01/07/2026: Passing through the area, we stopped for a bite to eat. Beautiful and delicious pastries. Excellent sandwiches with a wide selection. Some people could learn a thing or two from them… wheat seeds 😜

14/05/2026: In La Plagne, we've made it a tradition to have lunch at Le Forperet after a morning of skiing. Their fondue is simply exceptional, made with impeccably fresh ingredients. I highly recommend this place.

29/04/2026: I've been a seasonal worker in Montalbert for two years. I invited my whole family to eat at this restaurant, a total of nine people. The food was decent, and the wine wasn't too bad. At the end of the meal, I went to the till to pay for everything and order nine shots of génépi, about €4 each. Once I'd paid the bill, Aurélien, the restaurant owner, came back with nine digestifs, almost double the price! I told him I'd ordered shots, and he replied that it was fine and that they were better as digestifs! Since I'm a seasonal worker and my partner worked there for a summer, I assumed the difference would have been covered, but that wasn't the case, especially on a €500 bill... Beyond the fact that I ended up with an extra charge, this really shows the restaurant's mentality, and especially that of the owner. I spoke to his team several times, hoping he'd have the courage to tell me and apologize, because I didn't want to badmouth him in front of his staff or customers. I can't even imagine what it must be like for tourists; it's theft and dishonesty.

13/03/2026: Excellent dinner. The chef's sauces are masterful. The dishes are original. And the service is impeccable: friendly and attentive. In short, everything was perfect.

21/03/2026: We stayed in Les Saisies and stopped there for lunch three times during the week. The welcome was perfect and the food offered excellent value for money. A great place not to be missed!

Having worked seasonally for years, neither my parents nor I knew about this welcoming place… it made a great impression on us, from the smiles and friendliness of the waitresses to the quality of the food. Larbé was a very pleasant discovery, one we've returned to every year for the past two years, and again this week. The experience remains the same; the people who run it are genuine—what more could you ask for from a nice little restaurant in the Alps? 🌸🏔️

14/06/2026: The service was far too slow. We felt that a table of eight was too difficult for the staff to manage, resulting in many mistakes. There were a huge number of flies in the restaurant 🤮. We couldn't eat without a fly landing on our plates. The food was really mediocre. The salads were of zero quality, and the raw vegetables were completely cooked. €20 for a salad is outrageous. In short, I don't understand how they got a 4.7 rating.

20/05/2026: There were serious communication problems among the staff: within 10 minutes, we were called on Saturday morning by several members of the residence team about the same issue, with no one having consulted beforehand to realize we were already aware of it. Similarly, for short stays, check-outs can be at 5 pm instead of 12 pm (subject to availability); as indicated on Booking.com, we had specified in the comments that we wished to stay until 5 pm; upon arrival, the receptionist carefully reviewed all the booking information with us: name, address, city of origin, and departure instructions. On the day of our departure, the receptionist's response was: "We don't always read all the messages on Booking.com. We haven't reserved your accommodation until 5 pm, so you must leave and leave the keys in the mailbox at reception as we will be out." Another disappointing point: we booked this accommodation from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon because Booking.com advertised access to a heated pool and spa, without providing any further details. Upon arrival, we learned that these facilities are open Monday to Friday, closed on Saturdays, and reopen on Sundays from 5 pm to 7 pm. In other words, it's impossible to use them over a weekend. Finally, the rental is functional, and the one-bedroom apartment has everything you'd expect for a two-room apartment for a ski holiday. However, the draft coming through the door leading to the terrace highlights a lack of thermal insulation. While the accommodation itself was adequate, close to ski lifts and ski rental shops, the residence's services marred our stay. A very bad experience with this residence!

24/05/2026: Hello everyone ✌️ Yes, I'm a biker and I love eating out during my rides, so I arrived at this restaurant at 11:34 am. The road was blocked for a cycling race, so I didn't see any servers. I headed towards the bar, and a woman sitting on the terrace called out to me: "What do you want?" No greeting, no politeness whatsoever. I told her I wanted to eat... and she told me she was on break until noon. I've never seen anything like it! So I told her I was going to eat at another place. She didn't seem to mind losing a customer, so I went to eat at La Marie Rose restaurant, where I received a very warm welcome and had a fantastic meal with a magnificent view.

14/07/2026: We had a wonderful meal after a very strenuous climb from Glandon to Croix de Fer. The welcome was warm and the dishes were generous and delicious. The bowling alley's decor and its location at the foot of the slopes (green in summer) are well worth the detour. Cyclists, hikers, paragliders, or anyone just passing through, don't miss the sign pointing you towards La Petite Ferme restaurant and its delightful coffee.
