31/05/2026: Excellent restaurant. Great value for money with quality, homemade dishes. Hats off to the senior couple who took over the business a few years ago and have made it a must-visit. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended.
15/05/2026: Lunch for a birthday celebration. Excellent welcome, very good quality meal, with perfect service. Run by a couple of a certain age (like us), the husband in the kitchen, the wife in the dining room, it's a very cozy, family-run establishment. Highly recommended.

Equivalent to a grand hotel restaurant in the luxury districts of Paris. A wonderful surprise to find this place in St. Galmier. And above all, the owner is incredibly involved in every aspect of the business – truly unheard of. As a resident of St. Galmier, I'm blown away. I highly recommend it! 👍😉

The only downside was the cooking of my hamburger. Being pregnant, I asked for the patty in my burger to be well-done, but unfortunately, it arrived pink/bloody in the center. I asked for it to be cooked again, and when the second burger arrived, the patty was overcooked, almost burnt. It's a shame they don't know how to properly cook a hamburger...
Otherwise, the rest of the meal and the service were very good!
08/08/2026: On Friday evening, August 7th, we went to the restaurant L'Escargot d'Or. My son ordered a beef fillet Rossini, but it wasn't beef fillet at all. I've been a butcher for 40 years and I know how to recognize meat, so it was a case of misrepresentation. When I told him it wasn't beef fillet, the waiter said he'd check, but he never came back to me. It's a good thing we're with family; otherwise, I would have made a scene.

08/08/2026: On our way back to Paris, we discovered this restaurant and what a lovely surprise! 😍 The meal was delicious, fresh, and of very high quality. The set menus are well-designed and the price is reasonable.
A big thank you to the manager, who is very kind, welcoming, and friendly.
We had a wonderful time and we will gladly return! I highly recommend this restaurant. ❤️
