The setting is particularly pleasant, warm, and elegant, ideal for a meal with family or friends. The cuisine is creative, with subtle flavors and truly refined presentation. Each dish was a genuine invitation to a culinary journey. The service was equally impressive: attentive, discreet, and professional. We felt pampered throughout the meal. 22/07/2026: We take a step back in time with a visit to the Auberge du Moulin de Juré. Simple meals, but excellent ingredients, expertly prepared. Reservations are recommended as it's often full. A building that has remained unchanged for centuries, it generates its own electricity thanks to the mill, which is also used for sawing wood, pressing apple juice, and more. An extraordinary experience steeped in rural and Forez traditions.

22/05/2026: Simplicity, efficiency, and excellent food. Very friendly staff. I recommend checking it out! Note to the owner: Even though it's a traditional inn, it would be nice to serve the wine in wine glasses, rather than Duralex ones.

21/07/2026: The room is noisy. Lots of flies are annoying, but it's the countryside, so please bear with us. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. Especially the desserts! You can ask for a vegetarian option, which is lovely.

The food is homemade using farm-fresh produce; the charcuterie is delicious, as is the main course (the potato gratin is excellent), and the homemade cheeses are to die for! Plus, the staff is very friendly; you feel right at home! Note that the drink prices are unbeatable (€14 for a bottle of Montbazillac). A must-try!

28/06/2026: I was very disappointed with the fried food; it wasn't crispy at all, it was dry, hard, and tasteless. I think it was prepared the day before, just like the dry gratin dauphinois. You had to search for the cream, and don't even get me started on the cheese on top—the crust was so hard I couldn't cut it with a knife. The fried food itself was probably from the day before. The lentil terrine was excellent, as was the honey dessert. The waitresses were very friendly and quick.

21/08/2026: We discovered this inn after a 9km hike to the Chorsin waterfall. There were two of us. The inn was full, but they managed to find us a spot outside. We ate very well for a very reasonable price. The waiter was very friendly. The view of the Monts du Lyonnais was superb. We highly recommend it! 👌

12/07/2026: Excellent little restaurant located in the village's former schoolhouse. We ate under the covered area and enjoyed a bit of fresh air in the current heatwave. A family-run establishment; the husband is the chef and the wife takes care of the pastries and desserts. Parking nearby (20 meters). Spotless accessible restrooms and other facilities.
