09/03/2026: We had a wonderful stay at the château. For one night, we were able to enjoy the relaxation areas, the restaurant, and the brunch. The staff were very helpful and friendly, which made for a very pleasant experience.

16/01/2026: In response to Sébastien Jaouen... What a sad life you must lead to come and denigrate a small, traditional restaurant where everything is homemade in 50 lines. Where dishes are carefully prepared every day with fresh, local products... Chipped plates? So what? Our plates are very beautiful and expensive, high quality, so if there's a small chip and no risk of injuring the customer, we keep them. That's just how we are...sorry for being a bit of an environmentalist. The bread? That must have been the kitchen trainee, I think. But what kind of idea is it to ask someone from the kitchen to bring you bread or wine?! The waitresses are there for that...everyone has their job, you see? The dry terrine, the meat, the deplorable service, the cutlery, the glasses...how is it that when you paid you didn't mention any of that? What hypocrisy, what bad faith! Instead of saying it to someone's face, you sit down at your computer, put on your glasses, and rub your hands together to churn out a 50-line review? Pathetic... It's the same if one piece of meat is well-done and the other rare; the size won't be the same. In this matter, you're the one showing your amateurishness... I'm not going to waste any more time replying to you. Just our €29 menu with fresh, local products—I challenge you to find better value for money in the area. After all, eating at "Au Bureau" or "Shamrock" and giving them 5 stars when you know everything comes from Brake or Pomona, or is frozen, makes you wonder if the problem is you and your lack of discernment. We are a REAL restaurant, and you're clearly not used to that... That's the problem! Go to "Les 3 Brasseurs" or "Del Arte" and give them 5 stars... No, sincerely.

The quality of the ingredients mentioned by the manager is not a valid argument; you can find plenty of small restaurants with homemade food and good quality ingredients for much less... a snack break for four at 40 euros is too expensive...

28/01/2026: The bartender who was there this morning from 11am to 12pm was very helpful and efficient, and he even caught up with us in the parking lot to give us a charger we'd forgotten. Thank you to him.

18/01/2026: We had a lovely stay. The room was large, spacious, and very pretty. It had a magnificent view of the garden. We had dinner at La Causerie. Many thanks to Enzo for the delicious cocktails and his friendly manner.

09/04/2026: A strange experience... The display window on the ground floor is enticing, but you can't order what's on offer when you're upstairs. The upstairs menu is complicated to understand... In short, it's off to a bad start. The quiche was okay, nothing special. The accompanying salad was poorly washed. The tabbouleh was bland and tasteless. And what about the mushroom soup... I love a good meal, but this was nothing but watery and medicinal. I understand the decision not to add salt, which is commendable, but please season your dishes. I gave it two stars because the desserts are good and the drink selection is nice. I wouldn't recommend this place for lunch upstairs.

08/04/2026: A tiny slice of leek and salmon quiche—no salmon, no salt, no flavor, as bland as could be; a cup of lentil and carrot soup—no carrots, tasteless except for the taste of water; a cup of equally bland tabbouleh. All for €12.50. Really not great.

26/01/2025: This unmissable place in Compiègne deserves a good 5 star level Service and Ambiance (dedication to Isabelle) nice eh the Guinness in 50. LoL...The cuisine I don't know yet haven't had the opportunity to taste it to see why not.

20/01/2025: I had a veggie burger... No other vegetarian options. Gross I couldn't finish it! Industrial made with meat flavor substitutes.... The burger bun is not good. The dessert on the other hand, crème brûlée, is delicious. The correct service and the smiling lady. My friend had a fish which he enjoyed. I won't come back, I like to have a choice like offering an omelette for example and not frozen!

21/02/2026: I rarely comment on places I visit, but I felt I had to leave a review. My mother, who lives nearby, told me about this restaurant, so I went with my two-year-old son and my mother. The owner and her children took excellent care of us, seated us, and everything went smoothly. There was lovely conversation with my son, and the whole family was very attentive. The food was very good; everything seemed homemade. I had the Norwegian pizza, and it was fantastic! Thank you to the young man for his pleasant service; he was lovely! And thank you to the young woman for being so responsive and kindly offering me a slice of orange tart, which I couldn't refuse because the previous course was so delicious that I simply had to try the desserts! 😮‍💨 THANK YOU! I'll know where to go from now on.

09/02/2026: A regular restaurant when you're in the area. The daily menu changes all the time, the food is very good, and the seating is comfortable.

18/03/2026: My sister and I stopped for an aperitif (a perfectly balanced Americano) and received a very warm welcome, which is a real pleasure these days and is becoming rare. Thank you for this lovely time!
