26/02/2026: A very good experience with La Bodega Rouen during the restaurant cruise on the L’Escapade boat. The meal was good, the setting really lovely on the water, and the staff pleasant and welcoming. An exceptional experience that's a refreshing change from a typical restaurant. I highly recommend it.

10/03/2026: A truly excellent restaurant since its reopening a few months ago under the new owner. The staff are very pleasant and attentive, and the cuisine is simple, delicious, and generous. The menu offers three starters, main courses, and desserts, all homemade, and changes several times a week. A former favorite that has (finally!) regained its former glory, much to our delight. The setting, with its perfectly restored Art Deco decor, enhances the overall experience.

03/03/2026: The Métropole, a listed historical monument, embodies French tradition; let's step back in time to the 1930s. Fast and courteous service and a lovely sunny terrace... for a truly enjoyable dining experience.

We enjoyed the refined dishes, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and served piping hot. Congratulations to the chef! Delicious dishes with excellent presentation on beautiful plates. White tablecloths and napkins. Highly recommended.

02/04/2026: I was in Rouen one day and ate at this tavern, inspired by the reviews. I can't make any comparisons, but I'd definitely recommend it. The place is beautiful, the food excellent, and the staff are helpful and friendly. The quality/price ratio is also excellent.

31/03/2026: I've eaten here several times and I'm never disappointed! The raclette is excellent, whether it's the cheese, the cured meats, or the potatoes… the atmosphere and the staff are also very friendly! Top 👍🏼

04/04/2026: A very good dinner near Dieppe. We hadn't been before, and it brought us back to the north of France. The teenagers loved their burgers. The Welsh rarebit was very good. The flammekueche was also very good. A great family dinner.

21/03/2026: Between an order of truffle pasta that magically transformed into carbonara, and a first trip back to the kitchen, a 15-minute wait while everyone else started their meals. My beef rump, cooked medium, turned burnt to a crisp! I sincerely think your grill needs cleaning ASAP. After speaking with the waitress to point out that the dish was simply not good and inedible (as evidenced by the three small pieces of meat, which cost €17, that were left on the plate), she just told us we should have mentioned it sooner. No gesture of goodwill, no brief apology, nothing more. My advice: if you want a good meal, avoid this place.

08/03/2026: We had a very pleasant dinner with a couple of friends. When making the reservation, I requested a table in the room along the Paris road, and my wish was granted! We each chose different dishes, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed them! Our server was very friendly and efficient. It's always a pleasure to come to La Taverne, whether as a couple, with friends, or in a group; we will definitely be back!
