30/07/2026: I'm impressed by the responsiveness of this roadside assistance team that serves the Chénas area. Alex arrived at my house within 20 minutes on Saturday evening, at a time when I was worried I'd have to spend the night with a flat tire. She was attentive, patient, and quick, which saved me a lot of trouble. The quoted price was honored, which isn't always the case. I'm keeping her number safe.

08/06/2026: Magnificent restaurant, beautiful view of the Beaujolais vineyards, very peaceful. Cuisine by great chefs. Attentive service. Thank you to them. Surprise cake 🍰. Yes, a year ago I had lunch with my wife for her birthday. Surprise! I arranged for her to receive some treats with the help of the restaurant. Affordable, and they made the surprise cake the waitress had promised, in addition to the cakes on the menu. My wife, of course, ordered the surprise cake; yes, my wife was curious. Strawberry cake with 🕯️. Recently I lost my wife, and I intend to return to cherish the memory we shared. Thank you to the team. Mr. B.

14/08/2026: Very limited choices at lunchtime. The staff were unhelpful; you felt like you were bothering them. The place wasn't welcoming, the tables were messy and dirty, and there were cobwebs everywhere, and they'd been there for a while. I'm already not a fan of Marie Blachère bakeries because the places aren't welcoming when you're taking a lunch break after a long journey, but this one has completely changed my mind. 😞

21/07/2026: Big, big sandwiches, big pizza slices. Loved it.

06/08/2026: It's a shame the calzone wasn't made with bread dough. The price was reasonable, and the service was good. The overall presentation could be improved.

11/07/2026: Pizza and fish to forget. Both dishes had the impression of being frozen, like those from the supermarket, and cooked in the oven (the pizza) or in the microwave (the fish). The pizza, perfectly round in shape, had a thin, flavorless crust, as did the tomato sauce and cheese, considering they are the main ingredients of pizza. The fish, grayish on the inside rather than white, was slimy and flavorless, and had the classic consistency of something defrosted in the microwave and then undercooked. I'm sorry to say it, but this dinner was one of the worst my wife and I have ever had, far from the standards of even "tourist" restaurants, where the quality of the food, as we all know, isn't often the reason people go there.

17/08/2026: Good restaurant where everything is homemade, even the sauces…ketchups, tartar sauce…! Nice setting.

08/08/2026: Had a dinner here - 1 faux fillet steak + 1 entrecote ( small salad + fries included ) - just drank water, but wine, bien sûr, available. Food decent, owner ( manager ?) very courteous / efficient; young waitress a bit dozy / impatient

19/08/2026: I don't understand people who give rave reviews but only 4 stars. The restaurant business is getting tougher and tougher, and when you're lucky enough to have a wonderful time in such an establishment, you give it 5 stars! That's just my humble opinion. For my first visit, I was won over by the warm welcome, the variety of options, the elegant presentation of the dishes, and of course, the exquisite flavor of everything the charming owner generously placed on our plates...and in our glasses (in moderation, of course). Bravo and thank you to her and also to the chef! As a bonus, the bill was quite reasonable...

16/07/2026: Very warm welcome, very clean establishment, excellent food, everything homemade. A very good place to eat.
