28/04/2026: The location is very pleasant, but there's a major drawback: the soundproofing is poor, both from the outside and from neighboring apartments. The nights are very noisy.

27/04/2026: Perfect residence for a week of skiing...located in the heart of the resort, right at the foot of the slopes...parking 200m away...shops very close by... Top-notch apartment...and the staff's welcome and friendliness were impeccable.

21/06/2025: We left very disappointed with our experience at this restaurant, not because of the food or the atmosphere, which were truly excellent, but because of the bill management. We ordered two €39 menus, one of which included a €2 supplement for a prime rib. We added two kirs at €5 each and a glass of wine at €7. This brought our total to €97. However, we were billed €128. On leaving, we found this surprising, did the math, and decided to come back and ask for an explanation. The person in charge checked very quickly, without really listening to our comments, and ultimately only refunded us €14, without any clear justification or goodwill gesture. We found this a real shame, because the meal was good, but the unprofessional attitude and lack of transparency on the bill completely spoiled the experience. Paying far more than you should, without any real explanation or consideration, is unacceptable.

13/04/2026: Eaten there twice and got a pizza to go once. Both delicious food and super friendly people there. We will definitely come back to eat a few times next year when we are on our skiing holiday! Kind regards, Bart Flamand

11/04/2026: Very unfriendly woman. Ordered 2 pizzas from their vending machine and only received 1 without any refund.. If you go there to eat in the restaurant, she reacts very rudely saying they have no space, yet all the tables are empty for an hour.. So we took pizzas to go and wanted to eat them on their terrace since there was no one there anyway. Then she comes outside very angrily to tell us to clear off.. The man in the shop is very friendly, but the woman is a real sourpuss.

02/03/2026: Great little budget hotel. Perfect location, rooms well furnished and decent breakfast. The only minor improvement would be more shampoo and toilet roll in the bathrooms.

21/02/2026: Everything was perfect. A simple hotel with a great location, delicious food, and excellent service. Both the breakfast and restaurant staff were friendly and always smiling. We'll definitely be back!

05/05/2026: Excellent restaurant, the staff is very responsive and friendly. I highly recommend it; it's very well located and perfectly captures the Savoyard theme with its decor and high-quality dishes. They even accept dogs and are very welcoming; the waitress kindly provided me with a bowl.

01/05/2026: The welcome was appalling despite specific requests for the reservation; the team was unable to find a suitable solution, and we preferred to leave this establishment and go to establishments more attentive to customers.

25/03/2026: A terrace with panoramic views. The food is excellent: the salads, burgers, and Savoyard dishes are impeccable. Fast and friendly service. We ate there three days in a row.

03/05/2026: Regarding the Premium apartment: Leaky sink, dirty dishes. Ski locker doesn't lock. The assigned parking space is not being respected by other guests. The restaurant was closed. No breakfast was offered except for pastries. Very good location and beautiful view of the slopes. Very pleasant staff. Very nice spa.

27/03/2026: Nice hotel, good sized rooms, nice small bar, great access to the slopes. The issue which may be unique to the room we had was that it stank of cigarettes smoke each night. We spoke to the front desk but nothing was done about it. It really made the hotel stay of our holiday a let down. We will not stay again.

24/10/2025: A friend and I decided to spend a week in Les Chapieux exploring the valleys and discovering the local flora and fauna. It wasn't until the third night that we decided to dine at the Auberge de La Nova. As soon as we sat down, the La Nova burger caught our eye on the menu, and we didn't even have to speak before the owner immediately guessed what we wanted! He said, "You'll see, it's amazing." Well, he wasn't lying. From the first bite, my friend and I looked at each other and it was indeed amazing! It was so good that we decided to come back every night of the week, and that's exactly what we did! The burgers are incredible. We also tried a few desserts, including the Pavlova and the chocolate fondant, which were also truly to die for. The welcome was super warm: the waiters, the cooks, the owner, and his wife were all lovely and friendly. It was heartbreaking to have to leave on the last day... but one thing is certain: we'll be back! And this time, we'll go every night of our stay to enjoy La Nova's delicious burger :) Thank you so much 🙏 Les Petits Suisses 🐍

27/09/2025: Basic auberge in Les Chapieux. It is probably the main option on this part of the TMB with the next hut “Refuge des Mottets” a good distance away. Big campsite in front of the auberge - campers welcome to utilise the facilities in the hut so get your showers in early. Dorms were a little crammed and beds very squeaky. Dinner was good and really hearty - Chicken Velasquez, rice, and a delicious soup. Breakfast might as well have not been served it was so pathetic. Packed lunch was good though.

11/02/2026: The staff were friendly and always attentive. The meal was generous and delicious, served in a beautiful setting.

10/04/2026: Fantastic grocery store with regional products! I tried their Morbier cheese, Raclette, and Smoked Raclette; everything was delicious, but a special mention goes to the Smoked Raclette, which was particularly good! They also offer roast chickens that are very tasty, perfectly seasoned with spices, and wonderfully juicy—perfect for a comforting meal. The snack bar, open all day, is also a great option for a quick bite or an afternoon treat, especially with a delicious Liège waffle. Don't leave without trying the walnut tart—it's absolutely delicious!

24/03/2026: The man was not very pleasant; he even suggested my wife had stolen a bar of chocolate. A sad shopkeeper.
