05/09/2026: Unbeatable value for money on the street. However, be aware that this is traditional French cuisine! Listening to some reviews, you'd think they were from people who've never actually eaten it. It's French, so yes, there's butter, there's cream, there's flavor.

05/09/2026: Not bad. But something was missing. I wasn't happy with the onion soup. I think it's a parody of soup. I'll give it a 4 because I finished the portion. The price isn't justified; it's very expensive. Also, the fan above was spinning, blowing air into my back. The wait for the dish was also long.

20/09/2026: If I could give 100 stars, I would, hands down! The welcome, the friendliness, the kindness of the staff truly deserve applause. It's so rare to come across such kind people! They immediately put you at ease! Yesterday, we were desperately searching for a restaurant to eat at! And after several calls, we stumbled upon them, who were closing their kitchen at 3 a.m.! And frankly, just for that, they deserve all the gold in the world! And to tell you the truth, the food is just incredibly good! I recommend it 1000%! What's certain is that we'll be back, but not just the two of us this time! A huge thank you, truly! 🙏🏾🤍

The staff are clearly very knowledgeable and gave us an incredibly warm welcome, with extraordinary kindness, making us feel at ease from the very first moment. A great atmosphere and a delicious meal. Don't hesitate, I recommend it 1000%! We will definitely be back, and the kitchens are open until 3 a.m.!

03/02/2026: It all started with a birthday gift from the Confluence shopping center. I decided to try the Vapiano restaurant. What a treat! I received a very warm welcome (from the blue-eyed waiter); He didn't hesitate to suggest a different dish than the one I had chosen—kudos for his professionalism! The restaurant's atmosphere is superb, with great background music. I really want to thank him for his kind gesture at the end of my meal, which made the experience truly special. I highly recommend it!

01/02/2026: An extremely disappointing experience on every level. The food arrived barely lukewarm: undercooked pasta, bland, tasteless pizzas. There was no skill in the kitchen, and no enjoyment in eating. The service was incomprehensibly slow, especially since the restaurant requires ordering via QR code and payment before being served, ostensibly to save time. Given the poor quality of the meal, one wonders if this system isn't simply a way to avoid complaints or prevent customers from leaving without paying. Drinks are advertised as available on the app, but then suddenly become unavailable once the order is placed. For children, the syrup cups were sticky and served without any care. As for family-friendly options, it was a complete failure: all the tables were high, but the high chairs weren't the right height, making the meal uncomfortable and unsafe. And only three high chairs for a full restaurant speaks volumes about the consideration given to families. The desserts are just like everything else: tasteless, poorly executed, and underwhelming. To top it all off, the value for money is simply shameful considering the service offered. This establishment is poorly managed and disorganized, with no regard for quality or customer comfort. It's an address that charges a premium for a mediocre experience and is clearly not worth the trip.

31/12/2025: What is this inedible chocolate ice cream?? I took a teaspoon of ice cream and immediately spat it out! How can you make ice cream that bad? Even the worst store-bought ice cream at 15 cents for a 35-pack is better

31/12/2025: 6 euros for a "hot chocolate" that turned out to be cocoa powder diluted in milk, served in cardboard cups. And it was so diluted it was more white than brown. This is extremely disappointing for an ice cream parlor, especially considering the price.

30/07/2026: Got turned away for not being French! Staff extremely rude … don’t bother !

30/07/2026: The staff were extremely rude. They claimed they had stopped serving five minutes earlier, but then continued serving other customers. We were the only ones turned away, and we believe it was because we didn’t speak French. This was a very disappointing experience, and we did not feel welcome.

25/08/2026: Highly recommended, and above all, so "un-touristy" French. We had a really nice waiter who got along well with us Germans.

31/07/2026: The manager can't answer simple questions in English, the baguettes are placed next to the toilets, and there are no croissants left by 10 a.m. Is this really a French café?

30/08/2026: Inflation has clearly affected apples too… to the point of making them disappear. This morning, my friend went to PAUL to buy pastries. Two baskets of doughnuts were on display, one with a beautiful "apple" label and, of course, the price tag to match. So he ordered four of those in addition to four chocolate ones. At the checkout, in a kind gesture, they offered him two more at a discount. Thank you, PAUL! Back home, he opened his haul and, lo and behold, a miracle. Five plain doughnuts. Not an apple. Not a single piece. Not even a faint trace of applesauce. So yes, it's hot. Very hot. Perhaps the apples suffered from the heatwave and decided to take a break. We respect that. However, their price was very much present. The plain doughnuts were charged at the same price as the apple doughnuts. The apple has thus become a concept. Invisible in the doughnut, but perfectly visible on the receipt. And since we're talking about a premium experience, no bag was offered. When asked for one, "It'll be 10 cents." So we would have preferred a slightly different arrangement. Two fewer doughnuts, the four apples we actually paid for extra, and perhaps a bag to take everything home.

29/08/2026: I ordered a medium latte, but it was tiny—almost a small! Where's the milk? This has happened several times now. You're supposed to get a more generous amount of coffee when you eat in. It's ridiculous.

22/09/2026: I was very disappointed by my experience at this café-restaurant. The manager's welcome was disrespectful to customers. A clear lack of professionalism completely ruined the experience. Service and business require a minimum level of courtesy.

05/09/2026: A fantastic evening at Les Marmottes restaurant! The Savoyard fondue was excellent, and the all-you-can-eat raclette was absolutely divine 😍 A must-visit for any self-respecting Marmotte 😁

09/07/2026: I made a reservation online, called several times without an answer, only to find out the restaurant is closed, even though it's listed as open on Google Maps. It's like playing Russian roulette. There's no information about the closure anywhere.

19/09/2026: The service was a disaster. I was refused a table on the terrace in the middle of summer because I was wearing shorts… For a café in Lyon, that's incomprehensible! And when the owner, Olivier Farissier, replied, "Well, buy some clothes and come back and sit down," it was frankly contemptuous. An establishment can have its rules, but that doesn't excuse them from speaking properly to their customers. There was absolutely no sense of hospitality or business etiquette in this exchange. An unacceptable experience that makes me have absolutely no desire to return.

Everything is beautiful: the owners, the service, the food, the atmosphere, and it's only 2 minutes from the train station. Bravo to La Pause Gourmande! Zyad lives up to its name. 27/08/2026: Dog food. Ordered for home delivery. Never tried it in person. First and last time. The undercooked and potentially stale kebabs and the miso soup were awful; the salmon chirashi, however, was okay.
