19/01/2026: This is an informed review following a disastrous experience at this "brasserie." The restaurant boasts a pleasant setting and an attractive storefront, but that's where its appeal ends. The menu offered few dishes, which often suggests homemade cuisine, so we were initially confident. We ordered three appetizers: a kidney puff pastry, a spinach and goat cheese tart, and a country terrine. Our main courses were three duck breasts with orange sauce (an extra €3) and sliced ​​beef with pepper sauce. We also ordered a floating island dessert, a San Pellegrino, and two glasses of St. Nicolas de Bourgueil. The result: a rather spicy puff pastry, a relatively greasy terrine, and a tart replaced by a quiche Lorraine (which was also very salty). We mentioned this, and were told that the chef hadn't informed us. Next up: the duck breast was sinewy and quite tough (a sign of poor quality), roughly sliced ​​lengthwise, and the orange sauce was nonexistent; instead, there was a jar of some kind of stock with leftover shreds of meat to which small pieces of orange had been added. And the side dish was something I'd never seen before: potatoes, lentils, and carrots. A complete mismatch. As for the sliced ​​beef, our daughter ate absolutely nothing, just the salad. The beef was overcooked (resembling boiled meat), and there was no pepper sauce as promised. Faced with this litany of errors, we put an end to the carnage and cancelled dessert. Finally, they don't accept Connect holiday vouchers, only the paper version. The bill came to €95.70. Change the chef or call in Philippe Etchebest… when there’s nobody in a restaurant, you have to ask yourself some questions… (the bistro was taken over under a lease agreement in January 2025, from what I’ve seen)

16/04/2026: Passing through Tours, I stumbled upon this place and was able to have lunch at 3 pm! Without a reservation, I was able to get a table and a solution for lunch. No complaints whatsoever, except that the staff is very friendly, welcoming, and attentive to customers. Served very quickly, the meal was good quality and reasonably priced. Need a quick lunch or a drink? This is a great spot!

15/05/2026: A very disappointing roadside restaurant. The appetizer buffet was a simple assortment of supermarket trays, with nothing homemade. For the main course, the choice was limited to a "Tex-Mex" pork chop or sliced ​​turkey. I chose the turkey: frankly inedible, the meat was of very poor quality and tasteless. As for desserts, there was practically nothing: a few cheap yogurts and an industrial apple pie I saw in the display case. I didn't order anything. The hygiene also left much to be desired: dirty floor, questionable dishes, and an extremely dirty payment terminal. To top it all off: the television was on in the background, showing a murder mystery program during the meal… a truly warm atmosphere. For €17.50, you expect real roadside fare: generous portions and homemade food. Instead, everything seemed industrial, low-end, and neglected.

As for the restaurant, I strongly advise against it: the prices are exorbitant for the mediocre quality. The bread served wasn't even fresh, which is unacceptable at this price. The only positive point: the rooms are clean and well-maintained. I do not recommend this hotel.

20/10/2025: The most beautiful spot among the Tours open-air cafés! A slice of nature in the heart of the city, what a blast! Local produce is a priority, very friendly service, a maximum 5-minute wait during rush hour—a true El Dorado in Tours! Open-air cinema, children's games, an area protected by the LPO (Lands Protection Agency), a little piece of paradise for the senses! I highly recommend it!
