Very easy access with ample parking, magnificent setting with a view of the Gulf, tasteful decoration, impeccable welcome and service, and cuisine worthy of a Michelin star. All for a very reasonable price. We also wonder why the Table de Lys is not awarded a star??? I recommend without reservation.

23/09/2024: Ne pas tenir compte de l’avis de Nadège, très bonne table, service impeccable, nous étions dernière cette personne qui était odieuse tout le long du repas en comparent la nourriture avec le KFC ( c’est pour dire le palais et la référence culinaire de cette personne) sans parler de ces remarques déplacées sur les clients du jour et son scandale auprès du maître d’hôtel.

22/09/2024: Quelle DÉCEPTION ! La renommée actuelle de cette établissement est nullement méritée ! Au guide Michelin??? De quand date la dernière visite! De grandes tables rondes pour 4 ou 2 … trop grandes pour 2 , la salle ne s adapte pas aux réservations, on est perdu. 9 serveurs, sommelier, maître d hôtel pour 12 tables, un ballet incessant d’allées et venues, certains sans mission apparente, les mains vides à l allée et le retour…on se suit, se poursuit, se bouscule même en se croisant… spectacle fatiguant … personnel tellement sérieux , tellement triste… on peut faire bien son travail avec le sourire c est tellement plus agréable … ça ne respire pas le bonheur de travailler dans cet établissement ! Les mets…. Des mélanges complexes , peu harmonieux de goûts contradictoires…je n utilise pas volontairement le terme « saveurs » car peu ou pas de saveur, sans doute des produits bas de gamme … ou de si mauvaises associations… honteux! … 82 euros le menus… on s est ennuyé… on a choqué en osant dire que nous n avions pas apprécié , le maître d hôtel m a agressée verbalement en reprochant ma «  Bourgeoisie » , que je n étais pas assez du cru et pas assez paysanne comme l ensemble des convive ce soir là… qui insultaient-il??? …il m informe de ses 36 ans d expériences…et alors! …me dit qu un chef 1 étoile était venu déjeuner ce même jour et qu il avait apprécié ce Fabuleux menu… c est certain que ce chef étoilé n a aucune inquiétude quant à la concurrence potentielle de cet établissement… l étoile est bien loin encore… ou alors je crée mon restaurant… A fuir… sans doute que le « petit prince » fut une belle adresse… malheureusement il ne faut pas vivre sur ses acquis… résumé : diner sans saveur, et agressée pour avoir osé donner mon avis…passez votre chemin, la région Roannaise a tellement de belles tables savoureuses et accueillantes!

03/12/2024: We stopped at the Phoenix by chance during a business trip. And chance did things well: excellent meat, generous portions, a divine tropézienne for dessert, friendly and professional service despite our late arrival. A nice chef. A simple establishment but which honors the national cuisine. Don't hesitate. Run there. Didier and Woong.

04/10/2024: La côte de veau Tomahawk est juste magnifique, le gratin n’en parlons pas et l’équipe est vraiment super agréable. Je ne mets jamais de commentaires mais cela fait parti de ces super surprises.

18/12/2024: To summarize simply: A moment of prestige. Not being particularly accustomed to and seeking this type of establishment on a high coast, I always take my visits to this type of place with great caution. Which often leads me to harsh judgment. But with you I didn't have the same feeling... Details below. The staff: The feeling of relaxation juxtaposed with the great rigor of impeccable service really put us at ease from the first contact. A breath of freshness, of youth rarely perceptible in this category. The location: Absolutely beautiful! Certainly, our visit took place in good weather, but the setting remains sumptuous all the same. An old building of character and again this wind of spontaneity, of nature left as close as possible to its natural development, but which is in fact totally mastered... The attention to detail right down to the brazero lit at dusk following the meal... Having spent the night there, the kakis residence adjoining the restaurant, the swimming pool and other amenities, we ended up completing the postcard that I keep in my memory! The kitchen: The reputation of the house did not expect my comment. I must admit, however, that the quality of the food far exceeded my expectations. I would even say that I have never had so much fun. For my part, my assessment after a dinner is largely based on my state of well-being during the evening, and for once, the quality of the dishes was in total adequacy with the quality of the service in general... By way of anecdotal visit to the kitchens by the chef himself to top it all off! In short… For me it is therefore clear that it is a 5 out of 5. I sincerely thank you for your passion for the profession which has changed the way I see great cuisine! I will keep an unforgettable memory of it. If I can, I will come back!... Looking forward to it.

17/12/2024: Excellent time, everything was perfect from the welcome of the employees and also from Mr Troisgros, not to mention this wonderful lunch accompanied by tasty wine, thank you to the whole team for this unforgettable day, well done to all 👍

14/11/2024: As a starter there were mushroom talmouses in tricorn or snail tagine. Main course was duck with vegetables or roast veal with sauce and vegetables, plus gratin dauphinois. finally for dessert we had the choice between homemade sorbets, verbena ice cream, tarte tatin or chocolate mousse. everything was perfect! we had a great time and the atmosphere and location are incredible. We will return.

08/12/2024: Super les cuisses de grenouilles avec frites maison et salade. Fromage blanc fermier excellent. Très bon moment. La fois précédente entrecôtes succulentes produits locaux.Un seul bémol quelques amuse gueules seraient les bienvenus. A conseiller.

27/08/2024: Charming hotel where it is good to stop for a few nights. Located in a quiet, hilly village, the hotel is ideal for a break alone or with family. We are welcomed like long-time customers. The rooms are large with a kettle available. Good bedding. A large car park directly opposite makes parking easy. I did not dine there and given the other comments I regret it. On my next visit. Very good buffet breakfast for a reasonable price. This is an address to keep.

08/12/2024: Bon repas et bon rapport qualité prix. Quel dommage qu au moment de payer l addition la patronne ait été passablement odieuse!!!! Alors que nous avions convenu de partager l addition en 8 pour simplifier, une erreur est apparue sur la caisse qui avait divisé par moins de personnes ce qui nous amenait a un prix unitaire trop eleve. L Bon a patronne s est énervée et nous a spécifié ne plus vouloir nous revoir. Incroyable et vraiment dommage parce que le repas était bon.
