19/06/2026: An average experience. Ordering just a salad and dessert with a glass of wine isn't appreciated at this restaurant; they pressured us into ordering the salad as a main course. Well, no... the salad will suffice, thank you. This has been passed around the kitchen; please be discreet, gentlemen, you are talking about customers who might potentially return. The recipe for gravlax salmon is "raw salmon fillet marinated in coarse salt, sugar, herbs, and lemon," not just ordinary smoked salmon. The same goes for the cervelle de canut; that's not what was in the salad... however, for dessert, there was a real cervelle de canut, but you took revenge with the pepper. Too bad...

20/10/2026: I absolutely did not enjoy the sardine on the €155 menu; this dish has no place in a Michelin-starred restaurant! Otherwise, everything else was perfect! Especially the fig dessert. Highly recommended.

19/10/2026: My husband had booked this restaurant as a surprise for my birthday, and he clearly stated this in his email. Several other people were also celebrating their birthdays that evening and received a small cake with a candle. But I received nothing! My husband was disappointed, which is why I'm leaving this review: if you book a table to celebrate a birthday, remember to remind the staff more than twice, because apparently, that's not always enough.

25/10/2026: Warm welcome This restaurant could perhaps use a breath of fresh air. Very well located, yet not very busy. Nice decor but a somewhat subdued atmosphere; it wouldn't take much to take it to the next level. The children's menu included a classic hamburger steak with an excellent small potato as a side. The calf's head had a very decent taste but could have been more tender. The gizzard salad was very enjoyable. The welcome is very professional and pleasant, which is a strong point. Best of luck.

11/10/2026: We received a very warm welcome, and the waiter was exceptionally efficient! Remember to book for theater nights. We enjoyed the place, but the fish wasn't very fresh and the desserts weren't great.

17/08/2026: A truly wonderful discovery! I absolutely loved **Mazette**. Here, the cuisine focuses on the essentials: beautiful ingredients, impeccable cooking, and dishes brimming with sincerity. There's no need for fuss when the quality of the ingredients is so high. It's exactly the kind of cuisine I appreciate: simple in appearance, but demanding in its execution. You can feel the respect for the ingredients, the expertise, and the desire to please. The welcome is warm, the service attentive, and the atmosphere relaxed, making the experience even more enjoyable. Congratulations to the entire team for this wonderful restaurant where, above all, you come for the taste. I will definitely be back!

09/10/2026: We are outraged. During our meal, we were the victims of an intolerable error: a piece of wire over 5 cm long in our dish! We pointed it out to the waiter, who explained that he would speak to the chef. We never saw him again; the evidence disappeared in his hands in the kitchen. Is it normal to receive such poor service in a Michelin-starred restaurant? And the receptionist asked us why we hadn't reported it, even though that's exactly what we did. She told us: "Sorry, the waiter has left; he's finished his shift." Well done on this completely unacceptable work. If someone had eaten that piece of wire, I can assure you it would have been extremely serious, and I mean it. No explanation or apology was offered. Honestly, no explanation or apology was given. If I could give zero stars, I would without hesitation. Deplorable! What is the world coming to?!

06/10/2026: The overall dining experience is not bad, but this restaurant is very far from other one-Michelin-star establishments we have visited in Spain, the UK, Mexico, Italy, Argentina, Switzerland, or Peru. We came to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and while we understood that booking a bit late (20:30) meant sitting by the window might not be possible, what was unacceptable was the staff's lack of flexibility. Before we were served, a window table became available. Even after we asked to move, the staff declined, arguing that the restaurant was full and they couldn't accommodate us. As for the food, although it was good, my wife found fish bones left in her sardine dish. Additionally, the best dish on the menu—their signature dish—was not included in the standard menu and had to be ordered separately at an extra cost of €90. I will return to Lyon, as there must be better places than this—probably with worse views, but definitely with better service and food.

22/10/2026: As British visitors looking for a Lyonnaise dining experience we couldn't have been better served. The atmosphere is softly-lit, classic French bistro.The staff were knowledge and attentive without being intrusive, and they were happy to indulge me by dealing with me in French at my preference, though the effortlessly fluent English they spoke to an adjacent table would have saved them time and effort. We were unpretentiously made to feel special throughout; that isn't easy to do. The food was exactly what we came for; classic Lyonnaise cuisine; rich, delicious and well-portioned, and accompanied by excellent and fairly-priced wine. Two courses were enough for us (although I don't doubt the desserts were equally excellent). The food was iconic, the service was classically excellent, and we didn't feel overcharged for anything, it was great value. Les Enfants Terribles exceeded all expectations; strongly recommended.
