hatte sie auch vorher schon manche zu kurze Runde in der Mikrowelle gedreht. Die Rösti waren ungesalzen, also auch ausgesprochen fade. Einen Salzstreuer mussten wir erbitten, der wurde dann kurzerhand vom Nachbartisch gemopst. Machte die Sache aber auch nicht viel besser. Fazit für uns: reiner Touristennepp.
21/08/2024: Suite à refus de nous servir dans un restaurant voisin, nous voici arrivés dans cet établissement.
Une carte plutôt diversifiée pour les plats et très variées pour les boissons…un peu moins pour les desserts.
Cependant, une écoute attentive et personnalisée par le personnel afin de répondre aux différentes demandes particulières (type vinaigrette sans sucre pour une personne diabétique).
L’ensemble du repas a été correct et les mets proposés sont plutôt locaux.
Nous vous conseillons l’île flottante qui est énorme et a un coût réduit, à savoir 5€…
Une brasserie bien sympathique au cœur de Colmar, et un service au top.
Nous recommandons cet établissement pour une halte déjeuner.

26/09/2024: A restaurant where you are never disappointed, which does not pretend to do great cuisine, but where the dishes are always high quality and plentiful. The pastries are excellent and homemade.
The friendly and very efficient team. Simple & warm brasserie atmosphere. Whether for breakfast, a coffee on the terrace or lunch, you will never be disappointed.

16/09/2024: Having tea or something else on the terrace today seems to really annoy the waiter...
He is pedantic and talks down to people.
Doesn't want to get rid of his cards from a table he has assigned to himself to seat clients.
He is haughty and very unpleasant.
The weather is already bad today and it's not helping to warm up the atmosphere...

28/09/2024: We each took a cordon bleu with mushrooms. Zero mushrooms at my house and 2 tiny ones at my wife's. The waitress tells us that the mushrooms must have remained at the bottom of the bowl! Not even the idea of bringing us some of this famous bowl. The toppings ordered extra arrived when we had finished the dishes! Mushroom sauce without mushrooms is more like water than a real sauce. In short, we left without dessert and disappointed with our meal. The waitress is not nice and not smart at all. Too bad the frame is good though.
19/09/2024: We spent a nice lunchtime here, enjoying multiple delicious dishes. Calming location next to the small Lauch stream in the late summer. Despite the location next to the pier where the small tour boats take off, this turned out to not be a tourist trap.

27/09/2024: “Excellent meal! I had the fish dish of the day and the gourmet coffee, and everything was delicious. The fish was perfectly cooked and flavorful. The gourmet café offered a nice variety of desserts, all exquisite. The service was impeccable, attentive and fast. A very good address, I highly recommend!”
25/09/2024: I came across this store by chance as I was passing by near my hotel. The store was clean and the food was delicious. I enjoyed a relaxing meal with my daughter.

11/12/2025: We ordered, among other things, a bacon and cheese sandwich that arrived half empty. We went to complain and were told they couldn't exchange it for another item. When they refused, I asked for a complaint form, which the manager denied me, and he also refused to give me his name. It was degrading treatment and a complete rip-off, as the advertising photo is misleading. The restrooms were also a disgrace in terms of hygiene. We will never return to this Burger King.
11/12/2025: I wanted to visit, but given the comments, it's a no-go, sorry. Where I live in the Vosges, they're the best. But don't worry, you're not the only ones. McDonald's is even worse. Good luck to you.

We were actually there for dinner this evening. A nice waitress served us at first, so far everything was fine. The dishes that are on the menu on the house wall either existed or didn't exist, but there were tarte flambées with and without cheese. So we decided on the tarte flambée, a big mistake!
The nice waitress was probably off work, so she went home with us shortly after we ordered. After an eternity, a bad-tempered, taciturn gentleman came out. Put the drinks on the table for us, more or less, without comment. Shortly afterwards he brought the tarte flambée, or what it was supposed to be. A finished product, barely cooked through, lukewarm and crispy, even just the edge. Disaster!
Read the other reviews! These are similar. Avoid the store.

The staff already do not wear gloves, work with their cell phones
For the pizza, no chicken, but a ton of mushrooms and onions, all for €14.99
At home I pay 13.50 for the Indian with fresh chicken, well dosed with onion and pepper and zero mushrooms for the Indian
And the....no pepper and mushroom. ...
Really disappointed and yet there are people ordering....
