11/03/2026: The atmosphere could have been quite nice with friends, except the fish and chips on the menu ruined everything because they weren't up to scratch. The labeling of the origin of ALL the meats isn't immediately obvious to customers. The cooking style is deep-fried, with a characteristic taste, and what's more... they're far too oily—so much for calorie counting! See the latest photos added for the traditional cooking method... Here, it seems profitability takes precedence; no dry-cured ham, just a basic, entry-level ham on the menu, like in a bistro in Saint-Étienne that I know very well... and which gets its cheap pâté-style product from Metro. I often say that a professional's garbage is a good indicator, even if their name isn't Bertrand 😊. Oh, and I almost forgot, the poor-quality fresh cheese called Sarasson is served as an extra charge. Overall, it's poor value for money because even the fries 🍟 in the children's menu, which cost around €10, had a sour taste. We regretted the trip, especially the fuel and the bill 👓. For visitors, the typical viewpoint of the town is from Guizay towards La Ricamarie.

We received a very warm welcome and enjoyed delicious dishes in a beautiful setting that blends modernity, simplicity, and comfort! The menu featured a light and slow-cooked wild boar terrine with a bouquet of fennel, seared octopus with a southern flair and vegetables, and a gourmet tea that truly tantalized our taste buds! There was no presentation of the dishes, and tables were mixed up. One wine was madeleine, so it had to be changed, as had other tables. The decor is outdated. The chef came by at the end of service, a bit gruff. The bill was exorbitant. It was a first, but also a last...

12/10/2025: We had a wonderful time at Brasserie La Rocadine! The welcome was very warm from the moment we arrived: the waiters and waitresses are truly charming, attentive, and cheerful. The service is fast and pleasant, always with the aim of pleasing customers. The food is delicious, well-presented, and generous, using quality ingredients. You can tell that everything is prepared with care. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, perfect for a meal with family or friends. A special word for the owner, particularly kind and cheerful, who takes the time to interact with customers—a real plus that makes all the difference. I highly recommend this place; a place where you feel good and want to come back!

12/03/2026: Huge disappointment, the quality/price ratio was far too high. The wait was incredibly long for a restaurant that wasn't even full (arrived at 7:30 pm, left at 10:45 am), especially considering my daughters only ate one main course. The side dishes were disappointing. However, the ingredients themselves were of good quality.

08/03/2026: A complete lack of professionalism I had a reservation for three people at noon. Since I was with some punctual clients, I arrived a few minutes early. I went in, the waitress greeted me very kindly and showed me to my table. That's when a man suddenly appeared and told me that, since the establishment didn't open until noon sharp, I had to go back and wait in my car! A truly bizarre experience; it was 11:53 a.m. I did indeed follow his advice: I went back to my car, started the engine, and went to spend my money elsewhere. It's high time someone explained to this gentleman, who must have previously worked at the post office or the SNCF (French National Railway), that he's no longer dealing with "users" or "citizens" but with "customers." If this were the owner, it would be even more worrying for the future of the establishment. -------- Following his response of March 7th ---- All that remains is to launch a police investigation! 1/ For your information, I own a smartwatch that tells the correct time! 2/ Indeed, my customer hadn't looked at his phone between the time I left and the time he came in!! 3/ Being a shopkeeper and the son and grandson of shopkeepers, I've learned what a "customer" is. It remains to be seen whether my opinion is absurd or not... Let me teach you how to distinguish them: 1/ Are they anonymous or not... 2/ Look at the proportion of positive and negative reviews posted by the user. I'll give you an example: In October, we had lunch at your establishment; we ordered a "homemade" pâté en croûte. Two people found it "good." I didn't! Very ordinary, bland! Did I leave a negative review? No! I think you should contact your local Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI); they certainly have a hotel training center (CFH). Given the urgency of the situation, they will surely find you a place in "customer service" or "how to defuse a critical situation"!!!

09/04/2026: Today's menu, straight from Metro, featured a meat portion of about 50g in the daily special. Polenta is definitely cheaper. Very disappointed for a first visit. Will not return.

28/02/2026: One of those "sanctuaries" dedicated to this beverage, so diverse in color and flavor; beautiful bottles representing a wide variety of regions, with an effective presentation contributing to the unique decor. The menus and daily specials are enticing, the prices reasonable, and the cuisine is both digestible and varied, with very efficient service, despite the crowds. A place where it's almost essential to book, even on weekdays!

02/01/2026: I can't wait to go back. We had a wonderful time as a family with our 5-month-old daughter and our Staffordshire Bull Terrier. The service was impeccable, attentive, and everything was homemade. The atmosphere was lovely, the food was delicious and flavorful, the room was clean, and the view was exceptional. Everything was perfect. Thank you for the warm welcome. This is a welcoming place. It was our first visit, but we will definitely be back.

03/10/2025: Magical place with a magnificent view! We came by chance with children after a lovely hike. The staff is very friendly and the owner kindly offered us a delicious homemade sausage to accompany our bottle of wine. We will definitely be back for a family meal!
