12/12/2025: A painful memory of this resort on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2006: the municipal police impounded my car, which was parked on the sidewalk. I admit it, but I had made sure it wasn't obstructing anyone. The parking lots were full. Nearby, some badly parked vehicles weren't ticketed. I've never returned to this "upscale" resort, where, among others, many Russians and Americans stay. I advise my acquaintances and friends to go to much nicer and more authentic places, like Serre-Chevalier, for example...

26/11/2025: I’ve been to Méribel few times but last season 24/25 the prices seem to skyrocket and the overall experience felt noticeably worse. Much of the accommodation is very outdated, the apartments weren’t properly cleaned and basic essentials like bed sheets weren’t provided. When you pay EUR 300 per night it’s a joke ! It often felt as though we were being overcharged without receiving any real service in return. The resorts are so crowded that they don’t seem to care. Nowhere else in Europe anything like this exists. In December 2024, when we arrived to start our ski trip, the ticketing system was down. After queuing for an hour and a half, we were finally allowed to ski and told we could buy our passes later once the system was running again. A couple of days after that, the Solaise lift also had an issue, leading to massive queues and many frustrating skiers. It’s a beautiful resort, but unfortunately, it feels like the overall quality of service is deteriorating.

05/07/2025: We had a good meal in a lovely, warm setting and were greeted by a pleasant waitress, although she was a bit rushed. The dishes were good, but the chicken supreme lacked sauce and there weren't many potatoes to accompany it. The desserts were excellent. It's a shame that the place is quite small, which makes it quite noisy when there are people there. In addition, it was extremely hot inside (while it was 15 outside), and the heating was poorly regulated.

11/06/2025: Very nice place with very good food. We had a lovely dinner. Furthermore I drank a great local wine.

10/07/2025: The restaurant is located in the Pont-de-Beauvoisin hypermarket. You can eat inside or outside, as they have a terrace. Unfortunately, the restaurant is only open for lunch. I think the food is good for reasonable prices, and the service is good. I find the room echoes a bit when it's busy, but otherwise everything is perfect. You must make a reservation because it's often full. Otherwise, you have to wait about 45 minutes to an hour.

08/06/2025: We went there completely at random, but we were not disappointed at all. The staff was excellent, friendly, professional... We will definitely be back.

23/09/2024: We were received friendly and immediately put at ease. We were offered half board. Sublime meals and hearty homemade desserts. Always a kind word. We have a wonderful weekend. We sincerely thank them for their kindness.

16/09/2024: Passing through Mont Cenis for a tour in an Audi TT with our club, we reserved the evening in the restaurant La vielle poste. A great restaurant and a superb team! Meal more than generous and excellent value for money. The staff is there for you! It was so good that we booked breakfast the next day and we weren't disappointed either. We were able to taste honey from Poland, cold meats and pastries.... A great establishment

03/01/2025: Probley the best choice that we have made this trip. If you are confused with all of the fancy restaurants in the mountains - don't bother. This restaurant is what your looking for Homey service and very good quality food is the the main event here. Not white table cloth but it is all about product and service. In the michelin guide for a good reason

31/12/2024: A real gem! “La Table des Bauges” is an exceptional culinary experience. The semi-gastronomic cuisine is refined, tasty and creative, highlighting local products with a nice touch of modernity. The setting is warm, ideal for a moment of relaxation and pleasure. Special mention for the impeccable service: attentive, discreet and very professional. Each dish is a journey for the taste buds. An essential address for lovers of good cuisine. Well done to the whole team! 👏

18/04/2025: We entered the place thinking it would be your average mountain restaurant. Place was messy with bad music but we didn't think much of it. There wasn't one free table, which was fine, so we sat on a mound, not disturbing or harming anyone. We got our sandwiches out as we were going to buy some drinks thinking it would be fine as we would've given them business, and there was no signs saying we couldn't do this. Not even two seconds after getting them out a very rude man charged over to us and started shouting at us in french, very rudely. Told us to get away even though we were about to order drinks, and it's not even our fault that there isnt any tables to spare. Sat outside the restaurant with our sandwiches and sat by our skis whilst being rudely stared at. Terrible experience and i had to convince my dad not to bash the man's jaw in because he was being a right idiot. Not the first time this has happened looking at other reviews. 0/10 DO NOT GO HERE ITS NOT WORTH IT ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS!!!

17/11/2024: We can't talk about the rooms..we tested the restaurant with its discreet charm with exposed stone walls, the colors are nice, lots of room to move around, the service is quite fast. the dishes are good and offered with good products (the entrecôte offered 300grs).. small downside for my dessert "an outrageously sweet apple crumble" very unfortunate😩😩.

21/06/2025: We left very disappointed with our experience at this restaurant, not because of the food or the atmosphere, which were truly excellent, but because of the bill management. We ordered two €39 menus, one of which included a €2 supplement for a prime rib. We added two kirs at €5 each and a glass of wine at €7. This brought our total to €97. However, we were billed €128. On leaving, we found this surprising, did the math, and decided to come back and ask for an explanation. The person in charge checked very quickly, without really listening to our comments, and ultimately only refunded us €14, without any clear justification or goodwill gesture. We found this a real shame, because the meal was good, but the unprofessional attitude and lack of transparency on the bill completely spoiled the experience. Paying far more than you should, without any real explanation or consideration, is unacceptable.

31/08/2024: We were seated, a waiter came to take our order after an hour of waiting I reported that I still had not been served while other people arriving after me had their plates the waiter answered me on a very unpleasant tone that I had cooked my steak for this reason and it took time to cook and that if we were not happy we just had to leave. I do not recommend this place, the service is catastrophic and the customer service is a disaster. Server with no professionalism incapable of handling the pressure of a service and who lets off steam by being verbally aggressive with customers

17/08/2024: Discovered by chance and completely surprised. Great ambience with a great feel-good effect. Is also a sports bar. The food is upscale. The cocktails are made by experts. Prices are moderate. All in all, you have to go here if you want to get your money's worth.
