The appetizers and main courses were excellent, flavorful, generous, and very hearty. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. 19/06/2026: An average experience. Ordering just a salad and dessert with a glass of wine isn't appreciated at this restaurant; they pressured us into ordering the salad as a main course. Well, no... the salad will suffice, thank you. This has been passed around the kitchen; please be discreet, gentlemen, you are talking about customers who might potentially return. The recipe for gravlax salmon is "raw salmon fillet marinated in coarse salt, sugar, herbs, and lemon," not just ordinary smoked salmon. The same goes for the cervelle de canut; that's not what was in the salad... however, for dessert, there was a real cervelle de canut, but you took revenge with the pepper. Too bad...

06/09/2026: An enchanting place where you can discover Lyon from the comfort of your table. A very good meal with flavorful regional dishes, presented with originality. Impeccable and friendly service. We had a wonderful time as a family. Plus, the location is magical, nestled between the Roman Theatre and Fourvière. We will definitely return.

19/04/2026: We bought a chocolate cake in this shop, an unusual shape: long and narrow, with dark chocolate icing and hazelnuts. The saleswoman really sold us on it, saying, "You'll see!"... And see we did. A cake that was several days old, dry and dense, with no finesse whatsoever. Absolutely no appeal.

14/09/2026: A very warm welcome from the moment we arrived and throughout the meal! The outdoor seating is quiet and separate from the main square, offering a more intimate terrace. Excellent value for money on the main courses and desserts! Highly recommended 😉

26/08/2026: Very disappointed with the Domino's Pizza in the 7th arrondissement. I used to order from the one in the 5th when I still lived there, but this one was terrible. The pizza dough didn't seem cooked, everything was flat and inedible. Paying €20 for nothing to eat, I'm very disappointed and I'm hungry... I request a refund, please.

16/07/2026: The service is pleasant and friendly, but it's bad. No one asks for an aperitif or coffee, and the bread is taken from other tables, so you end up with a piece that everyone else has touched. I ordered an entrecôte with Saint Marcellin sauce, but I got a steak with a sweet sauce and not a single bit of cheese. The meat was poor quality, and to top it off, the dish was cold: a complete disaster! It's a shame because the fries could have been good if they'd been hot. Would I recommend it? NO. PS: The Black Sheriff is 3 years old, not 12… At €10 for 5cl (like Madkaud), it's a real rip-off.

11/08/2026: Excellent food, with a constantly changing menu (one dish every week, and one dish every day). The portions are generous, made with fresh, seasonal ingredients. The dishes and ingredients are always evolving. All for under €10. The service is perfect; Edouard and Emma are kind, attentive, and take great care of their customers. The best place in Lyon for an easy, quick, and delicious lunch.

23/08/2026: The coffee gave us terrible stomach aches and tasted awful. After we sent the syrup back with water because it had feathers in it, they brought it back to us in a horribly disgusting glass (see photo, very, very, very dirty).

16/12/2025: Tasty and creative dishes, a wide selection of both the à la carte and daily menus; a good selection of wines. I particularly appreciated the care taken in preparing the vegan dish with grilled vegetables and bean puree.
