13/03/2026: Chicken burger... Excellent. Chocolate éclair, excellent. Nice decor. This shop is a real business... It's always busy.
Prices are relatively reasonable.
The place is relatively quiet.
Parking is fairly easy.
I recommend it.

20/07/2026: Excellent food, great service, and charming outdoor seating. This is what a perfect evening should be like.
20/07/2026: To begin with, we had a table reserved for 9 PM and were seated at 9:40 PM. Four of us ordered the same dish, but one of us was served spoiled meat that smelled awful. The chef's reaction was, "No, it doesn't smell," while the waitress's reaction was, "Oh yes, the meat stinks."
Luckily, the two waitresses took good care of us and offered us a bottle of champagne. The spoiled meat was charged to the bill—a disgrace.

24/07/2026: Palais des Douceurs (Palace of Sweets) is aptly named 😉 On the saleswoman's recommendation, we tried the artisanal ice creams (vanilla strawberry and vanilla pistachio), presented in an original way in small cups. 👌 We thoroughly enjoyed them.
We'll be back.
It's a place worth discovering. 👍
27/06/2026: I left with my friend, I didn't have any money, the lady kicked me out. I don't recommend it, she lies a lot and they tried to scam me.

25/01/2026: Good and affordable food, very friendly staff, and welcoming owners. The tarte flambée, crème brûlée, and cakes are unbeatable. Everything else is really great too. The adjoining campsite is quite basic, but fantastic. The sanitary facilities are well-maintained and clean. Everything is just right. Camping as it should be. I always enjoy coming back. The terrace, interior, and toilets have been beautifully renovated.
01/11/2025: Unfortunately, frog legs are on the menu. I avoid restaurants that serve animals killed in cruel ways.

04/01/2026: Restaurant closed (retirement) since December 29, 2025. Thank you Dominique for delighting us all these years and happy retirement!
11/12/2025: Upon arrival, we weren't even greeted. The only thing they rushed to say was, "We're full." Even though the restaurant was practically half empty. Perhaps we arrived too late (1:05 PM), but in that case, they might as well have told us we weren't welcome because of the time. This is the behavior of a restaurant that doesn't need new customers. Disappointing.

10/07/2026: The restaurant wasn't great, the food was quite mediocre and the service rather unpleasant. I'm very disappointed and I'll never go back, nor would I recommend this restaurant to anyone I know.
05/07/2026: The meal was really bad, undercooked, cold, and the waitress was incredibly unpleasant. I honestly thought she was going to insult us, so we were quite disappointed compared to what we'd been told, especially considering the long wait.

15/07/2026: A wonderful discovery! This place is nestled among many trees, making it very peaceful.
The owner is extremely kind, we ate very well, and the rooms are spotless.
I highly recommend this establishment.

03/08/2026: We spent the evening at this restaurant, four of us on the terrace. The service was provided by a young, inexperienced waiter—poor guy, not his fault—but it was incredibly slow. They didn't even have cloth napkins, just paper ones. We ordered steak tartare, but the fries were under-seasoned and completely overcooked. So, we were really not satisfied.
02/08/2026: The location, service, and food were excellent. Especially the shellfish and lamb.

21/06/2026: A hotel that does the job. Super friendly and professional staff. Given the pastries, I suggest taking the opportunity to expand the breakfast offerings.
05/06/2026: This is one of the few hotels where people still live and work.
The rooms are very clean, and the staff is courteous and friendly.
The cakes and pastries are absolutely delicious. 😋
The only downside is that the breakfast could use something more savory (eggs, sausage, and cheese). But hey, this is France! 🤷🏼♂️

28/07/2026: So-so, bad service, order error, they prefer to chat amongst themselves rather than serve customers. The staff is incompetent and dejected, and having been a regular at Moulin Bleu, I will never go to the one in Metz again.
