That evening, at Le Farçon, they met for a luminous dinner, graced by a chef who understands the region and the smiles of a couple who had traveled from much further afield than the mountain peaks. The chef, passionate and generous, skillfully wove together the rich flavors of Savoy with the discerning palates of his Breton guests, creating an unexpected, delicate, and vibrant alliance, like those encounters that leave a lasting impression. The service? A rare warmth at altitude. A sincere, almost familiar attentiveness that envelops you from the very first moment—and which, by contrast, leaves some neighboring tables in a polite shadow, where elegance prefers to remain silent. Here, one savors with precision, shares with joy, and leaves the table with a heart as full as the plate. And as the meal ends, a breath of Brittany comes to greet the night: a complimentary digestif, like a final nod to distant sea spray. 27/04/2026: The food was good and the service provided by a pleasant team. However, a major drawback completely marred the experience: almost all the dishes listed on the menu were unavailable, even though a €30 card deposit per person was required to make a reservation—€240 in our case. We were told it was the last day of the winter season. While the absence of certain items might be understandable in this context, it is surprising to find so many items out of stock—no steak, fruit juice, raclette cheese, or wine, among other things. In short, the choice was limited to just a few dishes on the menu. With such a high level of unavailability, an updated menu would have been more than necessary to avoid disappointment and the feeling of having been misled.

21/04/2026: My German friend and skiing enthusiast Michael introduced me to this place in 2013, saying that I should try skiing here. Here, I went from a guy who didn't know how to coordinate my skis on the most simple slopes to someone who can make good attempts on hard slopes. Thank you, Michael Skimaster, and thank you to the good instructors at this place!

01/05/2026: The waiter got angry because we (a large group) left five minutes later than agreed. Before that, he tried to chase us away, and everything was a bit rushed and disorganized. Moreover, this gentleman took our dessert orders anyway, and it took 30 minutes before we received them. Then this guy got angry, kicked open the kitchen door, threw a glass on the floor (in the kitchen, of course), threw a raclette machine around, and pulled a plate away so quickly that a fork scraped against someone's arm. Idk the food was tasty though 🥹🥹

13/07/2026: A very pleasant café for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or afternoon tea. The menu is varied and trendy. The atmosphere is young and dynamic. Less than a 10-minute walk from the train station, it's worth it if you have a one-hour layover, for example.
