18/01/2026: We had a lovely stay. The room was large, spacious, and very pretty. It had a magnificent view of the garden. We had dinner at La Causerie. Many thanks to Enzo for the delicious cocktails and his friendly manner.

16/03/2026: I've never been there, but I've always heard great things about it. I wanted to eat there for lunch today, but apparently it's been permanently closed since Saturday. What a shame!

07/03/2026: A wonderful discovery in Venette! Le Méga is a restaurant that pleasantly surprises. From the moment you step inside, you're immersed in the ambiance of a Savoyard chalet, with plenty of wood, warm decor, and intimate spaces reminiscent of mountain inns. The atmosphere is friendly and truly refreshing, especially considering it's so close to Compiègne. The dining room is very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, with tables equally suited to group meals and quieter dinners. The menu offers generous and delicious French cuisine: beautiful cuts of meat, cheese specialties, regional dishes, and a few perfectly executed classics. You can tell the food is made for pleasure, simple yet satisfying. Special mention goes to the exceptionally friendly and attentive service. It's the kind of place where you quickly feel at ease. A welcoming spot where you can have a wonderful time, and where you'll naturally want to return.

02/09/2026: The receptionist was particularly cold. Not a "hello" in return, just a glacial "yes, I'm listening." Their customer service skills are completely lacking.

02/06/2026: I just called. I was greeted curtly, without any introduction ("May I ask who you are?" "What do you want?"). I explained that I was looking for a reception venue for 2027 and wanted to know the rates; the response was equally curt: "Yeah, well, I suggest you call me back later. 2027 is a long way off, we have time." What can I say? I'll resume my search... but elsewhere.

25/04/2026: The most horrible, disrespectful and arrogant staff I have ever met in my life. The place and rooms are lovely, but both the hotel manager and chef of reception….wow - can’t believe this is the level of service and lack of respect at such a hotel. Disgusting

The service was impeccable, with meticulous attention to detail, and the professionalism of the entire team was evident at every moment. 20/09/2026: The food was very good, but... don't be in a hurry! 30 minutes to order, 30 minutes for the main course... and 30 minutes for dessert! This was my first time here, and it wasn't a success. I don't know if I would recommend it or if I would go back. Form your own opinion. I wouldn't want to influence you in the wrong direction.

25/08/2026: I don't recommend this place. The goat cheese salad was okay, but the croque monsieur was really poor quality. Furthermore, the service is clearly lacking. The waitress was quite unpleasant and made me feel very uncomfortable.

21/08/2026: Very disappointed with the service! It was my first time at Le Boudoir, but my friend, whose birthday we were celebrating with brunch, already knew the place and had recommended it. When we arrived, we asked to be seated in the small outdoor courtyard, but the person who greeted us simply said no, explaining that it had rained, so we ended up in the indoor dining room, which was fortunately empty except for one other couple. It's a shame they didn't offer to give the chairs a quick wipe, especially since the sun had come out again. However, customers who arrived later managed to get seated there without being refused. So we sat down and waited fifteen minutes for the menu. When we asked to see the daily specials board, another person brought it to us, but the one who greeted us commented reproachfully, "I thought it was for brunch." The already lukewarm welcome completely turned us off, and we had to wait another fifteen minutes to take our order. So we ordered several brunch items, but the waitress who greeted us immediately told us that orange juice wasn't available, even though the dining room was practically empty and it was the first brunch service on Saturday morning. We had to wait another fifteen minutes to see the colors of the drinks, then another fifteen minutes for the food. In total, we waited an hour between making our reservation and being served (with an order error) because "there's only one hotplate." I wonder how the service is even possible if the dining room is full, if the staff can't possibly serve four brunches in an empty room. It's a real shame because the food isn't bad, and even quite generous, but the unfriendly welcome and the staff's dismissive attitude are a serious drawback. We won't be going back.

24/09/2026: Amazing service and food. I had the combo of the day and they were amazing. The pistachios flavoured Crème Brûlée is astonishingly good!!! Setting outside lets you to be able to see the castle as well.

04/10/2026: Despite the fact that the crepes were good and generously filled, the service was disastrous! The table wasn't set. There were no cutlery, no napkins, and no water carafe (until the end of the meal). We had to ask for napkins and cutlery (several times). I had to go get a menu to choose desserts because the service was so slow, and I also had to go and place my order... And to top it off, part of the order was missing, which the waiter asked me to cancel on the receipt when I arrived to pay at the counter. I also heard other customers complaining, and no apology or attempt at self-reflection was ever made.

22/09/2026: A very good experience! A warm and pleasant atmosphere. The waitress was very kind and attentive. The manager took excellent care of us and regularly checked to see if everything was alright. As for the food, the galettes were very good, and the desserts were too. We had a great time and will gladly return. I recommend it! 😊
