05/06/2024: A very pleasant setting. We went to dinner, to sing, to dance, with friends over a well-served meal. Tasty meat, a delicious dessert. The setting guarantees relaxation. Very friendly staff. Professional, efficient waitress. A very friendly “D.J” too, and a good “entertainer”. We will definitely be back!

26/10/2024: Muy buena comida en un restaurante interesante que recuerda a una biblioteca. El menú está en un tablero en lugar de menús tradicionales individuales. Platos regionales y productos básicos populares. Menú infantil también disponible. Nosotros (2 adultos, 2 niños) disfrutamos de hamburguesas con fritas y ternera. El servicio era amable y servicial, y el restaurante era popular (sábado por la noche).

20/07/2024: Exciting! Refined dishes, prepared on the spot, with varied and subtle aromas, a true symphony of flavors! From appetizers at the start of the service to homemade truffles following dessert, including, among other things, a rooster unforgettable in its aromatic complexity, a perfect and generous service. Looking forward to another visit to the Compiégnois to taste other dishes.

31/07/2024: We had lunch this afternoon in this restaurant with our two children. The restaurant is located in a very pleasant little alley in old Clermont. The welcome was very friendly and the room inside was air-conditioned, which was very welcome during the heat. We had starter specialties based on cod fritters then a local ham truffade and Auvergne hamburger. The children had steak and fries and cod, shrimp and meat fritters. Everything was super good and the plates were very generous. The children's steak was very good and you could see that the meat was of good quality. The chef even came to chat with the customers to see if everything was going well. Which is very appreciable. We felt that he had a heart for getting feedback and impressions from consumers. Note that the service was very fast. Very good restaurant I recommend.

04/09/2024: Great welcome, family of 2 adults with 2 children. Table at the back to the right of the room, very professional and cheerful waitress. "Despite the heaviness of her blond colleague who kept getting her drunk with his comments, moreover in full view of the customers." Otherwise very good quality and tasty cuisine, very reasonable price. Restaurant not to be missed.

24/07/2024: Très bel endroit, personnel aux petits soins et service impeccable. Par contre pour la cuisine grande déception. Nous avions pris le menu dégustation qui est extrêmement cher vu la quantité servie. A force de vouloir faire de la cuisine extravagante on passe à côté du principal : une cuisine chaleureuse et goutue. Dommage

29/08/2024: Le Chalet du Lac is set up primarily for dining, but there is a comfortable outdoor seating area set aside for people who simply want a beer or two. It’s situated on the lakeside garden of an old villa and is perfectly charming. The location, service and beers were spot on. Another nice place to drink in this beautiful village.

17/08/2024: Table too small for 5, rosé wine not fresh. Asked to eat outside because it was too hot inside, we were told that all the tables were taken even though many were free. Very poor performance. I do not recommend!

21/08/2024: We were very well received in this creperie, the service is fast and friendly. The crepes and pancakes are very, very hearty and at a super reasonable price. Special mention for the delicious spritz!

15/08/2024: Very pretty little creperie, very nice setting in the paved courtyard, good crepes and generously served. The servers were also very pleasant!

16/12/2023: Chosen as the meeting place for the general assembly of our club, it was flawless, from the quote request until the end of the meal. Smiling and attentive staff. As an added bonus, the owner of the establishment knows the history of the inn and will be able to give you some very interesting anecdotes. As for the food, we all found the plates generous with good, very well cooked products! I will definitely return and I recommend it with my eyes closed.
