18/04/2026: A very bad experience. The service was mediocre, completely unprofessional, even disrespectful. The food was equally mediocre. The starter was an Italian salad with a lot of lettuce and three slices of pancetta… The main course was fried cod, the fries were reheated and arrived lukewarm, and the cod was very salty and swimming in water… I will never go back! I do not recommend it.

15/02/2026: We came with friends on a Wednesday evening. We all ordered Savoyard dishes, and they were delicious! (The charcuterie was particularly good). We received a warm welcome and the bill was reasonable.

14/02/2026: A mountain restaurant where we are always warmly welcomed with a big smile and a magnificent view. The food is excellent and reasonably priced.

24/04/2026: I knew this place very well as a child; I have fond memories of it. But today, it's time to offer at least one dish without meat or fish. You also need to clean up your menu (it's missing pages, there's no list of non-alcoholic drinks, and no dessert menu; we received two menus for three people). I ordered a salad, which I barely ate because there was too much dressing. The fries were good, especially the homemade mayonnaise. My grandparents, on the other hand, enjoyed their meal. I hope you'll improve these things, though, because the place is still nice.

23/04/2026: I came to this café with some friends, and the experience was quite disappointing. The service was really lacking: the waiter's behavior was unprofessional, even questionable, and he handled the glasses by putting his fingers on the rims or in the crisps being served, which isn't very hygienic. Especially when the crisps were just the crumbs from the end of the bag. Furthermore, I ordered a Cristal rosé, advertised at €3.50, but I was charged €4.20, without any explanation. It's a shame.

22/04/2026: I came to eat with my family. We were served quickly, but only 3 of the 4 plates arrived. For the 4th, we had to wait more than 10 minutes. The food was relatively good, although very expensive. If you experienced the same thing, please like this comment so it gets seen.

28/02/2026: A stop on the holiday route. Quick and friendly service. Quality food. Children's menu at €12.50. Generous shepherd's pies. Recommended.

18/05/2026: Terrible, the meat was way overcooked, the rice and duck paste were awful, and worst of all, the frozen dessert was unacceptable. Plus, the noise was unbearable, with children playing (not their fault). The location wasn't good either. I don't recommend this place.

18/05/2026: Delicious homemade lasagne, well served with a lovely tasty salad, excellent service and a very friendly waiter who looks a bit like Roman Frayssinet (; thank you!

12/04/2026: The raclette fume was a good taste. Although the place was so smelly once you enter, all kitchen smell was in all over the place, that’s why gave 3 starts. Otherwise it might worth trying again.

07/04/2026: I have been coming to this restaurant for 10 years now and it was a tradition to always dine there on the last night. We went in to book a table 5 days beforehand. When we turned up for our meal the hostess said we didn't have a booking despite it being her who made the booking 5 days prior. She was also rude about it and didn't apologise and just went "well we can't sit you so can just go elsewhere". I tried to push for a resolution but she didn't care and still failed to apologise. We were left at 9pm on a Friday night having to scramble to find somewhere to sit 8 people. I have recommended this restaurant to many people over the years. I shall no longer be doing this and in fact I will be recommending people DON'T go. It goes without saying that we will never go back if that's how they treat customers. The reality is that there are plenty of great restaurants literally round the corner that don't have rude or incompetent staff so just go there instead.

14/04/2026: Well, as usual, it was incredible!!!! Everything was great. The staff, the rooms, the food. I ate incredibly well, maybe even too much! The atmosphere was also fantastic. In short, we'll gladly go back!

10/04/2026: our week at Le Chabichou couldn’t have been a more pleasant experience between the Concierge and reception desk staff and the managers, the drivers, the spa (lucy my masseuse) the Restaurants both la Sidonie and Le Chabichou with Michelin star Chep Buron we were fortunate experience a special “quartre maison” 4 hands /2 Great Chef’s

25/01/2026: It's in a beautiful spot next to a drag lift, with stunning views in both directions. The staff is friendly and speaks English. Reservations are recommended, as it's very small, and food is only served indoors in winter. We loved this place! We ended up going here three times during our vacation.

20/01/2026: Not worth the detour. Its lunch time and the restaurant is empty, but the lady said they are busy and its impossible to eat. Suggested to go to a different place - wonderful attitude and service.

27/02/2026: Cozy setting with two rooms. Bar service with a fairly extensive beer selection. It's a shame the wine selection is so limited.

20/01/2026: Fantasic place to chill and sip on a few beers. Charlie is great!! I'm english, my wife is spanish and our friends are french, and he could interact, speak and have a laugh with us all in our own languages! Top man!! We'll be back!

22/03/2026: One of the absolute best hotels I've ever stayed at! Absolutely magnificent and wonderful service. It was absolutely amazing, bravo! A hotel you just have to go back to!

15/03/2026: We stayed at the Hotel Le Blizzard in Val d'Isère for a week last year and loved the experience. Unfortunately, this second stay was somewhat disappointing in several ways. 1. The reception staff weren't particularly welcoming. 2. Housekeeping didn't come to our room every night, and even when they did, they didn't always leave water. Two nights, we found our pajamas, which had been on the bed, on other furniture—quite surprising for a hotel of this standard. 3. Breakfast was also disappointing: several dishes were cold on multiple occasions. 4. Dinner at the La Luge restaurant was terrible. 5. We unfortunately booked a massage at the spa on the wrong day (an error on our part, which we fully acknowledge). However, we would have appreciated a bit more flexibility from the hotel, for example, the possibility of rebooking at least one of the two massages free of charge or at a discount. 320 euros down the drain. It wasn't all bad, though: the room was very nice and the bar always has a great atmosphere in the evening, very cozy! We also had a fantastic dinner at La Mourra.

29/04/2026: Hello, I made a reservation on Booking.com for a stay over the May 1st weekend. Arriving from Paris, the TGV train is affected by construction work at Gare de Lyon, causing significant delays both ways. I have repeatedly tried to contact customer service to find a solution that would prevent me from losing my reservation and the €178 I paid. No offer has been made, even though Booking.com confirms that it depends on the goodwill of the institution. No reasonable or helpful communication has been possible. Is it normal for a service that claims to be a service provider to act this way, especially in a city that wants to be open to the world? For your information, I have already experienced this situation, which was always resolved through friendly and respectful communication. A hotel's image is revealed not only by the cleanliness of its rooms or spa, but, in my opinion, by its ability to accommodate guests' needs. Today, this hotel earned €178 but certainly lost a customer. This doesn't seem to affect its management.

22/12/2025: I came for dinner one evening during the week, my first time at this restaurant. The waitress was incredibly friendly. I chose the ribeye steak and it was delicious! I'll definitely be back to try the tartiflette! Quite a few plates went by and they all looked very tempting. See you soon! 😊
