24/05/2026: Friendly and welcoming service. I recommend it for a quick coffee.

07/03/2026: Okay for a quick fix, but definitely not a bakery. It was only after I'd ordered everything that the cashier said she didn't accept credit cards (it was written on a tiny piece of paper behind her). I had to go home to get change because, on top of everything else, there wasn't an ATM nearby. And to top it all off, the food wasn't even very good. In short, it was a bad experience.

20/05/2026: Places that know how to make truly delicious cookies that are never dry and always soft are very rare. Harvels is one of them! Cool grilled sandwiches, and a room big enough to sit comfortably.

10/05/2026: I've had better coffee at a motorway service station. For a place with "coffee" in its name, this isn't really acceptable.

30/06/2026: €10 for two Perriers. End of joke.

22/06/2026: Absolutely terrible, nothing to say, it deserves a -10. The waitress was unfriendly and incredibly slow, the food was bad, and the brasserie and toilets were filthy. Very noisy place! Plus, it's ridiculously expensive for what it is! I strongly advise against this disgusting brasserie!!

07/05/2026: No credit card accepted for purchases under €5? Ten minutes to make two cocktails when the terrace is empty? A nonchalant waiter in PR, slapping his gum like a teenager even though he's 50? Really not great at all.

06/06/2026: I really like this bakery, even though it's a bit of a walk. I always try to go to this one rather than others because I find the quality of the products better, especially the savory items. The hot snacks melt in your mouth. If I had to give just one small criticism, it's that I used to get hot snacks with milder cheeses, but now almost all the hot savory options contain strong cheeses, which are impossible for me to eat. It's a shame they don't offer one or two options for the "tartine des canuts" (a type of open-faced sandwich) with simple Gruyère or Comté cheese. I'm not taking away a star because these are just my personal preferences, and the products are otherwise excellent.

18/04/2026: I bought a tuna sandwich an hour after vomiting. I ended up with a nasty stomach bug. The saleswomen's service was appalling; they had no business being there. It was a first, and a last, and I'll never go back.

08/04/2026: I am truly disgusted and sickened by this first experience in this place, particularly by the behavior of one employee (the redhead) which borders on the ridiculous and provocative, with an aggressive tone and inappropriate words, and who has failed in her vocation as a jailer.

15/06/2026: I'm a regular at this place for their dark chocolate succès, which I love whenever I'm back in Lyon... but that's over! I bought two on Friday afternoon, so nearly €14 worth! I kept them cold for transport (as I always do): cooler, ice pack, and fridge. It's Monday, and I was looking forward to biting into my succès... What a disappointment, what a waste! Straight to the bin because of mold! I've never had this problem in all the time I've been transporting them, even when eating them more than 7 days later.

30/04/2026: Excuse me, but the brioche was terribly bland and dry. Nothing tempting or flavorful about it, despite appearances. Disappointed. The staff were friendly.

10/06/2026: It's impossible to sell this: the burger bun I bought at 1 p.m. was rock hard and gave me a stomach ache. The apple tart wasn't good either. So, money and products wasted. On the other hand, the person who served me was very friendly.

22/04/2026: Very cold welcome, no smiles whatsoever. I absolutely do not recommend it and I will never go back!
