26/12/2025: Disappointed with the restaurant. We arrived 15 minutes early and received a very poor welcome. Barely a hello. They were finishing their meal and we had clearly disturbed them. If the restaurant doesn't open until 7:30 pm, then say so. Then we waited 25 minutes to be served, 40 minutes if you include the early arrival, even though we were the first customers. We ordered four fondues, but we were served the same amount as the table behind us where there were only two people... Well... Did we just catch them on a bad day? Are there regulars who get a kiss on the cheek and then everyone else? Unprofessional attitude. I do not recommend it.

23/08/2025: We had a great evening at Chez Marie. The food was excellent (special mentions for the burgers and homemade fries) and the waitress was really very pleasant. The rustic mountain setting was very friendly with little nooks so you don't eat on top of each other!! We highly recommend this charming little place 🫕⛰️

04/09/2024: For lunch, fairly regularly, about once a week. It's essential to book before 10 a.m., otherwise it's full given the number of regulars who wouldn't give up their place for anything in the world. The recipes change every day, they are original, mixing French, oriental, sometimes Asian flavors. Above all, it's very good, all the cooking is homemade, the quantity is there, therefore nothing to say about the price. The chef is adorable, he bends over backwards to satisfy all requests, and does not hesitate to share his manufacturing secrets. A beautiful address.

Very good tasty food, open late for service so we weren’t stuck without food after a late transfer! Very good service, reasonable price, so polite and very quick too. Will be coming back!

04/12/2025: We had a wonderful time. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The dining rooms are pleasant. It's not crowded at all. The food is good, homemade, and reasonably priced. Parking is very easy in the large, free public car park 50 meters away. Well done to the whole team!

09/08/2025: Just 10 km from Moûtiers, there's a place where your taste buds will complain... for excess happiness. Le Barrillon is a traditional French restaurant that has it all: authentic cuisine just the way you like it, impeccable service, and a hostess who's always smiling (even when you're hesitating for too long between the duck breast and the ribeye steak). The decor is tasteful, and you can choose between the warm interior or the terrace to breathe in the mountain air. The dishes range from great French classics (ribeye steak, veal chop, duck breast with perfect sauces) to Savoyard specialties that warm the heart (tartiflette, fondues, etc.). Each dish is beautiful, generous, and above all good. Very good. Even "very, very, very" good. In short, if you're passing through the area with friends, it's the perfect place to take a break during the day and enjoy a delicious meal. And honestly... you'll do those 10 km from Moûtiers with a smile - and you'll do them again the next day.

16/10/2025: Very nice, both for a coffee ☕️ and lunch. The food is great, excellent home cooking. You can immediately see that the chef puts all his heart into these delicious dishes. And, something that we don't see anymore or very rarely, at the end of your meal the chef comes to greet all the customers and takes a few minutes to chat with each of them. I have never been disappointed. A must try and above all call to reserve because it is always full 🥰🥰🥰👍🫶

30/12/2025: We are a family of five, and year after year, we stop at this hotel on our way to our ski resort in the Alps. The location is unbeatable: the next day there are only 30 km of uphill climbing left, so we rest and start fresh. The hotel is wonderful. The rooms are renovated, the views are spectacular, and both the dinners and breakfasts are exceptional, prepared with top-quality local products. In fact, it's worth coming for dinner even if you're not staying at the hotel. But what truly makes this place special are its hosts, Mathieu and Marie. They are charming, attentive, professional, and make you feel at home from the very first minute. We recommend this hotel 400%. It's a must-stop for us every year.

13/01/2026: The service was excellent and the staff pleasant; I have no particular complaints there. We came one evening, and I don't usually leave this kind of review, but I was rather disappointed with my dining experience. The food lacked flavor; the morel mushroom was barely noticeable in the starter, and the beef tartare was underseasoned. While the presentation was certainly very elegant, we would have preferred more taste than aesthetics. Finally, considering everything, we felt the price was excessive.
