02/07/2025: A typical French place. The decor is very unusual. We ordered a starter, two French dishes (cop au vin and kidneys), and a dessert, and everything was delicious.

Efficient service but a little long to get dishes and a wait to pay due to a table of 12 people who paid before us and only one person to cash...
Too bad because the service was provided by pleasant, welcoming and efficient people.

16/09/2024: Hotel: city center close to a large park (Richelieu), quiet.
reception: pleasant, the staff is attentive.
Accommodation: clean, very good bedding, real “tv” (not confetti as often).
Catering: the menu is not huge, but it is good and fresh
(homemade).
Conclusion: good one-week stay in Richelieu, thank you.
15/09/2024: Service not recommended at all. The waiter looks lost, only takes one order at a time and waits to serve it so he can take the next order. A minimum of organization would not be refused. In the end, we waited 20 minutes on the terrace to sip something cold with my partner and we finally left without having drunk anything.
The rating is given just to the server.

For the evening with guests and the surprise still frozen.
24/09/2024: Passing by at 6:45 a.m., 15 minutes after opening, I take my coffee and croissant and to my surprise the croissant was really not from the frozen day the day before or I know where they get them from but very disappointed to the quality today I complained to the waiter but he persisted that all their products are fresh

It is indicated that the products are fresh and homemade. I had doubts about the fries because they were crispy on the outside but cold on the inside, the same goes for the French toast.
You still have to count for a glass of wine, a duck breast and French toast around 33 euros per person
Very clean toilet.
Modern room.

17/09/2024: The setting is idyllic for lunch alone. The setting inside the establishment is prestigious, as are the welcome and the service. As for meals: special mention to the Macaron which was delicious!
12/09/2024: Whatever the season, it's always a real pleasure to get together at 36! Thanks to the Chef and his entire brigade, we recommend without hesitation.

23/08/2024: We didn't make any reservations, but they politely accommodated us. I had the wild duck but I find it a bit tough. My friend had a big salad with gizzards. That is apparently quite tasty.

31/07/2024: The one staff member there was very friendly. But they were understaffed for the relatively large tourist crowd they had the night we stayed there. Also there was no one answering the phone or at the front desk until 4 PM though the website said someone would be there after 8 AM.

19/07/2024: Le sandwich, bien que basic, est très bon. Il est fait à partir d'une très bonne baguette.
Le prix est moins élevé que dans une boulangerie industrielle.
En plus, il est possible d'accompagner le sandwich avec des macarons vegan. Ce point est important lorsqu'on a des intolérances alimentaires notamment.
03/05/2024: I read in the comments that this bakery should be avoided because everything is frozen...this is surely a mistake!! Having had an introduction to it even though I am not at all in the profession, I can attest to the excellence of the baker's work, his search for good and well-made products, his concern for the selection of products, his ethics, of his desire to transmit. For example, this enthusiast has been keeping his sourdoughs alive for several decades which, apart from the fact that this gives it incredible flavors, is far from common these days.

03/10/2024: We booked the hotel based on the official pictures, which do not show the renovation backlog of the last few decades. The hotel needs some investment. But it has a lot of charm and is ok as a stopover (for us towards Spain) and in conjunction with a visit to the Château de Chenonceau, which is just a five-minute walk away. The bathroom is very narrow and the shower (in the bathtub) has no shower curtain, which is why half the bathroom is flooded when showering. The beds were very comfortable. The older lady at the reception was very nice and friendly. Value for money could be better.
We skipped breakfast and instead had a lovely breakfast in a bakery in nearby Bléré.

We spent 2 weeks with my wife at the Relais du Plessis
Chalet, very attentive and very pleasant staff, the perfect environment, visit to village castles as well as varied activities for all, horseback riding
etc etc we highly recommend this place without forgetting the SPA which is perfect we will come back with great pleasure
11/09/2024: To avoid very very bad experience with this establishment insect everywhere bug is mosquito unbearable smell swimming pool too dirty personal not welcoming especially the director who shouts at the children when they play turn off the lights in the residence at 10 p.m. and what's more he takes what he takes want on your deposit to avoid.
