12/11/2025: Perhaps it was because it was November 11th that the quality wasn't there... The food was mediocre; I ordered a simple, runny omelet with chorizo, which arrived well-cooked but without any chorizo... The Kir as an aperitif was undrinkable. The bill was unclear, with no itemized items and no gesture of goodwill. I won't be back.

23/11/2025: A magnificent dinner at La Table du Connétable: a sublime and subtle moment, with exquisite and refined cuisine. Each dish was a true delight, combining sophistication and originality in an elegant and intimate setting. The attentiveness and kindness of the staff made this mother-son tête-à-tête exceptional, every detail reflecting remarkable care. We spent an excellent, memorable, and delightful evening in an exquisite atmosphere where everything is designed to please the senses and the heart.

23/03/2026: Quick order and service. I ate quite well despite a bad drink and a bad main course at our table. No Irish coffee because "they didn't have the machine." They charged us at the table even though we hadn't finished our desserts.

16/03/2026: So what can I say... The waitresses were smiling, but they forgot three of our four orders. The waitress swept the floor next to us, and to top it all off, there was no one there when we left. It's a shame, I used to like Leon de Bruxelles.

16/03/2026: We went to this restaurant yesterday and ate well, but what a disappointment compared to the previous owners. It's really nothing like it was before. The food was simple, like home cooking, and given the number of starters and main courses, I think they only use frozen food. There's often cheese or dessert, but this time there was no cheese, only desserts. Honestly, we were disappointed. We'll never find what we enjoyed under the previous owners again, which is a shame.

01/03/2026: A very warm welcome and excellent service (we were a table of 25, after all). The food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The dining room was quiet and pleasant. We will definitely be back! 👍

02/04/2026: A major disappointment for a dinner costing over €100 per person. While the decor, inspired by the castle's interior, is remarkable and the drinks excellent, the food is mediocre. For example: the grey shrimp (from frozen), the foie gras ravioli were completely tasteless... or the salty caviar was so overpowering it was almost painful to eat. In short, more pretentious than delicious.

07/03/2026: A wonderful discovery in Venette! Le Méga is a restaurant that pleasantly surprises. From the moment you step inside, you're immersed in the ambiance of a Savoyard chalet, with plenty of wood, warm decor, and intimate spaces reminiscent of mountain inns. The atmosphere is friendly and truly refreshing, especially considering it's so close to Compiègne. The dining room is very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, with tables equally suited to group meals and quieter dinners. The menu offers generous and delicious French cuisine: beautiful cuts of meat, cheese specialties, regional dishes, and a few perfectly executed classics. You can tell the food is made for pleasure, simple yet satisfying. Special mention goes to the exceptionally friendly and attentive service. It's the kind of place where you quickly feel at ease. A welcoming spot where you can have a wonderful time, and where you'll naturally want to return.

21/03/2026: It might be a good restaurant, but making a reservation is essential. Since November, it's been impossible because they're always catering on weekends. They should offer a choice between restaurant and catering options, or at least indicate online that they're closed. This would prevent customers from being turned away every time.

03/02/2026: I strongly advise against going to the Triskell restaurant in Pierrefonds! The manager of this restaurant clearly prioritizes himself over his customers. His own meal, as well as that of his guests, is served before customers who arrived before his guests. I waited an hour for lukewarm galettes with an ingredient I had specifically requested not be included (the waitress confirmed that the ingredient was missing when my dish arrived). After waiting several minutes for the waitress to return so I could inform her that my dish was not as ordered, I took the liberty of asking the manager, who was seated and had finished his meal. He vehemently replied, "Can I eat in peace?" while slamming his hands on the table. This gentleman clearly lacks any sense of customer service, which is a real shame because we have been regular customers for years.

19/03/2026: We were in town for a family weekend. One of our lunch breaks took us to Bistrot de Flandre. We were seated very comfortably; the upholstered banquettes delighted the children. The table was meticulously set, from the white tablecloth to the spotless glassware. The staff were both efficient and discreet. The variety and quality of the dishes were impressive, from appetizer to dessert, and everyone left making sure to note the address of this bistro, which undoubtedly deserves its stars, both for the quality of the food and the reasonable price. So, well done to Bistrot de Flandre!

19/02/2026: We had a wonderful evening. It brought back memories from 30 years ago when I used to go there in my van. Great memories! We received a warm welcome and were lucky because there were only 3 places left for us.

15/03/2026: We came with a wedding gift voucher and had to pay extra for an already expensive menu. The room was cold, so we dressed warmly. The service was disorganized, with one waiter left to his own devices, and several dishes on the menu were unavailable. Overall, a disappointing experience for a wedding gift; I regret my choice.

03/03/2026: We had lunch there as a couple this Sunday and we loved it. The manager was incredibly attentive and offered us delicious traditional cuisine. A truly special moment that we thoroughly enjoyed. We highly recommend it!

23/02/2026: We had a wonderful time yesterday celebrating my husband's birthday. We chose the "gourmet" menu (6 small appetizers + 1 creative main course + 3 mini desserts), which allowed us to discover several perfectly prepared flavors. The service was excellent and very professional. We enjoyed chatting with the two servers and the chef. It was truly a delightful experience, from the ambiance and service to the delicious food! I highly recommend it!

11/02/2026: Disappointed with the value for money. The main course was very greasy (the vegetables were swimming in oil) and lacked flavor. The food didn't live up to the setting. There was a lack of heating in the dining room where dinner was served. This restaurant did not meet my expectations for a 4-star hotel.
