07/02/2026: The room was clean and comfortable enough for the price. Breakfast was also quite good, perhaps a little expensive. There's a public car park right next door, but it's better to use the hotel's car park: it's cheaper, and the elevator goes directly into the hotel.

26/01/2026: In short: a very disappointing experience. The menu descriptions don't list all the ingredients, so there were a few surprises when the food arrived. The velouté arrived barely lukewarm, with an added layer of rather bitter herb oil that ruined the flavor. The chuck roast was tasteless, tender but bland, and the vegetables were undercooked, far too crunchy. The fish, on the other hand, was excellent. I would have chosen a slightly less sweet variety of sweet potato to better balance the dish. As for the dessert, it was a disaster. The profiteroles were made from three mini cream puffs, with a base of pastry cream that was inevitably frozen solid, topped with a ridiculously small scoop of ice cream that had melted. In short, the dessert was sent back. The service was slow and disorganized, though friendly. The only real positive point was the wine selection. A huge disappointment, especially considering the bill.

The card is renewed every week. The products used are of very good quality. It is undoubtedly the best restaurant in Fontenay-aux-Roses.

04/07/2025: At L'Escargot 1903, all the planets are aligned: a beautiful location, magnificent tableware, Yannick Tranchant's excellence in every dish, wonderful wine suggestions, and service with just the right amount of relaxedness. It's for all of this that we keep coming back!

17/01/2026: Excellent place for the cheese and egg shop, etc., AND for the restaurant where the meats are delicious with a very wide selection available: for example, the hanger steak is a cut not offered everywhere. The salads and side dishes are also very good. The raclettes and fondues that were being passed around looked very tempting; I'll have to try them next time. The icing on the cake is the very friendly and professional staff.
