25/09/2026: I was very disappointed with this meal. The tartiflette was truly awful: there was far too much cheese, and the charcuterie seemed to be of very average quality. You could almost find the same thing in a supermarket. The pizza was even worse: undercooked and, in my opinion, simply inedible. More generally, the problem lies primarily with the food: the dishes clearly lack skill, care, and quality. It's far from refined cuisine. It makes you wonder how some dishes can even leave the kitchen in such a state. For me, the value for money is absolutely not there.

19/09/2026: We were very disappointed by this experience. We thought we'd found a good mountain restaurant, but unfortunately, the quality was sorely lacking. The tartiflette was particularly disappointing: tasteless potatoes, a very watery sauce, and barely discernible cheese… Nothing like a truly flavorful and generous tartiflette. The charcuterie served with it was equally disappointing, clearly giving the impression of industrial deli meats rather than quality mountain products. And when a restaurant advertises homemade cuisine, you expect to find flavor, quality ingredients, and a minimum level of quality on the plate. Unfortunately, that's not what we found. To make matters worse, the atmosphere was quite unpleasant: the owner was particularly rude to his waitress in front of the other customers, which was really unpleasant to witness. We were so disappointed that we didn't even order dessert. For the price, we frankly expected something else. We do not recommend this place and we will not be returning.

03/10/2026: A café-restaurant that survives thanks to its regular senior citizens, lunchtime workers, and passing tourists (which explains its relatively high overall rating). However, it's only suitable as a last resort: the value for money is appalling. Small portions, no effort put into the cooking, items unavailable when ordering, etc., all wrapped up in a rather unprofessional atmosphere. In short, it's clear that the service is lacking, which is a real shame because it won't appeal to everyone. But I doubt there's any willingness on the part of management to reflect on their practices or improve. EDIT: After your response, which was exactly what I expected, I am forced to remove a star. You continue to act in bad faith online, just as you did when, at the time of payment, you asked if everything was alright, I expressed my disappointment, and you brushed me off. I suppose that even if I had filmed my meal, you would have blamed the customer. For your information, although it's completely irrelevant, out of about thirty reviews, my positive and negative experiences on Google are perfectly evenly split. It's regrettable indeed to have an exchange that doesn't even address your service. Having a storefront will certainly highlight the poor quality of the food in the long run.

13/09/2026: Had a delicious meal, pleasant and friendly service, delicious food, nice menu and tasty desserts like Grande Café.

16/07/2026: We ordered the "Loris Tomato Onion" burger for takeout, which was supposed to be made with steak and chicken. When we got home and opened the burger, we were unpleasantly surprised to find only one steak and a single, tiny piece of chicken. We were very disappointed with the quality of the food for this order.

22/08/2026: What a shame… How can the beauty of a location so completely overshadow the quality of the service? For the third time this summer, I had a drink at Bar Le 1650. And unfortunately, on each of my three visits, the experience was the same: service far below what one can legitimately expect from an establishment in such a prime location. The feeling of being a nuisance, glasses left unattended on the terrace tables for ages, a welcome lacking any real attention, and finally, a Spritz that was more like sparkling water than a festive aperitif… Being very fond of Les Saisies resort, I wanted to share these experiences with you, especially since this observation is widely shared by my friends in the Beaufortain region. It's truly a shame, because the place deserves so much better. I sincerely hope that this message can help to improve the quality of the welcome and service, so that the level of services is finally up to the standard of the site and the legitimate expectations of those who deeply love Les Saisies.

24/05/2026: We arrived there in the evening without a reservation. The lady at reception was able to offer us a table for two. Our order took a little while, but the preparation and taste more than made up for it. We had a lovely time and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. Thank you so much. We'd love to come back.

23/05/2026: While cycling along the ViaRhôna, we booked a night with dinner and breakfast. Excellent place, very warm welcome, magnificent setting, generous and delicious meal. Fellow cyclists, don't hesitate!

30/03/2026: A warm welcome with a cheerful "hello" and a smile. The interior is inviting, with a fireplace for cooler, dreary weather. The service is quick and the local dishes are hearty. The only downside: prices remain high at this altitude, a well-known fact.

08/06/2026: Impeccable and clean room (room number 5 is fantastic) The valley is magnificent. For dinner, you can also go to Taverna dell'Orso (a 5-minute walk in the heart of the village). Open for a month now (family-run), the food is extraordinary and the service is sensational. Bernard Garnier

04/06/2026: So, how can I put it? "Excellent!" I love the setting!! It's so typical of the local area, it oozes authenticity!! And the inn has such great taste in decor! Wow, the welcome was top-notch!!! The food, I'd say wow!!!!!!! Truly homemade and fresh!! Delicious, yum! Yum!!! Perfect for families and couples, with cozy rooms!!! And for me, a business trip, it was fantastic!! A real relaxation experience!!! I'd say come on over!!!!!!! 😊😉 Thank you so much for this wonderful time!!!

14/03/2026: Breakfast buffet was more than adequate to get the day started: coffee machine that makes lattes, selection of fruits, yogurt, granola. Eggs, bacon, and sausages. Plenty of french butter. Dinner was spectacular, gourmet french food every night with good protein, vegetables (Braised leg of lamb, bok choy, some pea soup; Plancha duck, turnips; mashed potatoes and skirt steak, fish and some vegetables; and on your last evening it's fondue, and salad); dessert is also great with some mousse, lava cake, pavlova. Service is excellent, staff from reception Carol is warm and welcoming. The staff at the dining area Marcel, Justine, Michell are great hosts, attentive and accomodating. Very happy with my stay. The shower is adequate with hot water/ cold water in the shower. The bed is ok, i definitely wish they had bigger/ thicker pillows as the ones in my room were definitely flat. I kept my balcony door open for fresh / cooler mountain air at night. The rooms are generally quiet, the main source of noise i found was the plumbing which can be distracting. I kept earplugs on at night and that was enough to help me get restful sleep. The Olympic gondola is about a 7 minute walk from the hotel. The ski and boot storage facility of the hotel is readily available so you dont have to pay extra to store them elsewhere if you dont mind carrying them. Overall, i think it is excellent value in the region considering the food and service at an affordable price. I would happily go back! Only thing to note is that the Gondola is about a 25 minute ride to Meribel center. It is generally reliable, though in case of a breakdown, the resort sends a bus to take you from Brides les Bains to Meribel.

03/09/2026: I ate there on the GR5, and it was one of the best meals of the entire trip! Delicious and original sandwiches (I tried the fabulous chicken club and the "market gardener"), and breathtaking pastries. Exceptional quality!

25/08/2026: On holiday for two weeks in Val d'Isère, we regularly visited this bakery. The products are decent, but nothing extraordinary. As for the service, it depends on the day, or rather, on who serves you. One person stands out, but not in a good way: a man who seems either very tired or depressed, or both. He doesn't respond to greetings and glares at you when you want to buy something else, even though he's already gone to the till! Finally, the prices are exorbitant and don't reflect the quality of the products. In my region, organic bakeries are much cheaper and of far better quality. The organic label doesn't justify everything, especially if the quality isn't there.
