04/09/2024: a little disappointed with our visit to Montpelat, coming to share charcuterie and cheese platters, we were disappointed with the quantities on the platters, especially when we see the photos published on the site. For the platters to share there should not be too many of them in fact on the charcuterie side 1 slice of white ham 4 slices of sausage a chiffonade of cured ham and on the cheese board side 7 ridiculous pieces of tomme certainly very good but it is a little light

02/09/2024: Un vrai délice. De l’apéro au dessert tout était parfait. Le service agréable et souriant. Le cadre est magnifique lorsque l’on y va le midi, les montagnes et rien d’autre.
Nous avons opté pour la fondue, parfaite.
La seule frustration : ne pas pouvoir prendre la spécialité La Poutre pour une seule personne, alors que notre voisin de table, seul, y a eu le droit. Un habitué me semble t’il.
Mais ça ne sera que ce petit bémol que je noterais.
Ne pas hésiter une seule seconde, réservez vous ne serez pas déçus.
27/08/2024: A must.... Remember to book.... A very friendly welcome... A particularly pleasant setting on the terrace... The gallows.... Quality meat flambéed in cognac, an original presentation... . Homemade fries and a succulent vegetable gratin.

06/08/2024: Une halte raffraichissante par une journée de visite à Aix les bains. Bon accueil, musique en sourdine très agréable, de grands verres d'eau plate ou gazeuse, agrumes pressés. Le tout près dun parking ombragé. Je recommande.
03/08/2024: Absolutely delicious food with unique recipes for both brunch platters and pancakes. Even mimosas! The staff were very kind and friendly, as well as efficient. Cool location next to the marketplace and shops. Perfect brunch option!

22/12/2024: Charming restaurant overlooking Lake Bourget, near Annecy. The dining room has a fantastic panoramic window from which you can enjoy a unique view of the lake below and Hautecombe Abbey. In summer it is also possible to have tables on an equally panoramic terrace. The menu is rich and focused on the typical cuisine of the area. In particular, the fondue and the mix of typical cheeses are not to be missed. Obviously the wine list is also interesting. The staff was very kind and friendly (not a given in France...). Adequate price. It is recommended.

01/09/2024: En plus du super restaurant avec la vue magnifique, nous avons visité la mini ferme, fait le mini marché et vu la fabrication du fromage.
Nous sommes revenus pour la sortie 4x4 organisée par Roland, tellement bien. Son savoir sur le coin et ces anecdotes sont une réelle plus value à cette balade. Et nous avons vue de nombreuses marmottes.

10/01/2025: Delicious food, beautifully presented. Lovely ambience. Top drawer. Limited menu but that is the strength. Excellent selection of wines by the glass and bottle. The trout and risotto I had was absolutely lovely.

28/08/2024: We came to eat raclette at Marie's, we booked the day before and already the contact was very warm with Marie and her cook.
The next day we came for raclette and the welcome was already great!
We were well settled and Marie is simply adorable and attentive.
The raclette is incredible and the burger delicious with homemade buckwheat bread.
I highly recommend this restaurant for the quality of the dishes but also for the excellence of the welcome and service, we felt like home.
It’s a must-see in La Plagne!
We will come back without hesitation.
