26/05/2026: I wasn't planning on leaving a review, but since we were asked twice… here goes. There were three of us. Upon arrival, we were seated at an outdoor table, with no option for indoor/outdoor seating, just a table outside. This table and the chairs were placed on slate paving stones, which were themselves on bare earth. As a result, the chairs were precariously balanced between the paving stones and the earth. Furthermore, we were sitting directly under a tree that seemed to be teeming with small insects. Nothing alarming in itself, but since the ground wasn't level and our guest wasn't entirely comfortable with the idea of ​​potential insects in her cocktail, we politely asked to move. At that point, we felt like we were annoying the person in charge of the service. Furthermore, my partner pointed out that the small aperitif, though much appreciated, had been removed as soon as my starter arrived, which seemed a bit rushed to me. So, two people were going to be watching me eat my starter without anything (but let's not judge). And then, a “terrible mistake”: our friend told us she has a phobia of insects in food. Since there were still some at the second table, we politely asked if it would be possible to eat inside. Let's not dwell on the fact that we were gently mocked by the server when we made this second request, and on the very clear impression that we were being “annoying” (sorry for wanting the three people at the table to feel comfortable while eating). Finally seated inside, I had the unpleasant feeling that they were trying to serve us as quickly as possible to get rid of us. My starter and main course were decent, and our friend's main course was generous. Our friend, who ate a little more slowly, hadn't finished her meal when our plates were cleared. The waiter explained it was to speed up service, but it was clumsy. The fact that they also removed my partner's unfinished glass of beer really made us feel like we were intruding… Even though, as customers, we clearly annoyed the staff, it doesn't seem very justified to me. We weren't really inclined to order dessert anymore. We paid and left. And I understand that, after reading this, people might question our honesty. I initially intended not to revisit this experience, but since we've been asked twice, here it is.

25/05/2026: Everything was delicious! From the appetizer to the dessert. Completely homemade, guaranteed. Excellent flavor combinations, cooking, presentation—nothing to criticize. The garden/terrace is just perfect when it's warm like today. A gentle babble of water flows from a fountain. The decor and ambiance are almost timeless, and it's magnificent.

24/05/2026: A pleasant, cozy place where you can have a good time. The only downside is the slow service; you can sometimes feel forgotten. Despite this minor inconvenience, I recommend it.

24/05/2026: Excellent restaurant for the taste buds, the service is impeccable. The two waiters are smiling, friendly, and very professional. And on the plate, originality and refinement... the setting is pleasant, an intimate terrace in the heart of Meaux but sheltered from the traffic.

10/05/2026: Recently renovated and clean restaurant. Pleasant servers, the restaurant manager is very friendly and attentive to customers, always listening to their feedback to ensure their satisfaction. The homemade food is very good and plentiful; you won't leave hungry. The ingredients are high quality, including perfectly cooked meats, and there's plenty of it. We loved this restaurant, and the children did too. We highly recommend it. However, I didn't ask about the origin of the meat, but I hope it's mostly French to conclude this very positive review.

10/06/2026: Arriving in town at 9 pm on a Friday after our drive, we were looking for a good restaurant. This one said yes, no problem, without even mentioning whether the kitchen was closing or anything. Anyway, we had to rush to order. My partner ordered a starter and a main course, and after two main courses that were no longer available, I ordered by default. My partner grabbed the wine list and was scolded by the waitress. They told him to leave it and looked at the next table. Then he got his starter and asked the price of a wine. She arrogantly told him to wait and come back, saying he hadn't even finished before they brought the main courses. I asked them to give him time to finish. She came back, and he barely had time to finish his bite. She took the starter away and immediately brought the main courses. I asked her to send the dishes back to the kitchen because that wasn't acceptable. I asked to see the head chef, who told us the kitchen closed at 9:30 pm, even though they were still accepting tables. I refused. I asked for the bill, thankfully, because paying their prices for dishes in a fancy restaurant only to be served... This way, P preferred to go eat a kebab. If it's for a quick meal, I did this job for 16 years and I don't forgive mistakes like this. They should change jobs if they're afraid of finishing later than 10 pm on a Friday night in a tourist area, or they should refuse outright. But being a cash cow for €140 in 30 minutes? No thanks. I don't recommend this place at all. Go across the street if you arrive earlier, or to the square a little further down, or even walk to the top of town; you'll get better service.

26/05/2026: The restaurant's setting is really cute, and given all the positive reviews, I was expecting a great time. Unfortunately, the food was a real disappointment. The beef ribs were way overcooked and desperately lacked marinade. As for the mashed potatoes, they were a real shame: they seemed to have been made with tap water that tasted awful, completely ruining the side dish. It's a real pity because the potential is there, but the food fell far short of my expectations that day. Nothing tasted homemade.

The galettes and crêpes are delicious, carefully prepared with quality ingredients; we simply loved them. In short, a place to remember for a night out with friends or family. 07/04/2026: Pleasant welcome. The sharing platter of appetizers was nice, but it's a shame to use Maroilles cheese instead of Brie (a local cheese), and it could have used a bit more butter (and salted if possible 😉).

24/05/2026: A friendly and authentic atmosphere makes this the perfect place to satisfy your hunger without any fuss! The owners create a warm ambiance while offering efficient service. You'll want to try every galette on the menu. There's a wide variety to choose from: from classic Breton galettes to more original flavors like the Indian galette, and even a more local option featuring honey from the Château de Fontainebleau. The taste is fantastic; the galettes and crêpes are delicious! Highly recommended!

26/05/2026: Excellent restaurant with delicious food, impeccable service, and a charming atmosphere. We came to celebrate my father's birthday and we weren't disappointed at all; quite the opposite. They even surprised him with a sparkling candle. Kudos to the whole team! I highly recommend this place.

17/05/2026: A great find! The setting is lovely, the waitresses and waiters are friendly, there's a good selection but not too much, and everything from appetizer to dessert was delicious. Good value for money too.
