26/08/2026: Delicious! This restaurant has such lovely and friendly service. The waiter took plenty of time to speak with us and share his recommendations in good English. There is also a wide selection of homemade desserts. Tip for people with celiac disease: gluten-free bread is available (for an extra charge) to accompany the fondue 🫕

23/08/2026: I had the worst case of food poisoning in my life and I'm barely recovering. I ordered the Asian-style steak tartare, and just writing the word makes me nauseous. I had to be given two IV drips to rehydrate, which is very difficult in the mountains. The food apparently arrives already prepared (even though it's advertised as homemade), and the cold chain is clearly not being maintained. I didn't think I was risking my life by eating at this restaurant, and in hindsight, I didn't want to post a review, but the consequences were too serious for me not to do my part by warning people not to order their steak tartare. My mother spoke on the phone with someone from the restaurant who denied any responsibility in this problem; however, it has been proven by the fire department, the hospital services in Bourg-Saint-Maurice, and the Vallandry medical center that I suffered very serious food poisoning from what I ate at this restaurant. Perhaps the other dishes were a little more palatable, but I'm still recovering from a major health scare because of a single meal. I'm not expecting answers, compensation, or even apologies (they weren't offered initially): this is a matter of public awareness. Don't eat their steak tartare.

23/08/2026: I came to celebrate my 30th birthday there a month or two ago, and what a nightmare! The waiter was completely clueless, unpleasant, and didn't understand anything we asked for. The food was low quality for the price of a semi-gastronomic restaurant. What a disappointment! Luckily, I hadn't chosen the restaurant; they thought they were treating me to a place with a lake view, but I'd rather eat well than see the bill my family incurred for such poor quality. Especially since I see the lake every day. The owner seemed nice, but well, that won't save anything.

22/08/2026: Kind gentleman stayed open past their normal closing time to serve us delicious salads with a great view of the lake! 😃

03/09/2026: Limited menu options – the combos include nigiri, but not à la carte. The kitchen is dirty, and so is the chef...it doesn't inspire much confidence...the service, however, was impeccable. An ordinary place...right off the highway and OK – the view further on is very nice...but that doesn't justify the frozen tempura shrimp and other very ordinary appetizers...high prices for such a shabby place...

31/08/2026: Impeccable service, but a poorly maintained setting We came as a couple, drawn by a menu with rather high-end prices, but the overall experience was disappointing. The positives: The staff is professional, courteous, and welcoming. No complaints about the service. Areas for improvement: Maintenance of the setting: The terrace could use a real refresh (the wood is quite damaged), and the immediate surroundings remain very noisy with the road below. Cleanliness of the menus: The menus provided were unfortunately very stained, which detracts from the overall impression and doesn't inspire confidence in the overall hygiene. The drink selection: The menu is a bit limited; we would have appreciated simpler options (like a kir) rather than being forced to order cocktails. Feeling uneasy about the cleanliness of the menus, we exceptionally chose not to stay for our meal. It's a shame because the staff are truly lovely, but the place deserves more attention to detail to live up to its price expectations.

11/05/2026: Excellent restaurant right on the slopes. They offer several local specialties. I particularly recommend the "boîte chaude" (a type of hot pot), the tartiflette, and the duck breast. The service is very friendly, though sometimes a little slow. Highly recommended.

04/05/2026: Thank you for this superb experience! Summer or winter, it's THE place to be in La Plagne. Whether it's for a hot chocolate in the morning, delicious paninis for lunch, or a nice cold pint of beer after a day on the slopes… a true paradise for skiers!

21/08/2026: The food was quite good, but I don't understand how a restaurant located in a tourist area can refuse payment methods such as holiday vouchers and restaurant vouchers!

22/08/2026: Excellent meal and great value for money. Generous portions, fast service, pleasant and quiet atmosphere. One small drawback: we would have liked to be able to change the toppings on the à la carte dishes and especially to be able to choose the flavors of the sorbet!

21/08/2026: The food is delicious and plentiful, and the welcome is always friendly. The view of the lake and the Granier mountain never gets old, adding to the pleasure of going there.

08/04/2026: The hotel may not be the newest, but it's perfectly located and has a great atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff. Two restaurants serve delicious meals. A well-equipped exercise room and a fairly large swimming pool. A ski room with lockers and boot warmers. Direct access to three Meribel Mottaret ski lifts.

05/04/2026: I really enjoyed my stay at the Mont Vallon. The hotel itself worked so well for us - Friendly and efficient staff, good food, great ambience and an absolutely great location.
