23/08/2026: I should have turned around and gone for a swim in the Saar River just across the river; I think I would have had a better time. Nothing was fresh, an hour's wait between courses, a terrine that looked like dog food, my children ordered pasta bolognese, but it was downright shameful—the pasta wasn't fresh, stuck together, and tasted like leftover lemon from the lunch service. In short, all that for 208 euros. As a regular at La Potence, where the prices are similar or even higher, I can tell you it's like night and day. Little Thierry, you've seen me, well, you won't see me again. A disgraceful restaurant for those kinds of prices.

13/08/2026: Disappointed, we had booked for lunch today and the restaurant was closed. Like every year, we wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary. No phone call to let us know. A disgrace.

21/08/2026: Excellent restaurant! We dined at the Auberge de Mulcey and were absolutely delighted. The welcome was warm and friendly from the moment we arrived, the service was attentive, and the setting was very pleasant. The food was truly excellent: well-prepared, flavorful, and high-quality traditional dishes. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in the kitchen. A lovely country spot where you feel right at home. We highly recommend it and will gladly return!

12/07/2026: My mother and I had a wonderful time. The meal was delicious, generous, and excellent. Homemade, what more could you ask for? The welcome and service were beyond top-notch. Special mention to Sharon, whose smile and kindness made her absolutely perfect. We will definitely be back.

20/06/2026: Lunch for Mother's Day was delicious, and the service was impeccable. The atmosphere was pleasant, and they kept a brisk pace, serving all the reserved tables. I'll definitely return; it's a reliable choice in the area. The new owners have managed to maintain the excellent food and friendly service.

21/08/2026: Absolutely unfriendly! First time we've ever been refused service with our dog in a restaurant!!! We've been to dozens and dozens of restaurants all over France, Germany, Belgium… always a warm welcome… but this! In short, we went to your neighbors in Waldhouse! Avoid at all costs!

16/07/2026: We were there during the week. They only offer one daily special, no à la carte menu. You have to order a starter, main course, and dessert, because even if you skip the starter or dessert, you'll still be charged for everything. Something to keep in mind. The service was incredibly slow. We waited over an hour for our main course.

12/09/2026: Very disappointing! It was advertised as serving unlimited fries, but unfortunately, we didn't even get them. We asked for another portion of fries and, after waiting for over 30 minutes, we had to call a server again. We were told they were on their way. Meanwhile, several people came to offer to clear our plates, even though we kept repeating that we were still waiting for our fries. Finally, our plates were cleared, and we were told that the kitchen was completely overwhelmed. They should limit the number of tables in that case; you know how busy a Saturday night can be. We were with a young baby, so we waited unnecessarily only to never receive the fries we had ordered. The staff, however, were friendly.

23/08/2026: I haven't set foot in that bakery, if you can even call it a bakery, since the day I bought stuffed breads containing onion peelings that are supposed to be thrown in the bin and not added to the filling…

11/09/2026: I bought a raclette sandwich today, put it in the fridge for a minute and it was still warm to take away. When I got to the car, the sandwich was cold, inedible even very cold inside.

05/09/2026: The bread keeps well in the freezer, but the prices remain high per loaf. It's a good deal for buying several loaves.

23/07/2026: We had lunch outside on the terrace. The location is beautiful and quiet. The service is friendly, but they only speak French, and the menu is also only in French. The food was fine and looked neat, but it wasn't to my taste. Too much vinegar in combination with the salmon. They didn't really have a lunch menu either, so we ordered a starter.
