28/08/2026: The owner's welcome was deplorable. He's not in the restaurant business, he's just a businessman. He's very friendly with his friends who come to eat there, but unpleasant and rushed with other customers. The pizzas are good and large, and the service is good when it's provided by his employees, who are pleasant.

We had the pleasure of trying different dishes, and they were all excellent! I wanted to thank the owner for his kindness to my daughter (his friend). Even though the restaurant was full, the owner managed to find us a table. Professional and knows how to keep customers! Keep up the good work, because that's rare these days... 10/08/2026: We discovered this restaurant by chance one lunchtime in February. The "Maître Restaurateur" plaque confirmed our choice. Impeccable service, quality homemade cuisine, and very reasonable prices. We recommend it without hesitation. Remember to book; we were lucky to get a table that lunchtime.

19/08/2026: Fantastic experience at La Chaumière! It's so nice to have a restaurant open in Val-Thorens out of season, especially one of such high quality. The food is excellent, the portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff is also incredibly friendly and welcoming. A great place to eat, we'll definitely be back!

11/05/2026: A truly disastrous experience. => I'm willing to pay more in a mountain restaurant at a ski resort, but this is clearly outrageous. We ordered a raclette for three: the portion was far too small. Only five potatoes for three people, and a charcuterie platter at €16 per person… There's a total of €48 worth of charcuterie in the photo: but in the end, we only got ONE slice of each: cooked ham, ham, sausage, and mortadella. So, €48 in total for low-quality charcuterie, as the photo shows. Even after pointing it out to the waiter, there was no reaction, no gesture, nothing. The Chablis wasn't great either. The bread seemed to have been defrosted hastily, still cold inside. Honestly, the value for money is scandalous. We left feeling completely ripped off from beginning to end.

05/04/2026: Between mountain peaks and sea spray, an enchanting evening at Le Farçon… Don't the mountains and Brittany always end up recognizing each other, like two horizons that seemed worlds apart? That evening, at Le Farçon, they met for a luminous dinner, graced by a chef who understands the region and the smiles of a couple who had traveled from much further afield than the mountain peaks. The chef, passionate and generous, skillfully wove together the rich flavors of Savoy with the discerning palates of his Breton guests, creating an unexpected, delicate, and vibrant alliance, like those encounters that leave a lasting impression. The service? A rare warmth at altitude. A sincere, almost familiar attentiveness that envelops you from the very first moment—and which, by contrast, leaves some neighboring tables in a polite shadow, where elegance prefers to remain silent. Here, one savors with precision, shares with joy, and leaves the table with a heart as full as the plate. And as the meal ends, a breath of Brittany comes to greet the night: a complimentary digestif, like a final nod to distant sea spray. 20/08/2026: Stopped for much needed refreshments after cycling up the mountain. A delicious bottle of a local Cola and a home made slice of Blueberry and Raspberry tart hit the spot. Amazing views from the terrace.

03/09/2026: During the second week of August, we came twice. We received a warm welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, with generous portions of dishes made from local ingredients. I especially loved the goat cheese waffle—it was delicious! We highly recommend it. We will be back. Best wishes.

03/09/2026: Super hotel, good service, beautiful view, delicious breakfast... I would advise against the hotel if you have an old/small car or a bike rack, due to the poor, narrow road along the ravine leading to the hotel. Otherwise, top-notch.

29/08/2026: An exceptional experience! We spent 3 nights and 4 days in the alpine pastures, surrounded by mountains, sky, and meadows – an unforgettable stay. The hotel is magnificent, comfortable, and welcoming. The services are top-notch: a beautiful pool, sauna, jacuzzi… Yoga and meditation… Spa treatments and massages… The breakfast buffet is generous… The restaurant is delicious… And the icing on the cake: the mountain view! A stay to reach new heights (2551m) and forget the grim news of the day. Please turn off your iPhone!

20/08/2026: Beautiful resort in summer. With plenty of hiking trails. However, the lift pass prices are still outrageous compared to other resorts.
