30/01/2026: A string of mediocrities. Table in a draft. Disorganized service. Amuse-bouche served before the ordered bottle of champagne. Presentation of the wrong bottle of wine, already opened! Presentation of the digestif trolley during the cheese course. Hot dish served cold. Manager nowhere to be seen. When it came time to pay the bill of over €1000, not a word of apology or a gesture of goodwill. In short, unworthy of their reputation. The service is more professional in some of the smaller restaurants in the area. Avoid at all costs!

06/01/2026: The food was excellent, the staff young and friendly, and the ambiance was fantastic. However, what bothered me somewhat was the smell of the glasses; the dishwasher smell was quite noticeable, especially when drinking a glass of water – that's unnecessary.

30/01/2026: I came for lunch yesterday; the welcome was lovely and the food delicious. However, what I found embarrassing was that the chef was constantly being reprimanded, and I could hear everything. But I will never forget the exceptional quality of the beef. I also regularly have my coffee there; I really enjoy it.

31/12/2025: What is this inedible chocolate ice cream?? I took a teaspoon of ice cream and immediately spat it out! How can you make ice cream that bad? Even the worst store-bought ice cream at 15 cents for a 35-pack is better

31/12/2025: 6 euros for a "hot chocolate" that turned out to be cocoa powder diluted in milk, served in cardboard cups. And it was so diluted it was more white than brown. This is extremely disappointing for an ice cream parlor, especially considering the price.

31/01/2026: A restaurant we love to visit for lunch, not only for a break from work but especially for the warm welcome, the relaxing atmosphere, their daily specials—always delicious, (very) generous portions, made with seasonal, market-fresh ingredients—all at an excellent price (daily special, dessert, and coffee for €15.90). Located within the hotel, the restaurant is lovely, bathed in natural light from the veranda. A special mention goes to the team: Manon (with her smile and sense of humor), Anaïs (friendly and discreet), and the Head Chef, whose mastery of cooking both meat and fish we serve deserves a special mention, as does the generous portion size. This place has become our go-to spot, and we're not exactly picky eaters (Manon can attest to that) ;))

01/03/2026: BEST SAVOYARD RESTAURANT!!! Reservations are essential as this restaurant is quite popular. The raclette is to die for and all-you-can-eat!!!

28/02/2026: A place with a great atmosphere! The fondue is delicious and the service is perfect; everything is replenished without even having to ask! Special mention for the melted cheese and the raclette crusts 😍 I highly recommend it!

01/03/2026: We went to eat on the recommendation of the girl who gave us the free tour. We didn't wait long; the set menu was €19.90. The place was tiny, with tables crammed together, so you could eat almost next to strangers—very unpleasant. We ordered our food, and after waiting a while and watching everyone else being served before us, our first course arrived: a fairly decent onion soup and some puff pastry filled with cheese—nothing special. For our second course, we ordered three typical Lyonnais dishes: quenelle de brochette (like a fish croquette) – bland, tasteless, dry, in short, a disaster; sassiccion or something like that, a typical sausage-like dish, dry and bland; and meat with sauce and some potatoes that were burnt underneath. The whole thing was a mess, honestly, a horrible meal. Oh, and I forgot to mention, drinks weren't included in the menu, so we ordered house wine. My fault for not checking the price because they charged me almost €18 for 46cl – outrageous! I'm speechless. If Lyon is the capital of French gastronomy, I don't know what I mean.

27/02/2026: A wonderful discovery! This traditional Lyonnais bistro is perfectly located for exploring the historic district. The menu is lovely, with plenty of choice... The food is delicious and the portions are generous! The atmosphere is truly pleasant, the service is efficient, and yet it was packed! By the way, remember to book ahead! Thank you to the servers and the owner! We'll be back!

06/03/2026: Very disappointed. The service was practically nonexistent, and the tapas served were ridiculously small. The unpleasant smell upon entering the restrooms was uninviting. A single small light barely concealed the mess... white powder was visible on the floor and on a black edge conveniently placed for plugging in... the place is not to be frequented.

06/03/2026: Great lunch at Plan B! The service on the terrace is quick and very well organized, and the food is delicious thanks to the new chef! Don't hesitate for a great time in the sun.

16/03/2026: Excellent restaurant. In the sense that we're talking about excellence: better cream, better butter, better poultry, etc. Try the chicken in cream sauce (€38); it's a thousand times better than a certain Monsieur P. The foie gras terrine starter (€30) is perfect. The fried egg with caviar (€60) isn't worth the price, but it's very good. The risotto is exemplary: creamy, rich, and fragrant. The desserts are a notch below, but we were already at a very high level (the soufflé is excellent). In short, come here for gourmet cuisine from the Bresse/Lyon region (Marguin was at Les Echets), classic and generous.

28/02/2026: Disappointment While the setting is pleasant, the service is very, even too, fast. The disappointment lies with the dessert: the tarte tatin. In fact, it resembled a classic apple tart with a soggy crust. The caramel had been added as a sauce. What a shame.
