27/06/2024: I discovered this restaurant on a business trip and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. A warm atmosphere with only smiles, and the fast and efficient service made my experience even more pleasant. In addition, the prices are very affordable for the quality of the dishes served. The food was simply delicious to see that it was just a “dish of the day”. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good place to enjoy without breaking the bank!

30/08/2024: Un endroit hyper agréable, vous êtes accueilli par Florence et Fabrice avec une grosse dose de chaleur humaine et de sourir. La cuisine parfaite autour des fromages savoyards. Mais pour ceux qui n affectionnent pas le fromage , le Tartare de bœuf est un bon choix.

23/09/2024: We came to have dinner at this restaurant. The retro atmosphere is charming, everything is very clean and well arranged. The appetizers were delicious, except the watermelon one where the contrast with the onion was too pronounced, I couldn't finish it. The same goes for the tomatoes: the dish demonstrated technique and research, but in terms of taste, nothing exceptional. The pork was very good, but the sage flavor inside the roast was perhaps a little too present and did not leave enough room for the demi-glace, although it was skillfully prepared. The olive dessert really surprised me, I highly recommend it. The choice of bread and the service in general, in a bistronomic style, deserve. Some pairings should be rethought, perhaps with a little less technique but more familiarity in flavors. We will definitely come back to try new dishes.

25/01/2025: Passing through on the holiday route, we knew the old delicious “Pause du chat” and we must believe that the place with its superb view from the terrace over Lake Bourget attracts good vibes. Umami is simply great, from the careful welcome to the reservation as well as on site, to the dishes - bowls prepared with great taste, Californias and ramens. Too bad we weren't hungry anymore - that's very generous - because the desserts are very tempting. Congratulations to this new restaurant installed 6 months ago. You are great! Continue like this.

31/08/2024: Endroit très simple avec une serveuse qui laisse à désirer. Une heure d’attente à partir du moment où elle a bien voulu prendre la commande…. Pour un plat du jour et une salade de chèvre chaud , carafe d’eau =. 30€ un peu cher pour des assiettes peu remplies! Plats pourtant savoureux (il aurait manqué un peu de jambon, œufs dans la salade de 15€)! il aurait été utile d’avertir du temps d’attente avant toute chose! Dommage car on est parti encore avec la faim!

It's essential to book before 10 a.m., otherwise it's full given the number of regulars who wouldn't give up their place for anything in the world. The recipes change every day, they are original, mixing French, oriental, sometimes Asian flavors. Above all, it's very good, all the cooking is homemade, the quantity is there, therefore nothing to say about the price. The chef is adorable, he bends over backwards to satisfy all requests, and does not hesitate to share his manufacturing secrets. A beautiful address.

Without forgetting the excellent homemade desserts. A small family restaurant, perhaps, an essential address, certainly.

23/08/2024: Accueil sympa, ambiance superbe, vue sur le four à bois, serveuse efficace, très gentille et professionnelle. Quand aux plats, tout est parfait. Os à moelle, œuf cocotte aux cèpes un régal suivi d’une matouille et d’un reblochon fondue, très copieux, charcuterie délicieuse, rien à redire. Un petit génépi offert par la patronne. Merci pour tout c’était PARFAIT

12/09/2024: Auberge située devant canal de Chanaz , pas loin embarcadère croisières. Accueil sympathique et avenant. Possibilité de manger en terrasse. Cadre charmant et chaleureux. Service efficace. Pris proposition du jour. Mets gouteux avec présentation semi gastronomique.

24/08/2024: Disappointed because the pizzas were half the size of the box which is already not very big... (€56 for 4 pizzas) Despite that, they were good.
