23/07/2026: I came this evening with a friend; it was our very first time at this restaurant. I trusted the positive reviews, and I'm so glad I did. We had an excellent evening. The waiter was very kind and professional, immediately presenting us with the daily menu and what was unavailable. The kitchen, waiters, and owner were all very attentive and professional, and the staff were very helpful. The team was top-notch. The service was incredibly fast. The time between the starter, main course, and dessert was perfect, allowing ample time for digestion. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated; it's really lovely. Regarding the meal, we ordered a set menu (starter, main course, and dessert) for €36.90, which is really inexpensive for the quality—everything was homemade—and especially the generous portions. We left feeling completely satisfied. The food was excellent. The homemade touches, the real homemade fries, and the Batavia lettuce, cleaned and cut to order (not bagged), were a real treat. The warm goat cheese salad is perfect as a starter; the generous portion and the balsamic dressing are excellent, perfectly complementing the goat cheese on the perfectly toasted bread. As for the ribeye steak, it's simply superb—extremely tender meat that melts in your mouth, a beautiful, high-quality cut. The rare steak is cooked to perfection. The crème brûlée, a classic, is also delicious and not too sweet. We have absolutely no complaints; we had a wonderful time. It's great to see that restaurants still exist with professionals who prepare everything themselves, peeling, washing, cooking, chopping… all the ingredients to create truly homemade cuisine at a realistic price considering the quantity and quality. You can go there without hesitation; a delicious meal is guaranteed.

09/07/2026: Fantastic hotel, the marvel artwork is stunning and the rooms really comfortable. Breakfast was great, a little pricey but all you can eat. Pool was nice when we had a really hot day. Only 10 min walk to the Disney parks.

The rooms were fine, a bit old, for the price you would expect more. The location it was amazing because it was very close to the park and very convenient!

They also have classic dishes like terrine or tartare, but homemade and fresh! I had the chicken supreme with chanterelles and polenta, which was very good, but I would have liked a bit more sauce as it was a little dry otherwise. The setting is ideal in the forest, there's always parking available, and the place has a lot of charm. The waiters and waitresses are energetic, smiling, and attentive. 👍

17/07/2026: A lovely, pleasant spot tucked away in the forest. However, it's still quite expensive: a hanger steak with fries for 24 euros with a tiny bit of nail and a spritz at Parisian prices: a Parisian-style price.

18/07/2026: Lunch at 6 today. The food, service, setting, and ambiance were all admirable. The menu was generous, with flavors beautifully highlighted and balanced. It deserves more than one star. We will definitely return. (Minor suggestion: the reduction of the sauces could be better balanced in two courses; perhaps adding a touch of acidity would be helpful?)

24/07/2026: Perfect from start to finish. Bravo to the chef for this discovery and this delicious dinner. Each dish was a true delight. The team is incredible, attentive, and caring throughout the meal. A special mention goes to the sommelier, Maria de Jesus, who is simply exceptional, professional, efficient, and offers excellent advice. My only regret is that I live too far from Fontainebleau.

13/07/2026: A place out of time. Luxury cabins on stilts at the end of a pontoon overlooking the lake. Shower, bed, bean-to-cup coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, huge ceiling fan, Nordic bath. Peaceful, except for the noise of the neighbors—I'm talking about the ducks, geese, swans, and coypu that inhabit the marsh.

26/05/2026: Excellent restaurant with delicious food, impeccable service, and a charming atmosphere. We came to celebrate my father's birthday and we weren't disappointed at all; quite the opposite. They even surprised him with a sparkling candle. Kudos to the whole team! I highly recommend this place.
