09/04/2026: A strange experience... The display window on the ground floor is enticing, but you can't order what's on offer when you're upstairs. The upstairs menu is complicated to understand... In short, it's off to a bad start. The quiche was okay, nothing special. The accompanying salad was poorly washed. The tabbouleh was bland and tasteless. And what about the mushroom soup... I love a good meal, but this was nothing but watery and medicinal. I understand the decision not to add salt, which is commendable, but please season your dishes. I gave it two stars because the desserts are good and the drink selection is nice. I wouldn't recommend this place for lunch upstairs.

31/07/2026: Catastrophic! We asked for the main courses and desserts to be cancelled after seeing the starter. I didn't even know it was legal to serve something like that in a restaurant, both visually and in terms of taste.

26/07/2026: The service didn't reflect the quality of the place, sorry; many drinks listed on the menu were out of stock (not mentioned beforehand) when we were served. The aperitif glass was clearly dirty. Otherwise, the meal was decent. The price/quality ratio was not justified.

28/01/2026: The bartender who was there this morning from 11am to 12pm was very helpful and efficient, and he even caught up with us in the parking lot to give us a charger we'd forgotten. Thank you to him.

18/01/2026: We had a lovely stay. The room was large, spacious, and very pretty. It had a magnificent view of the garden. We had dinner at La Causerie. Many thanks to Enzo for the delicious cocktails and his friendly manner.

24/08/2026: Burnt fries are unprofessional. Serving this is ridiculous to their customers 🤬 And the price is a bit too high.

11/08/2026: The setting is pleasant and the staff friendly. As for the food, it was good, but unfortunately lacked real flavor and character. The dishes were fairly standard and a bit bland for my taste. It's more of a pub/brasserie atmosphere than a true restaurant experience, which perhaps explains my expectations. Nothing bad, but I was expecting something more flavorful and sophisticated.

26/07/2026: On the plus side, the service is standard, offering basic amenities and comfort (no toilets, you have to use the public restrooms). The food is basic and classic... Very expensive; the view of the castle doesn't justify everything.

24/07/2026: The place is cute, right in the center of Pierrefonds square. There's a small daily selection of dishes. We ordered an "Italian" burger, which was Italian only in name. The predominant flavor was basil, which overpowered everything else.

16/05/2026: I don't usually leave reviews, but I was quite disappointed with our stay. My partner and I are used to staying in high-end hotels (especially these past few months as we've been looking for an exceptional venue for our wedding), and unfortunately, a few things let us down: - We couldn't get a table at the restaurant in the evening. We hadn't been informed in advance that a reservation was required, nor that the restaurant was already full. We found out around 7 p.m., and the reception staff seemed rather cold (the receptionist offered no help and was quite unfriendly). We therefore had to urgently find a restaurant open on a public holiday, even though we had planned to stay on the property. - There was no refrigerator in the room, and only one bottle of water was provided. These are small details, but in this type of establishment, they make a difference. - No help with luggage, which is quite surprising for a 4-star hotel (we were used to always having a valet at other establishments of the same type). Overall: the castle itself is beautiful, but unfortunately, we expected a certain level of comfort that we didn't find (in terms of service, staff shortages, attention to detail, etc.).

02/06/2026: Decent service 👍 The prices are very reasonable, cheaper than similar establishments ➖💶 As for the food, the portions are good and generous, with five different meats. That's a real plus compared to the competition 🍖 The taco was a bit dry and lacked sauce, as were the fries served in a tray, which could have used more. On the plus side, though, they had curry sauce, which isn't always offered in this type of restaurant 👍
