03/09/2026: Was refused nicely -but still refused- at 20:30. Not even something for takeaway was possible. Mind you, the restaurant was completely full inside, and food was served as I made my request. Also, the fact that no menu is available online feels a bit retro, but maybe this is a thing in Aussois. I have two stars (instead of just one) because the waitress was nice enough.

26/08/2026: What a wonderful discovery!!! La Loy restaurant is a bit hidden and probably much easier to find in winter. In summer, it's located by the side of a path, and we stumbled upon it completely by chance while mountain biking downhill… and we're so glad we stopped! Again, many mountain restaurants were closed, especially on Mondays. La Loy was one of the few places open, and even better, 7 days a week. But let's get back to the main point… super friendly staff, fast and attentive service. We arrived in the rain, and the whole team did everything they could to ensure we could still eat on the terrace, comfortably seated and enjoying the magnificent mountain views. The setting is superb, the welcome warm, and the experience truly delightful. An amazing place, worth discovering, seeing, and above all, where you absolutely must stop for a meal! 👏👏👏

10/10/2026: A must-try! A wonderful discovery last night. The cuisine was exquisite, the presentation beautifully executed, and the waitstaff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Not a single misstep. The house cocktails were also excellent, and the opportunity to chat with the chef at the end of the meal made us leave feeling incredibly happy. We opted for the vegetarian menu, and I'm already looking forward to trying another one. Thank you all for this superb experience.

01/10/2026: This is a wonderful place for lunch in Annecy, where you can enjoy excellent food and service at a reasonable price. I’ve attached a photo of the receipt to show that we paid. I’m writing this review less than an hour after our visit. There were four of us, and we came for the first lunch seating. We ordered three bottles: Jacques Selosse Initial, a local Savoie wine, and finally Jacques Selosse Rosé. We’re traveling through France on a wine trip. Two weeks ago, we stayed at the Jacques Selosse hotel, where we drank five bottles. We’ve had seven more Selosse wines in the two weeks since then, including the Rosé. Up until the Selosse Rosé, we were having a perfect time. But when it was opened and we tasted it, the reduction was extremely strong. I’ve never experienced that level of reduction in a Selosse wine. It had almost no aroma, flavor, or finish. I asked the sommelier whether the bottle was all right and if he would taste it. After tasting it, he said it seemed normal and that Selosse wines are naturally reductive. I may not have as much experience as he does, but are Selosse wines really supposed to be this reductive? I couldn’t accept that explanation. In the end, we left the bottle unfinished, even though it was quite expensive. I understand that it can be difficult to acknowledge a flaw in a bottle, but I still can’t make sense of it. We paid the full bill, so I feel I can speak honestly. I hope the chef and the staff will take the time to taste the Selosse we left behind and judge it for themselves. If they still feel the bottle was sound, then perhaps I was mistaken. An unlucky day can happen to anyone. What matters is how it’s handled afterward. Today was an unlucky day, but unfortunately, even the way it ended left us disappointed. Wishing you all the best.

29/08/2026: I had the pleasure of spending an evening at Les Flocons d’Ange, and what an evening it was! It was the last night, and the owner even left the bar open because we had come. This simple gesture perfectly sums up the man: a rare generosity, complete authenticity, and an extraordinary ability to bring people together. In this typically Savoyard setting, he has managed to add a Corsican and Mediterranean touch that gives the place an absolutely unique soul. The food is wonderful, but Les Flocons d’Ange is much more than a restaurant: it’s a place where you spend incredible evenings with friends, where you immediately feel at ease, where you almost rediscover the joy of celebration that you thought you had forgotten. There are successful establishments, and then there are places inhabited by exceptional people. Here, everything is perfect: the food, the atmosphere, the setting, the welcome, the warmth. In my opinion, it's simply the best bar-restaurant in the Tarentaise Valley. Men like him are national treasures. They should be protected. Thank you for this evening and for this generosity that means so much.

11/09/2026: We had lunch at "Le Choucas" after booking by phone. Friendly welcome. Excellent and generous meal. We had a matouille (a local sausage). For dessert, a homemade blueberry tart and panna cotta. We'll definitely be back!

28/08/2026: The perfect lunch at Le Choucas: a charming and pleasant terrace, peaceful and quiet, overlooking a pasture, surrounded by greenery, with no ear-splitting music. Friendly and welcoming service, even at the last minute, and a tempting menu. The Alpine salad with breaded Reblochon cheese is absolutely amazing and incredibly delicious. Highly recommended!

10/10/2026: The food was consistently excellent, and we had a truly wonderful evening. We tried a bit of everything on the menu, and every single dish was a perfect 10 out of 10: • The fondue (Fondue Savoyarde): Super creamy, perfectly seasoned, and just what we needed for a cozy evening. 🫕 • The fish dish (Filet de Dorade): Cooked to perfection, beautifully crispy on the outside, and incredibly fresh with fantastic side dishes. 🐟 • The burger (Burger Savoyard): Really juicy, perfectly topped, and the fries were amazing. 🍔🍟 The service was attentive and incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is so cozy. You immediately feel at home. For us, this is an absolute top spot – 5 stars without hesitation. We'll definitely be back! 🤝⭐

The service was top-notch, fast, with attentive waiters, beautiful and colorful dishes (like the restaurant's interior), and a wide selection of drinks, galettes, and crêpes. If you're looking for original and delicious food, go for it! Well done to the whole restaurant team, I'll definitely be back.

11/10/2026: A fantastic place! I popped in on a whim because the menu offered a great selection of crêpes and salads, with salads even available in two sizes. The owner, who also works as a chef in the open kitchen, was very welcoming and genuine. I asked him if it could be quick, which I felt a little awkward about, because if you want a good meal, you should allow yourself some time. Nevertheless, he reacted in a totally relaxed and friendly manner and actually brought me a super tasty salad in no time at all. I think it's not easy to make a really good salad, but this one was fresh, filling, well-balanced, with a delicious dressing – simply fantastic! I think the real specialty of this restaurant is the crêpes, which I unfortunately didn't get to try. They looked delicious at the next table, and above all, they smelled incredibly tempting. This wonderful place has once again confirmed for me that it's often the smaller restaurants on the side streets that shine with quality and dedication.

19/10/2026: My last visit in May 2025 was disappointing. What a difference with the new chef-owner! A short menu with excellent choices. From aperitif to dessert, every dish is meticulously prepared. Delicate flavors, precise cooking (e.g., the monkfish cooked to a perfect pearly white). My best meal in the region in a long time. Pleasant and prompt service. Just one small criticism: the owner needs to improve her knowledge of the wine list.

15/10/2026: Unbeatable value for money! I drive 40 kilometers to eat here. My new favorite "canteen." Try finding better for 30 euros for lunch: starter/main course/dessert, all homemade, prepared with taste and precision. The menu even included a rabbit terrine...with foie gras. 30 euros! What more could you ask for? Go for it, without hesitation.

06/09/2026: September 2026, our third visit to this restaurant. We usually indulge in a delicious raclette for two with a charcuterie board. This time, we decided to try the à la carte dishes. We weren't disappointed; they were succulent and perfectly balanced. From rich to delicate, we completely lost track of time. For starters, we had smoked salmon, smoked on-site over beechwood. For our main course, we had duckling in a port sauce with dauphinoise potatoes and a Savoyard-style veal escalope! A delight! For dessert, we had red fruit pavlova and crème brûlée! Thank you for the warm welcome and the wonderful meal :)
